The much-anticipated State of Play for February 2023 by Sony has come to a close. It’s a wrap! But here’s everything they dropped, from the extended look at “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” to new characters in “Street Fighter 6.”

Rocksteady unveils an extended look at ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”

First stop, we got our most extensive look yet at the much-awaited game, “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” which revealed its combat, RPG, and live service elements. We also saw the gameplay of Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, and Deadshot as they romp around the metropolitan levels defeating all enemies in sight. The game developer also discussed post-launch support, including gear score mechanics, a cosmetic battle pass, and upgradable weapons.

Capcom reveals 3 new ‘Street Fighter 6’ characters

It’s official: Zangief, Lily, and Cammy are the new characters in “Street Fighter 6.” Each of these characters got a brief gameplay showcase displaying their distinctive fighting styles. Gamers noticed Cammy got the biggest makeover, coming into this game edition with a new hairstyle and, of course, jacket. Lily joins the cast as a newcomer in the series.

‘Destiny 2: Lightfall’ launch trailer unveiled ahead of release next week

The latest expansion of “Destiny 2,” “Lightfall,” will be launched this February 28th. To gear up gamers, Bungie revealed the launch trailer for the upcoming expansion. The trailer showcased the battle between the Guardians and The Witness, and Callus’ Shadow Legion of Cabal. We also got a new look at the upcoming Strand subclass. 

‘Tetris Effect’ developers reveal a new project known as Humanity

The developers behind “Tetris Effect” has also revealed a new title called Humanity, which showcases a spirit-like dog leading hundreds of humans in a Lemmings-like manner. We also got a glimpse of a creation tool, which players can create and share levels with others worldwide. The game is coming this May on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and PlayStation VR2.

There’s a new trailer for ‘NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS’

NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS” collects the Ultimate Ninja Storm series to reconnect them into just one story. Gamers saw the gameplay of the battle between Naruto and Sasuke, as well as several other characters from across the series.

Other revelations during Sony’s State of Play February 2023 are the new trailer for “Wayfinder,” “Goodbye Volcano High” announced coming to PS5 and PS4 this June 15th, “Tchia” launching into PlayStation Plus Extra tier this March, five games ins PS VR2 this year, new “Resident Evil 4” trailer confirming the return of Mercenaries Mode, and “Baldur’s Gate III’s” launch this August 31st.
