“Fortnite Creative” maps are nice to play with, but only a handful become viral over the Internet – such as this map dressed with a “The Legend of Zelda”-style RPG mode. Here’s the story.
‘Fortnite’ makes history with ‘Creative’
Since “Creative” was introduced to “Fortnite” gamers, particularly “Creative 2.0,” it has invited many other gamers to jump into the play.
Basically, “Fortnite Creative” allows you to design “Fortnite” games and experiences, which can then be published and shared with the online community. It also lets you recreate the game with your own vision, use your own rules on your personal island, and discover several other games made by the community.
Moreover, the introduction of Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) has opened doors for a wealth of inventive maps to also be enjoyed.
Now, a “Creative” map that has dramatically transformed “Fortnite” into a fantastic RPG mode is going viral and gaining high praise from the gaming community.
‘Fortnite’ map inspired by ‘Zelda’
How the RPG map and gameplay appear was shared by an X netizen and “Fortnite” player @Z33N_ZEPPELI_P5.
In the video they posted on the social media platform, it shows them running around and exploring a user-created dimension that depicts a typical village you will usually find in RPGs, such as that from “The Legend of Zelda.”
And it’s more than just the visuals. The map is complete with classic sounds, light-hearted music in the background, UI, notifications, and even in-game NPCs with their dialogue.
Gamers are loving it
That “Fortnite” map has gone viral, so that means the gaming community is loving it, and yes, the video by @Z33N_ZEPPELI_P5 was flooded with praise.
“‘Fortnite’ has come such a long way. I never thought I’d see the day,” said one commenter.
Meanwhile, another responded they “can’t wait to see what ‘Fortnite’ becomes.”
Others are just blown away.
“I was playing this the other day, and I was blown away. What the hell is ‘Fortnite’ (it’s awesome),” they commented.
“Imagine a whole Pokémon game recreated in ‘Fortnite’ comes next,” said another.
“The Legend of Zelda” is an action-adventure game franchise Nintendo developed and published, but created by Takashi Tezuka and Shigeru Miyamoto, Japanese game designers.
“Zelda” revolves around the many incarnations of Link, a brave young man of the elf-like Hylian race. He journeys with Princess Zelda, a magical princess, as they fight to save the Hyrule magical land from an evil warlord-turned-demon-king, Ganon.
