Tropico 6 Launches This November 6 On Nintendo Switch

There are a lot of things to be excited about this month, as a lot of video games will be released for fans to download and play. One video game in mind that is set to release this month is Tropico 6, a management simulation game.

While the title has already been released on other storefronts such as Steam before, this upcoming November 6th release is meant for the Nintendo Switch. This was announced during the most recent Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase.

A lot of other things were announced during that Direct Mini as well, such as the free demo for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, the reveal of Bravely Default II’s release date, as well as the coming of Hitman 3.

The Nintendo Switch Edition for Tropico 6 will come with unique content, such as an exclusive palace design, a tourist costume for the infamous “El Presidente,” as well as a “captivating flamingo pond.”

The title is situated on the Caribbean island of Tropico, where players are in charge of controlling a character named El Prez – a ruler who is responsible for managing Tropico and all its affairs.

Leading Tropico to prosperity may seem like a simple thing to do, as you just have to construct and manage things with the click of a mouse. However, what Tropico needs during this time of political and social turmoil is a leader who is fair and brave.

The people need someone who is capable of guiding them through the four different eras, namely The Colonial Era, the World Wars Era, the Cold War Era, and the Modern Era. That being said, you have the power to become the kind of leader you want to be.

In other words, you don’t have to be a fair ruler if you don’t want to be. As a matter of fact, you can become the worst kind of El Prez – one who shirks his duties and slowly introduces a form of dictatorship.

In addition, you will be able to play Tropico 6 on large archipelagos, which is a first-time feature for the series. This time around, you will be tasked to manage more than one island simultaneously, which will definitely increase the number of responsibilities placed on your shoulders.

Another new feature introduced to Tropico 6 is the new modes of transportation. Plus, players will find that the title has a couple of brand-new infrastructure possibilities as well, which will definitely expand your horizons as to what you want to build for your nation.

For instance, you are given the chance to build bridges and construct tunnels, all while utilizing different ways to transport your citizens to different locations. Among other things, you can also send out some of your agents to foreign lands, where they are tasked to steal all kinds of monuments and other mementos for your collection.

In addition to that, El Prez has a palace that you can customize in whatever way you want. From your personalized palace’s balcony, you will be able to address your subjects with an election speech that will win their favor.

In other news, Tropico 6 will also be released on Origin Access, EA’s subscription service, this coming November 21. It will be a part of Origin’s list of major releases this month, along with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Need For Speed Heat.
