“Spy x Family” is a manga and an anime that has won the hearts of fans around the world. From the creation of Tatsuya Endo, its story follows an enigmatic spy – think of James Bond or K-Drama “Vincenzo” – who must “build a family” as part of a mission, not realizing his adopted daughter is a telepath, and the woman he agrees to marry is a skilled assassin. Loid Forger
Of course, there is no question that Loid Forger is the best character here. That name looks real, but his actual name is unknown, as he has thrown away everything from his past to work for Westalis, his home country, as an undercover spy with the codename “Twilight.”
For this new mission, he must get wed and have a child, so he travels to Ostania, creates his “Loid Forger” alias, and stars the Forger Family because he is the adoptive dad to Anya and enters into a fake marriage with Yor Briar. But, little did he know he was about to embark on a roller coaster ride.
Anya Forger
Is it frustrating if you knew you were just born out of a spy mission? Well, Anya always has to live with that fact. This adopted daughter of Loid and Yor Forger shines in the story as a first-year pupil in Cecile Hall, Class 3. But, spoilers ahead, she is also a telepath who got this power from an experiment an unknown organization has conducted.
Yor Forger
Yor Forger, your forger, that was witty, but don’t look at her name, rather her ambition in the game. She is a certified wolf in sheep’s clothing, being an ordinary office clerk by day, and leads a secret life as a Garden assassin under the code name “Thorn Princess” by night.
She now needs a cover to continue her work as an assassin, so she agrees to marry Loid. She believes this deal will help her reach her goals.
Damian Desmond
With a look that will remind you of Syaoran Li of “Cardcaptor Sakura,” Damian Desmond is a recurring or support character. He attends the same school as Anya and is her rival. He looks innocent on the outside, but he has some of the most potent superpowers around.
Yuri Briar
This recurring and supporting character is Yor’s younger brother, a 20-year-old who works in the State Security Service. But for whatever reason, he keeps this job a secret from his sister and instead pretends to be a normal civil servant. Oops.
