What’s fantastic about “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” is that this game won’t just take you on adventures but also challenge your capacity to love as it lets you marry others. Previously, here on PVP Live, you learned about the best wives to marry in this game. Women power all the way, but this time, you’ll get to know who is the most husband material in “Skyrim?” Let’s dive right in!
The Most Eligible Husbands In ‘Skyrim’
There are several guys in “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” who you can marry, but not all of them are husband material. Here are the best.
1. Argis The Bulwark
Love is perfectly imperfect, as manifested in Argis the Bulwark, who is leading this list. Wives who are not particular about the looks and intelligence of a guy, but instead after how much he’ll care for them, should choose him as their husband.
A tried and tested warrior, he lost his eye in battle, but this is attractive for wives after their future. He will go all out to travel and fight beside his thane and wife, as well as do everything a husband should be responsible for, such as opening a shop and sharing his profits with you. In a world where spouse conflicts are primarily about financial matters, having a husband who shares income with you is a blessing.
Argos will also make home-cooked meals in the in-game home and will work their way to be the strongest man for you. However, he isn’t the smartest in the game, but he owns a house that can be well your abode for your future.
2. Calder
Trailing behind is Calder, the Thane of Eastmatch. For wives after prestige, title, and reputation, Calder is the man to marry. He is a high-ranking officer in the city. Marrying him gives you the chance to own the Hjerim manor, and Calder will be a bonus. Tested by battles, he is strong and can deal a lot of damage, also making him a formidable companion if you’re specialized in stealth or magic.
3. Wolf Twins Vilkas And Farkas
Gamers who know how excellent a wife material Aela the Huntress is will find her in the personalities of wolf twins Vilkas and Farkas. Vilkas is intelligent, capable of running the household while a workaholic wife is away. He is also an amazing battle and adventure companion. During fights, he is fierce but gets sweet and attentive at home. How cute is that?
If you don’t want Vilkas but want someone from the same bloodline, marry his brother Farkas. Unlike Vilkas, Farkas isn’t the most intelligent nor the most responsible. But he’s great for a wife who values strength and looks. He will take care of your kids well, is sweet to you, and is a tough monster in combat and while traveling with you.
4. Balimund
They are followed by Balimund, a young seasoned blacksmith. Okay, if you’re not after wealth but after somebody who knows how to strategize so they can get what they want in life, marry Balimund. He doesn’t own a house initially, but his blacksmith store could be your home. He’s a great contender for a husband because what he does is so useful.
5. Onmund
From Balimund to Onmund. This Nord is quite passionate about magic at the College of Winterhold, which is his anchor for getting respected. He doesn’t carry the strength the others have, and it is understandable for some wives to doubt him because he doesn’t usually get the family’s approval. But, at the end of the day, his caring side will show.
A follower, Onmund excels in lightning-based spells. He can also heal himself and be invisible when he wants. Regarding defense, he is more capable than other spouses. He is dedicated to his craft.
6. Filnjar
Filnjar is also a blacksmith like Balimund, but wives go gaga over how good a blacksmith he is. In fact, he is considered a veteran blacksmith and among the finest craftsmen “Skyrim” has to offer.
Youth isn’t at his side, though, but he is an honest man who has made a living by crafting steel armor and other weapons for most of his life. If you need a husband to help you master your smithing skills, it’s best to have Filnjar.
A perfect companion as well, Filnjar, though, just owns a tiny home filled with smithing tools in Shor’s Stone.
7. Marcurio
Marcurio is attractive and among the most moral husbands in “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.” You would think he’s perfect, but he doesn’t have a home and is a bit arrogant. However, if you fancy flaunting your man to others as how arrogant he is, this is the right guy.
Yet, he must be hired as a companion first before you can marry him. His arrogance will wane after you two get married. Here’s a fun trivia. His morality is above and beyond, as when you commit crimes as his wife, you’ll end up being reprimanded by his aggressiveness. Yikes.
8. Ainethach
Ainethach isn’t the most attractive guy in the game. He pretty much looks like Argus Filch, the Hogwarts caretaker in “Harry Potter,” but why is he on this list of the best husbands? Well, for one, he has a home before you can even work hard to get a home. Is he wealthy? Yes, he is wealthy.
Talk about his house, it is enormous, bigger than many other houses in the game. If you’re after stability more than attractiveness, Ainethach is for you. His home is called Karthwasten Hall.
Wrapping Up
Those are some of the best husbands in “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.” Marrying in “Skyrim” is like simulating real life. A “priest” will officiate your wedding with the gods present, but the surroundings are somewhat magical. The wedding ceremony here is like a ritual, a rite.
