Capcom has announced that they are revealing new information on Resident Evil 8 during the Tokyo Game Show which is set to happen later this month. The event, like most of the recent game shows scheduled this year, will take place on as an online streaming event. The good news is Capcom will hold a few live streams throughout the month.
On September 25, Friday at 6 AM PT, the developers will join an exclusive Tokyo Game Show live streaming event which features Capcom games including Resident Evil 8.
In addition, Capcom has also confirmed a Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition streaming event on September 26 and another Resident Evil 8 stream the next day, September 27. The stream will be in Japanese but the developers ensured that Chinese and English interpretations will be made available.
Capcom announced Resident Evil 8, also known as Resident Evil Village, during a PlayStation 5 event last June 2020. The game is expected to be released next year on both next-gen consoles as well as the PC. Lately, Capcom also confirmed that the game will still be in a first-person perspective similar to Resident Evil 7.

The game is set to take place a few years after the horrifying events of Resident Evil 7 where the hero Ethan Winters searched a Louisiana town to look for his missing wife, Mia.
During the reveal of Resident Evil 8, Capcom stated that they will be revealing more details about the game in August but the whole month just passed without any updates from them.
