Activision Goes After Call of Duty cheat maker CxCheat

Call of Duty: Warzone has a serious cheating problem on PC. Thankfully, Activision has been cracking down on the developers who create these cheats. CxCheat.net is a company known for developing cheats for multiplayer games on PC. Activision has threatened legal action against them and because of this, they have stated that the development and sale of Call of Duty cheats will be discontinued.

The announcement that CxCheat.net was going to stop the development and sale of Call of Duty cheating products was first seen on Reddit. They notified their Discord users that developing and selling of exploits that allowed players to gain unfair advantages in multiple Call of Duty games, including Warzone. Cheats for Apex Legends and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds were also being sold by CxCheat.net.

An admin for their Discord further stated that Activision may suspend or ban players that have been using its hacking products in the game. The company’s Discord has since gone offline. CxCheat’s website also appears to be down, however, Eurogamer did report that it was still operating throughout the weekend.
