The jaw-dropping reveal for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War multiplayer mode has finally arrived last night.
This has set player speculations for the upcoming beta test which was already confirmed to be first available on the PlayStation 4. Activision also announced the exact date when the beta will begin, and there will be various dates during which it will be available depending on the user’s platform and if they have preordered the main game.
Players might find it confusing to have two beta tests with early access during each one. This is why we’ve gathered all the information you need to know in accessing Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War beta testing phase. The good thing is, whether players preorder or not, they will be given the chance to try the game before it is launched.
Beta Start Dates
The developers have revealed that there will be two beta-testing “weekends” but the term used was wrong since they will last for five days. The first beta testing phase will run exclusively on the PlayStation 4, with players with preorders getting access first before it opens to all PlayStation 4 users. Activision also noted that a PlayStation Plus subscription is required in some regions.
The second beta test will run on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and will have crossplay support. This too will be accessible first by players who have preordered the game on the PC and Xbox One while all PlayStation 4 users will get access immediately. Xbox Live Gold will be required for Xbox One users.
