No specific details have been released yet about the upcoming new season of Call of Duty Mobile. The development team has announced little hints about it but players are still in the dark regarding the upcoming season’s new content, weapons, and maps. A recently posted tweet has provided a small hint as the game’s developers shared an intriguing photo for fans to interpret.
It is popularly known that Call of Duty Mobile borrows content from other famous Call of Duty games. The development team has created a melting-pot style game that blends features from a few fan-favorite titles. Following this trend, the image posted on the official Twitter account of Call of Duty Mobile may hint at a gun that faithful fans know all too well.
Upon analysis of the recent Call of Duty tweet, fans are anticipating the weapon to be the SKS rifle. The attachment, length, magazine, and handle selection matches the shadow precisely off of just a short glance.
😲 Wait.. there's more?!
❓ Can you guess what weapon this is?

If this is to be believed, then the SKS would be the second kind of marksman rifle to be introduced to Call of Duty Mobile, placing it along with the Kilo-Bolt Action launched back in August 2020. Fans are anticipating the new gun to be a semi-automatic weapon with improved stats so that it does not break the mobile game’s meta.
In an earlier tease, Activision announced another new weapon coming to Call of Duty Mobile. Players are anticipating the Famas to be included as a burst rifle choice, finishing the set of two weapons per season. Both of these guns are highly awaited and demanded by the community, making the teasers great publicity for fan expectations.
While Call of Duty Mobile is anticipated to start its new season next week, January 26th, it will not be dubbed as Season 14. The developers announced that they will be revamping the seasonal count of Call of Duty Mobile allowing the first season of the year to be called Season One. This change is mainly because of the need for a more simplified system that might hint at a future1 decision about Call of Duty Warzone’s increasing seasonal count.
If the new content is similar to past seasons, fans should anticipate two more weapons, a new map, and a new mode. It is speculated that Attack of the Undead 2 will be the new season’s new game mode, while Rebirth Island will take place as a mobile map option.
