Darksiders III will be released for the Nintendo Switch on September 30th, thanks to publisher THQ Nordic and developer Gunfire Games. Darksiders III, which was released in November 2018, put players in the shoes of Fury, the third of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Gunfire Games continued to support the action RPG beyond its initial release, releasing two post-launch DLC expansions. Fans of the Nintendo Switch will soon be able to see everything for themselves.
Darksiders III will finally be available for Nintendo Switch on September 30, with a $39.99 price tag, and plans to launch digitally and in stores, according to THQ Nordic. The package will also include Darksiders III’s two DLC packs, Keepers of the Void and The Crucible, in addition to the original game.
The first two installments of Darksiders were highly influenced by The Legend of Zelda; the third major installment, on the other hand, was more influenced by Metroidvania-styled games. Nonetheless, Fury’s post-apocalyptic journey should fit very nicely on Nintendo’s hybrid system.
Additionally, some Darksiders fans who possess a Switch may have been satisfied by the release of Darksiders Genesis. Genesis, a top-down RPG with hack-and-slash action, introduced Diablo-like elements to the Darksiders universe and even exceeded THQ Nordic’s expectations.
