The Lichdragon Fortissax Secret Boss is a Legend-type but optional boss in the game. This secret boss can be summoned if and only if you pursue Fia, a non-player character in the Deathbed Companion’s Questline.
The Step-By-Step Guide
It isn’t difficult to find this secret boss. However, before locating it, you must pursue Fia first in the quest line. Here are the pointers to remember:
- First and foremost, look for the odd face in Stormveil Castle’s underground and check the blood spot.
- Then, bring Sorcerer Rogier to Roundtable Hold by conversing with him in the church. Speak with him about the body. Afterward, speak with Fia and discuss secrets with her. Doing so gives you the Blackknife Clue.
- Then, journey to the Black Knife Catacomb, located directly north of the Carian Study Hall at the Liurnia of the Lakes. Make use of the guillotine traps to get to the upper hallway. There, it would be best if you found the illusory wall. Note that you must battle with the Black Knife Assassin boss inside. This is needed to progress.
- After defeating the Black Knife Assassin boss, hand the key item to Sorcerer Rogier. Afterward, talk to Fia again and get the knife she hands you. Hand this knife to D. Leave and get back. Fia will then leave the Roundtable Hold. Wait for her to leave before you can continue the quest.

Find this cave in the Ancestral Woods area. This path takes you to the Valiant Gargoyles boss. Fight and beat this boss, then use the coffin on the ledge.
Take note: Accessing Nokron requires you first to defeat Starscourge Radahn in Caelid’s Redmane Castle. After you do so, a gigantic crater south of Mistwood will be created, leading to Nokron.
Now, after utilizing the coffin, you will immediately find yourself in Deeproot Depths underneath Leyndell. Travel through until you reach the Prince of Death’s Throne area.
Now, you can remember Fia left the Roundtable Hold, but this time, she will reappear in this Throne area. Before you can speak with her again, you must defeat her Champions. You’re looking for the Cursemark of Death key item.
- To obtain the Cursemark of Death, speak with Sorcerer Rogier again, but after he is finished studying the Blackknife Print. Until then, you will be sent to meet Ranni the Witch, another non-player character, located at Caria Manor’s end. Then, start Ranni’s quest, then unlock Nokron, and collect the Cursemark of Death beneath the giant corpse throne in Nokron.
- The key item must be returned to Ranni before you use the Inverted Statue to get to the top of the Carian Study Hall.
This is followed by giving Fia the Cursemark of Death at where else? The Prince of Death’s Throne. Fia will agree to consort with Godwyn the Golden and give birth to a child. Sure, this part seems pointless, but you’ll have to witness it before progressing.
After Fia gets the Cursemark, you will need to talk to her thrice. Leave and return after you give the item back to her. On the third revisit, you may select to “enter the Deathbed Dream,” where Fia is asleep.
