Legendary Armaments pertain to a series of powerful weapons in “Elden Ring.” There are nine of these to be found, and they are all worth collecting. However, not every Armanent is created equal. Some are better than others. In this guide, we’ll present the ranking of these weapons from best to worst, including, of course, details on where to find them. Let’s begin.

1. Sword Of Night And Flame

It’s almost a unanimous choice that Sword of Night and Flame is the best Legendary Armament in the game. Find this sword at Caria Manor in Liurnia of the Lakes. To get here, fast-travel to the Site of Grace bearing the name Manor Upper Level, then return and descend using the elevator. Simply follow the pathway along the bridges. Once you are by the fourth, turn your gaze to your left to find a platform you can use to drop down to. Do so, then use the ladder to climb down to the bottom. There will be a treasure chest containing the Sword of Night and Flame.

2. Dark Moon Greatsword

Unlike in the previous weapon, you won’t do a lot of navigation to obtain the Dark Moon Greatsword. Basically, it will be bestowed upon you after finishing the long quest associated with Ranni the Witch. This Armament is at the altar in the vicinity where the questline ends. Here’s a walkthrough of Ranni’s questline

3. Bolt Of Gransax

The third-best Legendary Armanent is Bolt of Gransax, which is the only Missable weapon of this kind in “Elden Ring.” To get this, you must locate it before you agree to burn the Erdtree at the end of the Mountaintops of the Giants area. Please find it in Leyndell at the Royal Capital.

After your encounter with Godfrey, First Elden Lord, descend the stairs into the next space and use the elevator to go further down. Walk along the railing before dropping down onto the ledge beneath you. From here, jump onto the spear that’s piercing the dragon. You will find the weapon at the top.

4. Golden Order Greatsword

The Golden Order Greatsword is the final Legendary Armament, listed as the fourth-best. You can find it inside the Cave of the Forlorn, specifically located in the Mountaintops of the Giants’ western portion. Reach this spot by making use of the Grand Lift of Rold.

From the Ordina, Liturgical Town Site of Grace, proceed southeast until you get to the frozen riverbed. Follow this eastward until you find a locked entrance on your left side. You must get inside, but you need two Stonesword Keys. Once you are able to go through this cave and tackle the Misbegotten Crusader boss, the Golden Order Greatsword will appear.

5. Marais Executioner’s Sword

Fifth on the ranking is the Marais Executioner’s Sword. It is one of the easiest to get. The Elemer of the Briar drops this sword. Your encounter with this Great Enemy Boss in the game is an optional boss fight. You can commence it at The Shaded Castle’s end portion in the Altus Plateau.

6. Eclipse Shotel

Head to Castle Shol to find the Eclipse Shotel. The castle is situated in the very north of the Mountaintops of the Giants. Inside its southeastern side, you can find the Church of the Eclipse. Enter the Church and pick up the weapon off a corpse lying at the foot of the altar.

7. Devourer’s Scepter

Seventh is the Devourer’s Scepter. Acquiring this Scepter is quite a process. You can pick up the weapon off the corpse of Recusant Berhnahl, an invading soldier in Crumbling Farum Azula.

To reach this area, climb up the stairs from the Site of Grace named Beside the Great Bridge, as if you were about to take on the Draconic Tree Sentinel. But this time, turn around and simply follow the linear path until you arrive at a balcony. Use the ladder on your right to climb down. Then, you’ll see a chest right in front of you. Walk toward it, but be careful, as there’s the invading soldier approaching you. Kill him to get the weapon.

8. Grafted Blade Greatsword

Meanwhile, Leonine Misbegotten shall drop this Legendary Armament for you. Misbegotten is another boss fight, but this time at Castle Morne in the Weeping Peninsula’s south. As you reach the castle’s rear, the encounter starts on a tiny island in your map’s very south portion. Be sure to kill Misbegotten to get the Grafted Blade Greatsword as your reward.

9. Ruins Greatsword

Lastly, the Ruins Greatsword. It’s the weakest of the bunch, but it has its uses, nonetheless. Here’s how you can find this.

In Caelid’s very south area is Redmade Castle, housing a double boss fight versus a Crucible Knight and a Misbegotten Warrior. Now you must defeat both of them to obtain the weapon.

Sometimes, you’ll find yourself arriving late. If you do, beat Starscourge Radahn, then come back later. You will see a Fog Door that’s blocking the entrance to the main square. If you don’t, speak with the Jester, who will reset the location for you.

So that’s how you can find every Legendary Armament in “Elden Ring.” After you collect them all, the Legendary Armaments Trophy shall unlock.
