FIFA21 has officially revealed its Team of the Year (TOTY) for the past calendar year, and FIFA Ultimate Team players will have an opportunity to unpack these remarkably rare and high stat player cards in the next couple of days.
While these particular player cards will only be in packs for a limited amount of time, this is the best time of the year most Ultimate Team players are waiting in order to complete filling out their teams, since the TOTY cards usually have the best stats in the game.
During the previous year, the top players were nominated based on their performances. In the end, 70 nominees were accepted, and according to the official FIFA 21 website, more than 10 million votes were counted to determine the best eleven TOTY candidates.
The TOTY forwards are:
- Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germaine
- Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich
- Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus
The ones who boss the game from the first minute to the final whistle.

Some fans are accusing EA of upping the game’s difficulty levels to encourage more spending, but players are likely to spend a lot for these player cards, nonetheless. It’s not shocking that players from Bayern Munich are a consistent feature across the entire TOTY, provided their dominance of the Bundesliga and Champions League Crown.
The rest of the winners had standout performances in their own respective teams. These are widely regarded to be the best player cards in FIFA 21, but how these TOTY cards will change the meta of Ultimate Team is yet to be seen.
