When Fortnite introduced the Marvel heroes coming to Season 4, one stood out from the rest. That is because he is not actually a hero but a villain – Doctor Doom.
Doctor Doom isn’t just another Season 4 Battle Pass skin. He is also a boss waiting for unsuspecting players to kill. The new season posted a new challenge – players must kill him in order to get a couple of mythical in-game items.

Where is Doctor Doom located?
Like all other bosses, Doctor Doom hangs out in his lair called Doom’s Domain which is formerly Fortnite’s Pleasant Park. The area is now taken over by a weird mansion with a huge statue of himself.
Similar to all villain hideouts, the area also features a hidden vault and underground base. To find him, players must head inside the mansion and head into the vaults where he is constantly waiting.
How to defeat Doctor Doom?
Players can do this task alone but pros recommend teaming up because Doctor Doom has a lot of HP and frequently uses deadly energy blasts to set the floor on fire.

- Drop at Doom’s Domain, formerly Pleasant Park
- Mark the big dark house in the area
- Go to the house and land on the rooftop
- Use the pickaxe to break in and look for a few weapons
- Find high ground and fire at the boss until his HP is depleted
- Pick up the mythical item drops which include a Mystical Bomb and the Arcane Gauntlet
Pro Tip: Utilize high grounds
An important tip to defeating Doctor Doom is to know where to break inside the mansion. Entering through the front door will only leave players with little cover.
Players need to land on top of the mansion to be able to blindside Doctor Doom from above. The villain can be frequently seen roaming around the ground floor and might look weak at first. However, always remember that bosses have higher HP than your character so they will take longer to kill.
Using the high grounds, players can deal damage to Doctor Doom without receiving that much damage. When he is downed, kill him as fast as possible. Upon killing him, two books will be scattered on the floor. Pick these up as they are very valuable items.
