In Warframe, the Tusk Thumper Doma is a versatile war machine that can be found on the Plains of Eidolon. For a Nightwave challenge, Nora Night wants us to destroy one. We’ll show you where to look for one and how to dispatch it in this guide.
The Thumper Doma
This is a daunting foe because it is well-known for being a war machine, which does not put it in a difficult situation. It also poses a significant obstacle for us because we will need to hold all we have, which means going deep in a quest that will not take long.
It is necessary to consider that before learning how to defeat Tusk Thumper Doma, it is ideal to consider where it spawns, which becomes more complicated because random encounters are common. For this, we will need to use our Archwing, which allows us to fly to the places where it usually spawns, and if we do not see it in the first place, we simply do not give it a bad life.
To obtain a Tusk Thumper Doma, we must travel to the plains, obtain a level 5 reward, and visit Konzu in Cetus, meaning that we must be on an acceptable level quest. It is also important to note that a regular Tusk Thumper Doma is available on the Eidolon Plains.
How To Kill
The Tusk Thumper Doma is heavily armored and can not be damaged by a bullet to the body. The armor plates on the knees must be shot off, revealing a vulnerable glowing spot. Each of the machine’s four weak points, one on each knee, constitutes a quarter of the machine’s overall health.
Since the Tusk Thumper Doma is made of Alloy Armor, you can attack it with Radiation, Cold, or Puncture. The most powerful form of damage against the Doma is radiation. Radiation damage can be added to any arm by combining Heat and Electrical damage mods. Both damage forms, including magnetic, slash, and electric, are less effective against Alloy Armor, so avoid using them.
We recommend using a Catchmoon against it, as we’ve found that when modded with the right damage, they rip these enemies to shreds. Due to its high fitness and agility, the Tusk Thumper is an awkward opponent. It can hop around and be difficult to reach. Bring a Rhino with you, and his Stomp would lock the Tusk Thumper in place, allowing you to quickly deal harm to it. Only be careful and work on your fitness.
It’s also way better to do this in a group, so if you’re a solo player, it’s a smart idea to join the Recruiting chat and join a group looking for the Tusk Thumper Doma.
