Katamari Damacy Reroll Makes Its Way to Japan This November

Originally launched on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, Katamari Damacy Reroll is officially making its way to other platforms, namely the PS4 and the Xbox One. On the downside, this announcement is only applicable to those who are living in Japan.

That said, don’t lose hope though! There are many reasons to believe that this will be released internationally at some point. For starters, Katamari Damacy Reroll has already been localized, and most if not all Katamari games that are available on gaming consoles get released in the West.

As mentioned on Gematsu, it will be sold for ¥3200 ($30) and the Xbox One will only see a digital release. Here’s a quick overview of the game as written on its Steam page:

The stop-at-nothing pushing prince is back and ready to reroll! When the King of All Cosmos accidentally destroys all the stars in the sky, he orders you, his pint-sized princely son, to put the twinkle back in the heavens above. Join the King and Prince of Cosmos on their wacky adventure to restore the stars – now in full HD!

The beloved roll-em-up game returns with fully updated graphics, completely recreated cutscenes and in full HD!

Sounds exciting, right? Katamari Damacy Reroll for PS4 and Xbox One will be available on November 19, 2020. If you’re living in Japan right now, that means you’re pretty lucky! That said, you can still buy the game on Switch and Steam, though.
