During the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, the release date for Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory has finally been announced. The game will be released on November 11 in Japan, while the West can expect it on November 13. The trailer was also revealed during the live stream, which you can watch below:
Kingdom Hearts is a series of games by Square Enix in collaboration with Disney, as you will find familiar characters from your childhood such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and more. This series of RPG games has quite a collection, and Melody of Memory is its first rhythm action game.
Just like the other Kingdom Hearts games, though, different Disney characters will assist you depending on what stage you’re on. It will also feature over 140 songs, including music from both Disney and Kingdom Hearts.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory also has a new mode called “Free-for-all,” which is a feature that allows you to play and compete with up to eight players. Long-time fans of the game are beyond excited to try the game out, especially since Kingdom Hearts has played such a big part in the childhood of many gamers.
Can I just say that Melody of Memory is the Kingdom Hearts game I've wanted for forever?
The music from KH holds such a special place in my heart and is just objectively SO GOOD so HELL YEAH SIGN ME UP.
