It is unknown if this is the case for this layoff of the team handling the said tool, but some might still find it concerning since misinformation remains a trouble on Facebook.

Even more, users reported being unable to prevent the ad even when using ad blockers since they can only stop ads inside web pages, not the ones part of the browser UI. 

Users expressed disappointment over Mozilla’s move, saying it is “not a good look for a company trying to promote privacy, security, and Internet that caters to users’ needs.” The ad reportedly received tons of complaints, pushing the company to stop the ad experience, as confirmed on different platforms.

“Firefox is committed to creating an online experience that puts people first, as such we quickly stopped running the ad experience and are reviewing internally,” one Mozilla employee said on the Mozilla support page.

Jaehoon Chang, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company and Youngsoo Kwon, CEO of LG Energy Solution, signed a memorandum of understanding to produce EV batteries in the U.S.

Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solution signed a memorandum of understanding for an electric vehicle battery cell manufacturing joint venture in the US. This is expected to create a new EV power plant in Bryan County, Savannah, Georgia, which is expected to deliver 30 GWh annual production capacity to support 300,000 EV production.

According to the press release, the construction would start in the second half of 2023 and will be adjacent to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, which is currently under construction. Meanwhile, the “earliest” estimated starting timeframe of battery production is set at the end of 2025.

“Hyundai Mobis will assemble battery packs using cells from the plant, then supply them to the Group’s U.S. manufacturing facilities for production of Hyundai, Kia and Genesis EV models,” wrote Hyundai in its press release. “The new facility will help create a stable supply of batteries in the region and allow the Group to respond fast to the soaring EV demand in the U.S. market.”

The two companies will hold a 50 percent stake in the joint venture, translating to over USD 4.3 billion. The venture will also add to LG’s current seven battery plants already operating and being constructed in the US. The news also comes after LG unveiled four new EV charger models as part of its continuous EV battery charger business push. The creations were manufactured by HiEV Charger, formerly AppleMango, which LG, GS Energy, and GS Neotek acquired last year.

The Google Pixel Tablet will be generally available starting this June 20th, but until now, the surprises about this gadget just keep on arriving.

Initially, Google said its Pixel Tablet would be available in three colors by the time this product is launched. These colors are Rose, Porcelain, and Rose. But apparently, according to recent leaks coming out as shared by various news outlets, a mysterious fourth color is under wraps and now revealed to be Charcoal Black. The reasons Google kept the Charcoal Black variant under wraps are unclear. According to speculators, this could be because they want to suggest an element of surprise or generate more excitement from people as the tablet’s release draws to a close. 

The Charcoal Black variant of the Google Pixel Tablet is said to fuse a black-colored bezel with a dark gray case, exuding utmost charm and elegance, perfect for those who like a more sophisticated look without going away from being minimal. 

The Google Pixel Tablet is the company’s first tablet with a built-in Tensor G2 chip. Some of its impressive features are Google AI, high-quality video calls, fast and smooth streaming, multitasking with split-screen, precise voice typing, and more. In addition, speculators say a Pixel tablet case in black will also be available. 

These speculators also conclude that Google will have this Google Pixel Tablet in this fourth color variant ready by the time the tablet is released this June 20th.

But the Google Pixel Tablets in Porcelain, Rose, and Hazel are now available for pre-order. The Google Pixel Tablet is releasing this June 20th in 11 countries, specifically in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, Australia, and Japan. Its pricing starts at $499 for the 128GB unit. Add $100 for the 256GB version, but this does not include the Rose color.
