2 sprigs of fresh rosemary

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce

1 minced shallot

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Dijon

3 minced cloves of garlic

Fresh ground black pepper and salt, to taste

6 skinless and boneless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped

Directions:

  1. Get a bowl and create a marinade. The marinade is composed of the following ingredients: rosemary, lemon juice, dijon, garlic, shallot, soy sauce, two tablespoons of olive oil, and maple syrup. After the composition is made into the marinade, season it with pepper and salt to bring taste.
  2. Marinate the chicken. Get any plastic bags or Ziploc bags conducive for marinating. The size of the bags should be proportionate to the marinade and the chicken. Put the marinade first into the bag, then the chicken. Best results can be achieved if the chicken will be marinated overnight. From time to time, turn the bag so that the marinade wouldn’t be concentrated on just one side. Drain once done. While draining, proceed to preheat the grill. Medium-high heat will do.
  3. Put the chicken on a plate or a tray. Start brushing it with olive oil with approximately one tablespoon, then don’t forget to season with pepper and salt.
  4. Place the chicken on the grill. Make sure to turn it side by side from time to time until it looks fully cooked. The ideal temperature should be 165 degrees Fahrenheit (estimated 10 minutes before it reaches this level of heat).
  5. Once it’s fully cooked, serve it as soon as possible. Garnish the Chicken with Rosemary.

Grilled Vegetable Platter

As in any other game night, you should always put a barbeque dish that’s made for vegans. I’m quite sure you have a small portion of a population of your friends that doesn’t eat meat which makes you required to serve a particular dish for them. That’s why grilled vegetables is a must.

Ingredients:

1 pound cherry tomatoes, stemmed
4 carrots, cut lengthwise in half
1 zucchini, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 yellow squash, cut into 1/2-inch slices
Wedge-cut of 1 red onion
1 pound of trimmed asparagus

Directions: 

  1. Once all the ingredients are prepared and cut appropriately, you can now begin with preheating the grill. The grill should be in medium-high heat.
  2. Mix the following in a bowl — olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dijon, honey, sage, garlic, rosemary, and parsley. Whisk these all together then season with pepper and salt.
  3. Once the mixture is made, slowly brush it into the veggies: tomatoes, asparagus, carrots, squash, zucchini, and red onion. Let the veggies sit in the mixture for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. After that, you may transfer the veggies to a grilling basket then transfer the same to the grill. Cook it, and don’t forget to turn it side by side occasionally. Wait till the veggies are charred lightly all over.
  5. Once fully cooked, you may serve it immediately. You may also drizzle it with the remaining marinade.

Beef Jerky

This could be one dish at the party that will stand out because this will exude the smoky taste most people would want at a game night. Here are the basic ingredients and simple steps when making beef jerky in a smoker.

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
2 pounds sirloin, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
1 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon cider vinegar

Directions: 

  1. Prepare a bowl. In the bowl, mix the following — ground black bell pepper, vinegar, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. After which, add the slices of meat into it, mix it well with the mixture then marinate. Best results will come if the meat slices are marinated overnight. Make sure to cover it and refrigerate.
  2. Prepare the outdoor smoker. It should be in low heat.  The grates should be lightly oiled.
  3. Prepare the meat strips and lay them out on the grill. Make sure not to make them overlap against each other. Smoke the strips into low heat. You will know it; it’s done if the edges appear dry and moist is seen in the centers. The whole process may take 6 to 8 hours.

After the process, you may serve it to your guests.

Flank steak with vegetables

Of course, your game night wouldn’t be complete without a steak. We recommend flank steak and vegetables to complement it.

INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoons canola oil, divided
2 zuchinni
1 pint cherry tomatoes
3 shucked corn
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 1/2 pounds flank steak
1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 minced cloves of garlic

FOR THE OLIVE OIL MIXTURE
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
2 minced cloves of garlic

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Prepare a bowl and whisk the following together: olive oil, red wine vinegar, rosemary, garlic, then season salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Now prepare the flank steak and season it with garlic and paprika. Rub it to all sides then season the steak with pepper and salt then brush canola oil into it.
  3. Set aside the seasoned flank steak and preheat the grill (medium-high)
  4. Get the veggies – corn, zucchini, and tomatoes. Brush it with the two tablespoons of canola oil that was left, then season it with pepper and salt.
  5. Now get the flank steak and put it on the grill. Cook till it’s done according to your desired level of doneness. About 4 to 6 minutes is required to let each side to be cooked. After that, let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. After the flank steak has rested, it’s time to grill the veggies. Wait till they’re lightly charred. Eight minutes for corn, 5 minutes for the zucchini, and 2 minutes for tomatoes.
  7. Once they’re properly cooked, they’re ready to be served to your guests. The Olive Mixture should then be drizzled all over the grilled products.

Grilled Peppers, Potatoes and Sausages

Lastly, you would want to have sausages and a mix of some hearty veggies along with it.

INGREDIENTS:
4 apple sausage and chicken
2 linguica sausage
4 andouille sausage
3 tablespoons olive oil
Kosher salt and ground pepper
1 pound mini bell peppers
4 bratwurst sausage
1 kielbasa sausage
1 pound baby potatoes

DIRECTIONS:

  1. First, preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. While preheating the grill, cook the potatoes. Prepare boiling water (salted) in a pot. Put the potatoes in it. Wait until it’s tender and parboiled. About 3 to 5 minutes should do the trick.
  3. Gather the veggies – potatoes and bell peppers. Brush those with olive oil then season the pepper and salt.
  4. Once all sausages and veggies are brushed thoroughly with oil and seasoned, put them now in a grill until it appears to be completely cooked. It’s 8 to 12 minutes for sausages, 4 to 5 minutes for potatoes, and 7 to 10 minutes for bell peppers
  5. Serve them immediately for the best taste.

Sony nearly shut down the digital shops for the PS3, PSP, and PS Vita earlier this year. Because of the enormous demand from the gaming community for digital platforms, Sony reversed its plan and opted to just close the PSP shop. While the shops on the PS Vita and PS3 are still open, Sony is going to make it more difficult to buy games on any device.

Sony confirmed in April that the PS3 and PS Vita shops will stay available indefinitely, which came as a comfort to many in the gaming industry. There are a handful of games in those game libraries that are not available for purchase on either the PS4 or the PS5. However, it appears that owners of the PS3 and PS Vita will no longer be able to purchase games with credit or debit cards.

Sony stated today that customers would no longer be able to purchase games or in-game stuff using a PayPal account or credit or debit cards as of October 27th. This isn’t to say that customers can’t still buy games on those platforms, but they will have to use PlayStation Store gift cards to buy content on the PS3 and PS Vita’s digital stores.

Trolli XBOX 20th Anniversary Bundle

Xbox just announced a limited-edition Trolli design for the Xbox Series S in an announcement. As part of the Xbox and Trolli collaboration, the console’s design includes contrasting pink and blue edges with a black stripe running down the center. There are also many of the trademark Trolli candy worms in the design.

Fans may enter to win this unique console by purchasing eligible Trolli goods and then redeeming the receipt for a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. They must then go to Trolli.com/Xbox and fill out the registration form to be eligible to win. In addition to the Xbox Series S, the prize package includes a Trolli-themed Xbox Wireless Controller and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

In addition to this limited-edition Xbox Series X package, some Trolli sweets will have special artwork based on famous Xbox franchises such as Halo Infinite, Sea of Thieves, Psychonauts 2, and Destiny 2. The Ghost Recon franchise is making a comeback, albeit in an unusual fashion. Ghost Recon Frontline, the next chapter in the Ghost Recon franchise, is effectively a Ghost Recon-flavored battle royale, though Ubisoft appears to be avoiding that particular word. Regardless, it appears that many fans are dissatisfied with this fresh take on the Ghost Recon brand, as the announcement trailer has been swamped with negative comments.

At the time of writing, the Ghost Recon Frontline reveal video had 4,000 dislikes to 972 likes, and the disparity is sure to grow. People are protesting about Ghost Recon Frontline, claiming that it is a battle royale game rather than a more conventional Ghost Recon experience, and criticizing Ubisoft for how it has managed the Tom Clancy license in recent years.

It doesn’t help that the most recent Ghost Recon game was also poorly regarded, so fans have been desperate for a high-quality entry in the series. Ghost Recon Wildlands had a devoted following, while Ghost Recon Breakpoint received mixed reviews from critics and fans alike, with many criticizing its approach to open-world architecture. Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s bad response may have also contributed to the game failing to reach Ubisoft’s sales projections.

Many fans appear to be dissatisfied with Ubisoft’s decision to transform most of its Tom Clancy-based brands into live service games, such as the unsuccessful Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad, which shut down after barely a year.

Many of the Ghost Recon Frontline dislikes stem from a disdain for live service games, however, it’s uncertain whether Ubisoft will ever abandon its present intentions to offer gaming experiences more in line with its earlier titles.

Not only do many fans want Ghost Recon to return to its roots, but they’ve also been clamoring for a new Splinter Cell game for years. Despite the fact that the previous main series Splinter Cell game was launched over a decade ago, a new Splinter Cell game has yet to be released.

Ghost Recon Frontline might always recover from this early criticism if the game turns out to be excellent, but it appears that many have already written it off without ever playing it. Ghost Recon Frontline testing will begin later this month, so we won’t have to wait long to find out if the game is worth a look.

James Bond 007 Cars Returning To Rocket League

In July, there was a Rocket League/James Bond crossover in which developer Psyonix included the famous Aston Martin DB5 featured in numerous Bond films. It was only available for a limited period, but Psyonix is conducting a second James Bond crossover in only a few days, barely three months later.

The Aston Martin Valhalla supercar will be sent to Rocket League this time. It is the first hybrid vehicle to be added to the game, with a mid-engined 950PS gasoline/battery electric powertrain.

It will also have its own set of cosmetics, including a Reel Life Decal, a one-of-a-kind Engine Audio, and its own set of wheels. These may be purchased for a total of 1100 credits, although Psyonix emphasizes that this package can only be fitted to the Aston Martin Valhalla. Furthermore, not every cosmetic item in the game is compatible with the automobile; however, those that are can be bought on a Rocket League item marketplace quite easily.

The crossover is more than just the automobile. Three in-game tasks may be completed, each of which awards a 007-themed reward. The Aston Martin DB5 Player Banner, the Agent 007 Avatar Border, and the “00 Agent” Player Title are the prizes.

Psyonix says that the Aston Martin DB5 will be added back for anyone who missed out on the previous James Bond crossover or just wasn’t able to unlock it. It will be included in the Bond 007 Collection, which will cost 2000 credits and includes both Bond vehicles and their associated cosmetics. This collection will only be available from the 7th to the 13th of October. Players can’t afford to rest on their laurels because there’s no assurance the automobiles will return in the future.

Finally, on Psyonix’s Twitch channel, a unique Agents vs. Villains event will take happening. It hasn’t revealed much about this one, other than the fact that it will include Rocket League community members and personalities.

Despite the fact that Psyonix never explicitly acknowledges it, this crossover is clearly intended to coincide with the recently released James Bond film, No Time to Die. Cary Joji Fukunaga (who also helmed the 2017 version of Stephen King’s It) directs the film, which sees Bond come out of retirement to aid the CIA and square battle against Rami Malek’s Lyutsifer Safin.

The film is already a critical and box financial triumph, and it is significant for being Craig’s final James Bond film. It is still uncertain who will fill the job in the near future.

Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Event Revealed By Square Enix

Kingdom Hearts, believe it or not, is over 20 years old, having first been launched on the PlayStation 2 in 2002. With the announcement of the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event, Square Enix is getting fans ready early.

Kingdom Hearts, an odd combination of Disney and Final Fantasy, remains one of gaming’s most successful series to this day. Although the series took a new path following Kingdom Hearts 2, with subsequent games published mostly on portable devices, forcing fans to wait 14 years for Kingdom Hearts 3, the series is still appreciated for its characters, engaging gameplay, and ambitious plot.

The story follows a little boy named Sora, who is whisked away from his home and plunged into the adventure of a lifetime when he discovers the magical Keyblade and befriends Disney legends Donald and Goofy. Sora has been confirmed as the final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate combatant.

Square Enix has officially announced the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Event in a new video. Unfortunately, Square Enix did not provide any further details regarding the event, such as its date or format, only stating in the video, “Details will come at a later date.”

The teaser, on the other hand, shows off the emblem for the 20th Anniversary celebration, which is packed with Kingdom Hearts symbolism. The ‘2’ is half of the standard Kingdom Hearts heart logo, with its tail merging into the tip of the Kingdom Key; the “0” is the entire Kingdom Hearts heart emblem, with the trademark crown above it.

Aside from the event, Square Enix shares some additional Kingdom Hearts-related announcements. For starters, it confirms that the Kingdom Hearts series will be arriving to Switch shortly, as previously revealed during the final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct.

Kingdom Hearts Union x Cross now includes an offline version in which players may view the full tale in Theater Mode, while Kingdom Hearts Dark Road’s last chapter will be released next winter. Unlike in the past, where chapter portions were published in stages, Square Enix is publishing it “in one go, all the way through to the finale,” implying that gamers would not have to wait long once it is launched.

What a fantastic moment to be a Kingdom Hearts fan: with Sora in Smash, the series coming to Switch, and everything more on the horizon, it’s been a great day for Kingdom Hearts news. While it’s fun to look back on the series’ past, it’s equally fascinating to look forward to what’s next, to speculate on what surprises are in store.

Kingdom Hearts 3 concluded the Dark Seeker narrative, and Melody of Memory depicts the cast attempting to figure out what perils lay ahead, so maybe this 20th Anniversary event will give insight on where the series is headed, if just as a look at the next project. If not, that’s OK too, because Kingdom Hearts III will almost certainly be ready for a Switch re-release by then.
