MiHoYo, the creator of Genshin Effect, has revealed more information about the latest weapons and events that will be included in the game’s 1.4 update. On March 17, 2021, Genshin Impact will receive its newest major update, which will include the addition of Rosaria to the game’s roster as well as the return of Venti and Tartaglia as characters that players can be summoned via their respective Event Wish banners.

The 1.4 update for Genshin Impact will feature another big in-game festival, similar to the Lantern Rite Festival from the 1.3 update, except this time in Mondstadt rather than Liyue. The Windblume Ode bow, an event-exclusive bow that grants characters more attack for a limited period while they use their elemental abilities, is the latest weapon that players will obtain by playing in the Windblume Festival games.

Aside from the Windblume Ode, the 1.4 update will also include the latest Epitome Invocation weapon event banner, including brand-new weapons such as the Elegy for the End, The Alley Flash, and Wine and Song.

The final 5-star bow Elegy of the End will be included in the new arms banner. When triggered, the new bow would improve the character’s elemental superiority and attack greatly. When a player strikes an enemy with a regular attack, the new 4-star Wine and Song catalyst lowers the amount of stamina sprinting absorbs while simultaneously increasing the character’s attack for a few seconds. Finally, The Alley Flash is a 4-star sword that enhances the player’s damage when the blade is equipped, but the effect is removed when the character takes damage.

Another new bow, the Alley Hunter, is due to be unveiled through the 1.4 update, but it will appear in a future arms banner, according to miHoYo, and no specifics on it have been posted yet. The Skyward Blade will also be included in the new arms flag, giving anyone who lost the first time around a greater shot this time.

The latest 5-star Elegy of the End is the most surprising of the new weapons, as it seems to have been designed especially for Venti. A new pack based on the famous battle royale game will include new Fortnite-themed Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and other goodies. Limited edition controllers aren’t necessarily new in the gaming community, but Joy-Cons have the extra advantage of being two controllers in one.

As a result, the console has some absolutely innovative and cool style configurations. Despite the various iterations of the dual-wielded accessory, Nintendo has yet to address Joy-Con drift’s ongoing issue.

Fortnite landed on the Switch in 2018, with ten million of the console’s 22 million owners downloading the hit game. Nintendo has also launched a Fortnite-themed Switch with yellow and blue Joy-Cons and pictures of heads that players will wear in-game adorning the dock and Switch body.

It would be remiss not to mention that, like most battle royale games, the game does not work well on the Switch. It lacks the graphical quality and consistent framerate that other platforms can achieve, which makes competitive play that much more difficult.

The Fortnite Fleet Force Bundle is the name of the latest Joy-Con bundle. It has a blue left Joy-Con and a yellow right Joy-Con, all of which feature exclusive banana imagery from the video game. Nintendo’s limited editions are generally of high quality, as shown by the Animal Crossing: New Horizons version of the Nintendo Switch released last year. Over the past four and a half months, Watch Dogs Legion has been available for purchase. Many players will be through with Watch Dogs Legion’s plot in that amount of time, so the multiplayer will focus on the remaining players.

Even well-known games like Watch Dogs Legion will suffer from dwindling multiplayer player bases, particularly if there is no cross-play and each platform is an island. Ubisoft has responded by stating that it intends to release support for cross-play and cross-gen in the future.

The clarification didn’t come in the form of a press release or a big revelation. Rather, it was an answer to a Twitter post. A Watch Dogs Legion player asked the game’s official Twitter account to allow cross-platform multiplayer. According to the official Watch Dogs Legion account, the development team is planning on integrating cross-play and cross-gen at a later date.

There is no further detail about the planned update; all that is confirmed is that both features are being worked on. At the very least, knowing that they’re in the works is preferable to them being only planned on paper.

The lack of a release date, on the other hand, could mean that the Watch Dogs Legion update could take weeks or months to arrive. The fact that it was discovered in an off-handed Twitter joke clearly suggests the former.

It’s also likely that Ubisoft is already weighing whether or not to include these features in Watch Dogs Legion and needs to gauge player reaction. Watch Dogs Legion offers a wide range of multiplayer options, including cooperative and competitive play. They can’t compete with players on competitive systems, and they can’t play with players who have switched to a next-gen console.

Ubisoft likely runs out of time to add more content to Watch Dogs Legion’s multiplayer or that it wasn’t ready for the launch of next-gen consoles. Regardless, the features will hopefully be included in Watch Dogs Legion and other forthcoming Ubisoft games before their launch.

WWE Undefeated, a new WWE mobile game, was released late last year on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Instead of attempting to be a professional wrestling simulator, WWE Undefeated plays much like a conventional video game featuring characters from the WWE roster, both past, and current. Since its launch, WWE Undefeated has undergone a series of updates, the most recent of which was the addition of Mankind to the roster.

In the most recent update to WWE Undefeated, Mankind was added to the list. Fans will note that Mankind’s move set in WWE Undefeated incorporates some of the moves he was known for doing in WWE, such as the piledriver and the Mandible Claw, which he used to end matches. Mankind is featured in a new video for WWE Undefeated, which sees him against some of the other wrestlers on the roster.

The WWE Undefeated Mankind trailer is intriguing because it features him fighting wrestlers that he was known to face during the Attitude Era. This includes “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Triple H, one of his main rivals.
