New Conan Exiles Update Now Allows Single Player Offline Play

Conan Exiles has received a new upgrade. Offline play is now available in Update 2.3, allowing you to fully discover the expansive world of the Exiled Lands on your own. There’s also a new gameplay feature, as well as changes to the way the Isle of Siptah runs.

How Does It Work?

If you start a game of Conan Exiles without an internet link or drop your connection while playing after installing the upgrade, you’ll be able to play offline. If you’re in offline mode, a note will appear in the bottom-right corner of the phone, letting you know if your link declines. You can now take on Conan Exiles’ many challenges on your own if you haven’t been able to locate a good online raiding team.

In Conan Exiles, you’ll even find a slew of new NPC camps on the Isle of Siptah. These updates will have an effect on the area’s landscape, so if you have a camp on Siptah, make sure to read the devs’ blog post to see if it will be affected. Three groups have formed camps in Siptah: the Stygian Mercenaries, Black Corsairs, and Accursed, each of which would enable you to participate in new events. Among other things, you can free thralls to join you, earn powerful buffs, and engage with new vendors. Make your way to Siptah and take a look around.

How To Play Single Player Offline?

Conan Exiles is a gritty open-world survival RPG with an emphasis on cooperative multiplayer. There is, however, a way to play the game alone if you don’t want to share the experience with 40 other people. If you’re not sure how to play Conan Exiles offline single-player, here’s how.

Conan Exile is a multiplayer game, but it can also be played alone — and we’re not only talking about the new single-player campaign. However, since this mode requires a mod on PC, it’s much simpler to set up on console.

On the PS4 or Xbox One, selecting single-player, running through the character collection choices, and then the game will inquire whether you want to play co-op or offline right before the campaign begins is all it takes. When you load the save, it can do this over and over again, so keep single-player in mind.

Things get a little more complex with only one PC. You’ll need a mod built specifically for this function. Unfortunately, it is no longer available in the Steam Workshop. But have no fear: one Reddit user has kindly provided not only a connection but also detailed guidance on how to install it.

Other Updates

Aside from these updates, there are a slew of additional gameplay modes and tweaks. When it’s time to put down an enemy, a sprint attack has been introduced so you don’t have to kill the momentum. Purges can now be applied to villages and towns, and these purges can result in thralls, much like the current camps on the Isle of Siptah. Vaults, floods, and surges can now be enjoyed individually rather than being chained together.
