Pokémon 25: The Album, which celebrates the beloved franchise’s 25th anniversary, will have a listening party, according to Capitol Productions. The monster collection series began as a video game in 1996 and has since expanded to encompass animated shows, live-action films, a trading card game, and more.
Many fans and developers have paid tribute to the Pokémon franchise in celebration of its 25th anniversary throughout 2021, but Pokémon 25: The Album may be the most unique initiative of the year.
The Pokémon franchise has a huge fan following all around the world, and this fan base obviously includes a lot of well-known celebrities. Some of the world’s most well-known singers and performers came together for Pokémon 25: The Album to add their own tributes to the franchise.
Katy Perry, Post Malone, and J Balvin are among the names on the bill, resulting in a diverse selection of genres and styles for listeners to enjoy. J Balvin, for example, had Pikachu and Charizard appear in his music video for “Ten Cuidado,” which was released on the same day as the album. In the video, the Colombian rapper transforms into a Pokémon Trainer before taking to the streets to battle the famed pocket monsters.
The year 2021 has been filled with Pokémon anniversary celebrations, but Pokémon 25: The Album is undoubtedly the year’s most unusual tribute. The CD featured an outstanding lineup of well-known performers, each of which wrote songs about their love for and adoration for the series.
While the album is already available to listen to, a listening party is a terrific way for listeners to share their enjoyment of the music.
