Crunchyroll Games, in collaboration with developer Cygames, will be releasing Princess Connect! Re: Dive worldwide. In celebration of this exciting news, there is currently an ongoing pre-registration period that features a variety of rewards.
For those who don’t know, Crunchyroll Games is the in-house publisher for Crunchyroll, which is a highly-renowned anime streaming platform. On the other hand, Cygames is also a popular developer, known for creating games such as Granblue Fantasy Versus and Shadowverse.
Princess Connect! Re: Dive, for those who don’t know, is a mobile-exclusive Japanese role-playing video game. Even though it’s a sequel to 2015’s Princess Connect!, it garnered more attention and success than the original title, so much so that it became a significant game in the Japanese mobile gaming industry.
As a matter of fact, its success even led to the release of an anime series based on the game, which was aired earlier in the year.
Like many mobile games these days, Princess Connect! Re: Dive happens to utilize a gacha system, which is a video game genre that many are more familiar with as of late given the rapid success of online multiplayer titles such as Genshin Impact.

As mentioned, Princess Connect! Re: Dive currently has an ongoing pre-registration campaign. There are different tiers to these rewards, depending on the number of pre-registrations. The lowest tier is 10,000 pre-registrations, which guarantees 150 jewels (in-game currency). On the other hand, reaching 200,000 pre-registrations guarantees 1,500 jewels.
Crunchyroll Games and Cygames will be releasing Princess Connect! Re: Dive on both Android and iOS mobile devices. This is to be expected though, given the fact that it is already available on those two platforms in the regions where the game has already been released.
The popularity of games such as Genshin Impact has definitely played a huge part in introducing the concept of gacha systems to unfamiliar players. Those who got the chance to play Princess Connect! Re: Dive also praise it for having smooth, in-game animations as well as the fact that it’s not stingy when it comes to the game’s premium currency.
