The most recent case in Pokémon Sword and Shield filled the Wild Area with Pokémon, allowing players to grab a Shiny Wooloo. Shiny searching is one of the most time-consuming activities in Pokémon Sword and Shield, and those who want a Shiny living Pokédex always have endless hours of tedium ahead of them. As a result, any respite they may get from activities that raise Pokémon’s presence and/or Shiny rates is normally welcomed.
In the past, the Pokémon Company has thrown a bone to fans by handing away Shiny Pokémon through codes and online distribution events. This was particularly true during the Nintendo 3DS period, and people who bought all of the games from Pokémon X and Y to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are likely to have a lot more Shiny Pokémon than previous generations, including Shiny Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.

A new event is active in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Wild Region, according to Serebii.net, and it offers players a better chance of capturing Shiny Wooloo. The competition is currently underway and will conclude on May 23. Wooloo’s Shiny clone is one of the most sought-after Shiny Pokémon in Generation 8. As luck would have it, players who spent hours digging the grass for a single black sheep at the start of Pokémon Sword and Shield probably shouldn’t have bothered.
Wooloo and its descendant, Dubwool, have also attended the gathering. They can be battled in the Wild Area’s Pokémon Dens. Players who can locate a five-star Max Raid Battle against a Wooloo would have a 2% chance of catching a Shiny variant, exclusive to all trainers participating in the battle.
Shiny Wooloo is so valuable that it reverses the colors of the original Wooloo, making it into the Pokémon franchise’s black sheep. Some Pokémon are known for their dreadful Shiny color scheme or minute shifts in size, but those who stand out are highly sought after by Shiny hunters.
Shiny Wooloo has a neat and distinct appearance, which is why many players want to grab one at the start of their Galar quest since they want their black sheep to face all of the Gym Leaders before taking on the invincible Leon. Pokémon Sword and Shield have been out for a bit, but Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be out later this year, and when they do, then the Sinnoh area will be overrun by hordes of exchanged Shiny Wooloo.
