The most recent DC FanDome teaser provides a brief glimpse of footage from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which will be shown in a special screening during the daylong event. WB and DC have announced that the Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights games will be showcased at the DC FanDome in late August. In the weeks since notable teasers for both games have circulated online.
WB Games Montréal, for example, released new Gotham Knights key art in early September, including a glimpse of the heroes in charge of defending Gotham in Batman’s absence. A few weeks later, Rocksteady released new Kill the Justice League artwork, including a cast portrait of the four major characters – King Shark, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot – standing front and center.

And, on October 6, the Gotham Knights Twitter account published an in-universe newspaper piece about the strange circumstances behind Batman’s tragic demise. With the DC FanDome just over a week away, it’s no surprise that WB has released yet another teaser film to create anticipation.
The official Twitter page for The Batman has posted a new DC FanDome teaser, which includes footage from the film Superman and Lois and numerous other DC-branded films and TV series. The minute-long movie also consists of a few unique scenes from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Task Force X may be seen firing a barrage of rounds at something off-screen at the 10-second mark (probably the Man of Steel). This video was not included in the Kill the Justice League announcement trailer, which aired at the DC FanDome’s August 2020 digital event. The quartet reappears at 33 seconds into the new video, posing in a way similar to the aforementioned key art.

What Rocksteady and WB want to demonstrate of the highly anticipated Suicide Squad game is currently unknown. However, the footage in the above teaser implies that DC FanDome fans may expect to experience gaming this time around.
Following the game’s announcement last summer, Rocksteady announced that it would take place in the same universe as its critically successful Batman: Arkham franchise. However, the conclusion of Batman: Arkham Knight means that a specific vigilante will no longer be there to keep the Squad members and their supervisor, Amanda Waller, accountable.
