The first season of Call of Duty Warzone is launching on December 16, incorporating the battle royale with Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and introducing massive new content into the game. While Warzone players have a lot to look forward to when the new season begins, there is even more coming all throughout the season which will include a new vehicle that players will be able to utilize on both Rebirth Island and Verdansk.
It has been confirmed that the developers are going to add an Attack Helicopter to Warzone at some point during the first season. The Attack Helicopter will function similarly to the regular helicopter but will have two miniguns that can be operated by passengers. This will definitely be making helicopters considerably more dangerous than they currently are in Warzone, and might surely shake up the met in a huge way.
It’s uncertain when the developers will be adding the Attack Helicopter, but it could be arriving as part of the mid-season refresh. Considering the developers stick to the usual pattern that was organized when it was tied to Call of Duty Modern Warfare, players can expect another massive content drop about halfway through the season that will add even more new content to the ever-growing experience.
The Attack Helicopter is the only new vehicle confirmed for the first season of Call of Duty Warzone so far. Meanwhile, players of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War can expect a new vehicle of their own. The developers have confirmed that the Tactical Raft is coming to the game at some point during its first season, with the vehicle first appearing on the new map, Sanatorium.

The Black Ops Cold War new map is a part of a colossal-scale Fireteam game mode, which has a similar style to Warzone. There are speculations that the developers might be trying to integrate different Black Ops Cold War Fireteam maps together to make a new battle royale map at some point, and if this is true, it would be logical that vehicles such as the Tactical Raft would be available on it. However, players shouldn’t automatically expect to see it make its way to Rebirth Island or Verdansk.
More details on the Call of Duty Warzone Attack Helicopter will be revealed later in the season. For now, players can take advantage of the double XP event in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War so they can level up a few weapons that will soon be added to Warzone as the first season arrives on December 16, 2020.
