It was leaked a few months ago that a Venom skin was going to be added in Fortnite, and now it appears that Epic Games has made things official. Venom is officially coming to the free-to-play battle royale along with the announcement of the next Marvel Knockout Super Series tournament.
Fortnite players are used to the game hosting a bunch of tournaments in celebration of new skins. For instance, there was previously a Black Widow Cup, Daredevil Cup, as well as a Ghost Rider Cup. The winning teams get rewarded with cosmetics for the respective Marvel hero.
This time around, players can participate in a Marvel Knockout Duos Venom Cup this November 18 if they want to get their hands on the new Venom skin, among other cosmetics.
For this Cup, participating teams will be able to take part in two sessions when the tournament begins. Each session will consist of ten matches at most, and the teams’ scores will be based on how long they survive the session and their match placement.
That being said, you will need to keep in mind that there are a few requirements if you want to join the Venom Cup with your team. Although, those who have participated in Fortnite’s tournaments before are probably already aware of this fact.
Key Info:
→ Lifetime account level 30 or higher
→ Account must have 2FA on
→ Full party must meet the above requirements as well.Reminder: Any player who participates in all four cups will unlock the free Nexus War Glider for participating in the full series!

If you want to join the tournament, then you need to ensure that you have a lifetime account level of 30 or higher. In addition to that, enabling two-factor authentication is one of the requirements.
Based on how well you do on the Venom Cup and where your region is, you have the potential to win a “We are Venom” emote, the Venom skin, a Tendril Tote back-bling, as well as a Symbiote Slasher pickaxe.
For instance, the top 350 ranked teams in Europe during the first match will be the ones to win the prizes. On the next session, however, those within the top 1200 ranked teams will be the ones to win the prizes.
That being said, those who joined the three previous Cups for Ghost Rider, Black Widow, and Daredevil will receive a Nexus War glider for just participating in this tournament.
For those who don’t plan on competing in the Venom Cup or don’t place during the competition, then there’s no need to worry because there’s still another way to obtain the Venom cosmetics. Namely, Fortnite will be releasing the skin on the in-game shop some time this month.
Fortnite will be hosting other events this month asides from the Venom Cup though, so players have a lot to look forward to. The other tournament in question will take place this November 21, and participants will be given the opportunity to “earn a share of $1,000,000 in cash prizes.”
This tournament will have the same requirements as the Venom Cup, but they won’t have the same kind of matches. If you’re interested in checking out the $1M Super Cup when it begins, Fortnite will be streaming the matches on its official Twitch and YouTube channels.
It appears that November is turning out to be a fun, activity-filled month for Fortnite players. Venom will be joining Doctor Doom and Mystique, increasing the number of Marvel villains currently available in Fortnite.
