It’s about time for another “Hogwarts Legacy” walkthrough, and today, it will be for the Ghost of Our Love side quest. Unlike other “Hogwarts Legacy” quests discussed on this website, Ghost of Our Love is relatively easy to finish. So, without further ado, here’s the complete guide to this quest.
The Ghost Of Our Love Side Quest
Ghost of Our Love is slightly different because your actions here will depend on which House you get started with in the game. Gryffindors, Slytherins, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs will all begin in a distinct location. But the goal will be the same: Everybody should find the location on the map.
This map features an image of a bridge with some floating candles nearby and an archway in the background. Though this side quest is easy to take, if there’s one thing difficult about it, it’s finding that specific spot, as there are a lot of similar areas throughout the game. Allow us to help.
Triggering The Quest
To trigger the Ghost of Our Love side quest, ensure you have progressed through the main quests until you get an owl to trigger the quest corresponding to your House.
Required Quests
Each House has a required quest that triggers the Ghost of Our Love side quest. There are also different starting locations.
- For Gryffindor, the quest is The Hunt for the Missing Pages.
- For Slytherin, it’s Scrope’s Last Hope.
- For Ravenclaw, the quest is Ollivander’s Heirloom.
- For Hufflepuff, it’s Prisoner of Love.
Starting Locations
Depending on your House, you should be in the appropriate starting location.
- For Gryffindor, the starting location is Hogsmeade.
- For Slytherin, it’s the Squid cave beneath Hogwarts.
- For Ravenclaw, it’s the Owlery.
- For Hufflepuff, it’s the Vault near Upper Hogsfield.
Location Of The Floating Candles
Now you know the prerequisites, it is time to learn how to complete this side quest.
- Launch this quest by inspecting the map depending on your House’s respective starting point.
- Afterward, teleport to the Forbidden Forest floo flame, which is located north of Hogwarts Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
- You will see a bridge ahead of you. Walk across it, then switch the time of day to night.
- To do this, open the map and press down on the right analog stick on your console or the “F” button on your PC keyboard.
- Then, cast the Lumos spell before walking back across the same bridge earlier. You should be heading to the Forbidden Forest. The floating candles should spawn at this moment and lead you to the Forest.
- Simply follow the floating candles until they reveal a chest over a hill.
- Collect your rewards! You’re done with the Ghost of Our Love side quest.
