Despite being different from typical BNE fighters like Tekken 7, Soul Calibur 6, or Dragon Ball FighterZ, Bandai Namco’s Jump Force, created by Spike Chunsoft, has become a hit with fans. Jump Force is an arena-based anime fighter released in February 2019 to celebrate Shonen Jump’s 50th anniversary. It features a roster of characters from various Shonen Jump series.
Jump Force received mixed feedback when released in 2018, with reviewers pointing to the game’s plot as a specific flaw. Despite this, Spike Chunsoft, the game’s creator, has continued to promote Jump Force with two DLC character passes, which incorporate 14 fan favourites from the Weekly Shounen Jump manga series.

Todoroki from My Hero Academia, Meruem from Hunter x Hunter, Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho, and most recently Yoruichi from Bleach are all part of Jump Force’s second season of DLC. The season’s final character, Giorno Giovanna from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, was previously revealed. Bandai Namco has released screenshots of the Golden Wind protagonist in the weeks leading up to Giorno’s anticipated release date.
The screenshots depict Giorno’s gameplay and his Stand, Gold Experience Requiem, as well as how Giorno is supposed to be handled in Jump Power. Giorno’s stand, who plays the part of the puppet archetype in a combat game, fights with several of Jojo’s visual cues, such as fast-paced attacks and over-the-top effects conveyed by screenshots.
Seto Kiba from Yu-Gi-Oh, Naruto’s Gaara, and Rurouni Kenshin’s Makoto Shishio from Rurouni Kenshin fight Giorno Giovanna and Gold Experience Requiem in the teaser. About the fact that the trailer is in Japanese, fans of Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure should be able to grasp the talents and skills shown. Following Bleach’s Yoruichi Shihouin’s return to the game in January 2021, Giorno Giovanna is the 14th DLC player to join the roster, and he appears to be the last.
The Yoruichi trailer was Bandai Namco’s most recent Jump Force trailer, which led to rumors about Giorno’s gameplay. Modders previously had access to a very early build of Giovanna alongside Yoruichi late last year, with the words “early build” being the main words since his appearance seemed to be severely lacking in comparison to the rest of the cast. Following the screenshots, a teaser for Giorno is expected shortly, so Jojo fans won’t have to wait long to play GioGio himself.
Character Pass 3 is, however, still a probability. Spike Chunsoft also produced Dragon Ball FighterZ, which recently completed its third character pack with the addition of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta to the franchise. We will see more content added to the game if Jump Force fans want it.
