The debate on which the best “Harry Potter” book is among Harry Potter fans is as competitive as the Houses of Hogwarts for House Points or the Triwizard Tournament. If there’s one thing that can break the unity among avid fans, it has to be that question.

For others who are into books more than movies, their choice of which is the best Harry Potter book isn’t the same as their choice of the best “Harry Potter” movie, and conversely. So, let’s ask the Potterhead for a consensus about which book they think is the best.

The Best ‘Harry Potter’ Book Is…

…”Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” Published in 2005, this book is the sixth novel in the “Harry Potter” series. The events here occur during Potter’s sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 

It is well-loved by readers because it is in this book that Hogwarts Headmaster Professor Albus Dumbledore was killed by Professor Severus Snape. This novel also reveals events from the early life of the ultimate villain, Lord Voldemort, and chronicles the hero’s preparations for the final battle against this evil Lord. Joe Grantham of Game Rant believes this is the best Harry Potter book of all.

In Second Place: ‘Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban’

True enough, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” comes in second place. Whether the author, J. K. Rowling, was just in the mood when she wrote this book, or it was just the turn of the moment, Potterheads love this third installment.

Here, you won’t just get to know witches and wizards who got imprisoned in Azkaban, but you’ll also follow the adventures and misadventures of the trio in their third year in Hogwarts. Filled with spirit buses, Dementors, and more, the book’s story investigates Sirius Black, Potter’s godfather, a former prisoner in Azkaban and known to be one of the strongest allies of Voldemort. 

Potterheads rank this book second because of its dark tones, deeper character development, compelling mysteries around Black, new characters like Lupin, and time-traveling plot, all while showcasing mature aesthetics.

‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’

Surprise, surprise, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” is in third place. This is the last installment in the main Harry Potter book series, so it’s got to be the best. However, personally, the previous installments have overshadowed this book. Perhaps Rowling was having separation anxiety with her work? Maybe. 

“Deathly Hallows” features the final bout between Harry Potter and his allies, and the Dark Lord. Despite those criticisms, several fans love the book and its two-part movie version.

‘Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire’

Would you agree that “Goblet of Fire” is just in fourth place, overshadowed by “Deathly Hallows.” PVP Live doesn’t, as it’s a buffet of action-packed adventures that will take you to the edge of your seats. 

For one, this book is about the Triwizard Tournament, wherein Hogwarts’ students met students from other wizarding universities in Europe, such as France and Scandinavia. But, their good bonding moments won’t last long as they will actually be pitted against each other. Read the book to find out.

‘Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix’

Also a point of contestation, as this fifth installment should come before the last book. Potterheads love this book for making a gravity-defying shift from the themes of the fourth book to those with darker tones, showcasing complex character development, specifically the angst of Potter, and introducing memorable characters you will love and hate, such as Luna Lovegood and Dolores Umbridge.

‘Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets’

We couldn’t blame Rowling for writing her first and second “Harry Potter” books only to be ranked low on this list. As you will notice, she may just be warming up writing the first two books, introducing common themes of wizardry and magic as what’s found in other children’s books with these themes – until she wrote maybe the third book.

In “Chamber of Secrets,” you will journey across Potter’s second year in Hogwarts, the moment he missed the train but instead rode a flying car with Ron Weasley, the gigantic snake, the charming yet evil Dark Arts professor, and more. 

‘Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone’

Last on the ranking is “Sorcerer’s Stone,” and its placement here is quite expected. It gave a proper introduction to what would become a phenomenal franchise and media – spanning movies, merchandise, and even theme parks – but it was lacking because you can quickly notice it was primarily written for children. There was minimal action.

Nonetheless, the joys of experiencing Hogwarts for the first time can never be replicated. Mean, moving staircases, owls, and Potter discovering he’s a wizard, plus more. Fun times, indeed.

Now, because of the readers’ demand, Rowling and her team did not end the book series with just “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” There were “spinoffs” that came after, one of which was the “Fantastic Beasts” series, which was also turned into a movie. Also on this ranking are the installments:

‘Quidditch Through The Ages’

The Quidditch sport is among the most interesting parts of the series, and this book explores more about it. There are so many things happening here. First, Rowling used a pseudonym to stand as the author of this book, who is a sports commentary of some sort. Second, like “Fantastic Beasts,” this book was a book Hermione Granger read in the main “Harry Potter” story before she learned how to fly. 

‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is a book that Hogwarts students are required to read. Written by magizoologist Newt Scamander, who is also the story’s main character, the book tells about the history of the art and science of magizoology, accompanied by illustrations detailing 85 magical creatures from around the Wizarding World. It’s fun, it’s quirky, it’s witty… it’s a must-read.

The last spot belongs to “The Tales of Beedle the Bard.” It’s the least favored Harry Potter book among Potterheads simply because it is even more childish than “Philosopher’s Stone.” Nevertheless, if you really want to become a genuine Potterhead, you will read this.

A More In-Depth Look Into The Endings Of ‘Cyberpunk 2077’

When you hear about the multiple endings of “Cyberpunk 2077,” the world’s favorite action role-playing video game, you will set aside the more popular and thrilling games that only have one, two, or a small number of endings. 

Yes, “Cyberpunk 2077” technically has a whopping seven endings you can explore. And each has their personality. Here’s a closer look at every ending of this RPG video game. 

1. The Sun Ending 

This ending is touted as the best of the rest. The Sun requires you to go infiltrate Arasaka Tower with the help of Rogue Amendiares, then leave as V (no, not V from the BTS band) at the end. Once this task is complete, you will wake up as a Night City legend and even have your own incredible penthouse.   

Now, this ending will end up in space with V, who will perform a data collection heist for a big casino. That’s a fantastic ending in itself, but it is unlikely you will see the outcome. There are weaknesses here, but if you want to be legendary, just as you are in “GTA,” you will try this ending.

2. The Tower Ending

This is the ending of the Phantom Liberty downloadable content, which is an extra to the core game. You will acquire this with half of the endings of Phantom Liberty, but this involves you finally getting a cure. However, you can no longer use your cybernetic abilities. 

Returning to your previous life is beyond question, so you must start fresh. It’s not a bad ending, but it is actually a fresh beginning for V. You will even see him smirking in the closing scenes. If there’s a game that will remind you of this, it’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” we promise. 

3. The Temperance Ending

Now, there are two distinct ways to get this ending. You can either ask for the help of the gorgeous Panam Palmer or Amendiares, but the goal is to leave Johnny Silverhand at the end. This essential offers Johnny a second life you can live, nicely wrapping up his amazing story. However, brace yourself for the lengthy conclusion since you must visit several crucial areas before the last zoom-out, yet still satisfying. 

Note, though, that if you are playing favorites and dislike Silverhand from the beginning, you won’t like this ending, but otherwise, you will love it, especially that banter with V. 

4. The Star Ending

Then, you’ve got the Star Ending. It’s the most satisfying if you are after romance, and the last scene itself is a romantic getaway. But, before this, you must finish Panam’s questline first before you can seek help for the final countdown. 

In this ending, you will leave as V, then that’s the time the Star ending will commence. You’ll ride off into the sunset, leaving the Night City with your romantic interest. It is very satisfying and offers a nice Hollywood feel. It’s still not the best ending, but as a famous beauty brand, the favorite of your friend, would say, still worth it.

5. The Secret Ending

No, no, it’s not like the ending of your favorite superhero movie, but the Secret Ending is a totally terrific fantasy, provided you are good at waiting. You’ll whisk yourself away, breaking into Arasaka Tower through the front of the game, like Neo from The Matrix. 

Out of all the “Cyberpunk 2077” endings here, this is the most challenging mission, so be sure to bring your weapons into the scene and complete as much as you can in preparation. Do not die because it’s game over, and the credits will roll automatically, making it even harder. There are disappointments, but they are excusable.

6. The Devil Ending

Bleak is the best term to describe the Devil Ending. You will go along the side of Arasaka here, and then to a space station distant and isolated you will go mad. Then, you can choose whether to spend your last six months on Earth or merge your engram. The bleakness of the ending is what makes it compelling to the point you will regret the choices you are making. Then, there’s the issue of V looking so dumb and Arasaka being portrayed as a village for almost the entire plot. 

7. The Past Of Least Resistance Ending

The least preferred ending, the Path of Least Resistance in “2077’ (pun intended), will have you end up on the rooftop of new-age spiritualist Misty Olszewski. Apart from being not the best, it also leaves several plot threads unresolved. 

Quickly, the worst ending available in Cyberpunk is the Path of Least Resistance. Instead of entering Arasaka Tower for the big climatic finale like every other ending, you simply end it all on.

Moreover, the final boss of Adam Smasher fits the story perfectly since he is a really built-up villain. But gamers dislike it because it seems to have no resolution. There is no achievement, and it’s plain boring. 

Those are all the endings in “Cyberpunk 2077.” However, accessing those endings is not similar to entering a shop in the mall where the door is open for you. You must complete as many Side Jobs as possible, have a good relationship with Silverhand, follow the side quest with Rogue, and then go back to Silverhand to be nice to him. These are not the only prerequisites, such as completing the expansion and others.

Digesting The Twisted Ending Of The 2018 Horror Film, ‘Hereditary’

Around half a decade ago, what movie enthusiasts considered among the scariest and, at the same time, one of the most creative films ever produced recently, premiered. Sure, when you think of must-have horror movies, you’ll think of “The Exorcist,” “The Shining,” “American Psycho,” and “It,” among others. But there’s a film that has won the goose-bumping hearts of audiences, “Hereditary.” Let’s continue the PVP Live cycle of ending reviews with this film. 

‘Hereditary’ Movie Overview

“Hereditary” is an American psychological horror flick written and directed by Ari Aster, who also previously worked on film projects such as “The Strange Thing About the Johnsons,” “Midsommar,” and “Beau is Afraid,” but it was “Hereditary” that catapulted him to fame. 

This movie follows the story of a grieving family tormented by sinister and chilly occurrences after the passing away of the family’s matriarch, their grandmother. See the film to find out more. 

It stars talented artists such as Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Gabriel Byrne, Ann Dowd, Mallory Bechtel, and more. 

What Happened In The Ending Of ‘Hereditary’?

If there’s one word to describe the ending of “Hereditary,” it is that it is twisted. It starts with Joan confronting Peter outside his school as she tries to expel his spirit from the demon king’s body. Soon after, it becomes clear that he has been possessed. 

Meanwhile, as those happen, Annie once again wants to burn Charlie’s sketchbook, yet she cannot be able to do it. So, she tries to convince her hubby, Steve, to throw the book into the fireplace, yet he refuses, so she chooses to sling it in nonetheless, but Steve immediately goes aflame and perishes.  

Then, Peter eventually finds out his dad’s corpse and the family’s home have been overtaken by naked coven members, with a possessed Annie chasing him. 

He reaches the attic and watches as his mom beheads herself before jumping out of the window. Waking up, he makes his way to the treehouse of Charlie, where the coven members dance around along with the headless corpses of his mom and grandmom.

Peter is then crowned and called King, with him being the demon’s male body. The naked coven hails him as their ruler just because he is a man.

Explaining The Ending

Clearly, the ending may be horrific, but it is artistically done. It reveals the triumph of the cult’s manipulation to summon the demon Paimon, who is looking for a male host. Simultaneously, Annie’s family is doomed by her mom’s involvement in that cult. 

As discussed above, these tragedies, including Charlie’s beheading and Annie’s perishing to madness, are orchestrated to prepare Peter as the vessel of the demon. The last scene, where you see Peter’s coronation, symbolizes the full circle of the ritual. It shows the family’s suffering in the weirdest ways after the matriarch’s death and is twisted because it subverts expectations. “Hereditary” is available to stream on Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV.

Believe it or not, “Roblox” and “Pokémon” are somewhat best buddies when it comes to gaming. There seems to be a partnership between the two, especially since the Pokémon games on “Roblox” literally have the Pokémon branding. It’s not like “Roblox’s” own version of Pikachu, but how Pikachu officially looks like. Without further ado, here are the best “Pokémon ”games to play on “Roblox” today. 

1. ‘Pokémon Brick Bronze’

The best “Pokémon” video game on “Roblox” right now is hands-down “Pokémon Brick Bronze.” It is considered the game’s premier “Pokémon”-themed game. Some players call it the real deal. It is a highly addictive video game that offers gamers a vast world to explore, with battle mechanics almost identical to those in the more official Pokémon video games. The cover art has the actual look of Pikachu, though the look of the owners, like Ash, are altered. Progressing through the game, you can earn badges and collect more experiences, which you can showcase as achievements on your profile. 

2. ‘Loomian Legacy’

It is interesting how “Loomian Legacy” tops the list of some gaming media when, in fact, it isn’t technically a “Pokémon” game. Rather, it is considered the natural successor to the throne of “Brick Bronze.” You can regard this game as a Pokémon re-skin that tackles its own direction. 

This video game features creatures you can encounter in the wild, which you can capture to catch every type of Pokémon out there. Meanwhile, this “Roblox” game succeeds in covering all beloved features of Nintendo video games, including a leveling system known as PokéDex, as well as every familiar face from handheld games. Launched in 2016, this game emerged quickly as a strong competitor in the gaming market of “Pokémon” and “Roblox.” This game consistently offers several servers available and updates its content with rich media to enhance your overall gameplay regularly.

“Pokémon Legends” cannot topple “Brick Bronze” in terms of everything, but it is on this list since it is the longest-standing Roblox game inspired by “Pokémon.” Offering expansive and rich gaming environments yours to explore, all the while presenting extensive content and types taking cues from the Japanese anime media, this video game lets you enjoy role-playing modes, too, as well as treasure spawns and regular events exclusively hosted by the “Legends” creator. 

6. ‘Project: Pokémon’

Make no mistake because Bloxymon is not the name of an official pocket monster, but a “Roblox”-created Pokémon. This role-playing game allows you to catch Bloxymon and then upgrade and evolve it. The map is so vast, and there are several quests to complete. Players can likewise fight against each other to become the next best Pokémon Trainer. 

Also, the video game appears to tackle its direction precisely because it is a reskinned Pokémon game. However, it retains some features of actual “Pokémon” video games. This will also make you feel right at home about its original creature choices and map design.

9. ‘Legends Of Space’

Again, this isn’t a Roblox-Pokémon game with the name “Pokémon.” Yet, it is still incredibly fun. Don’t mind the name since once you are immersed in this video game, you can recognize several “Pokémon” generations. The title is just a distraction like many other “Pokémon” games. 10. ‘Project Polaro’

“Project Polaro” is another game that features Pokémons in their actual looks. You can tour various cities like Viridian City and look for your pocket monster. 

There are also Trainer Battles and gyms to beat, Badges to unlock for your Pokédex, and more. Thrilling at that.

You cannot miss these “Pokémon” games on “Roblox.” While there isn’t really an official tie-up between the popular anime franchise and the video game, since “Roblox” games are created by the community, they can make games depending on their creativity. 

The Process Of Getting Clean Water In ‘Sons Of The Forest’

“Sons of the Forest” may not be a life simulation game, but risking your in-game life to dirty water means game over for you. So, here are the steps to getting clean water in this survival horror game.

You cannot go through the game without eating and drinking as well as these activities are essential, just like in real life. But, you cannot simply source your water out from any place you see with water. 

Start by boiling the water (do not drink it immediately after filling your container) or using a rain catcher. 

A cooking pot is needed to boil water, and they aren’t challenging to find, considering they are abundant in almost every bunker or camp in “Sons of the Forest.” 

With your cooking pot and campfire materials in place, proceed to a water stream and collect your water into your pot. Then, light up a fire and put your cooking pot on it, of course. In reality, it will take a few minutes for the water to boil, similar to making your instant noodles. 

Once the water has boiled, interact with the pot. Voila. That’s the best and easiest way to get usable clean water in “Sons of the Forest.” 

Or, Use A Rain Catcher

Otherwise, if you do not like the easy way, you may use a rain catcher. The following are required to build a rain catcher: 12 pieces of sticks and a turtle shell. 

Go to the edges of the trees to find your sticks. For the turtle shell, as its name implies, it is located on the beach side. Refer to your map, and you will see the area where the turtles are spawning. Unfortunately, since this is a horror game, the turtle’s blood must be in your hands before you can get its shell. Isn’t that the way and no other? 

Anyway, once you’ve built the rain catcher, simply put it anywhere outside in the open, preferably at one of your camps, and the rain catcher will do the heavy lifting for you. 

What Happens Without Clean Water In ‘Sons Of The Forest’

You will die if you don’t quench your thirst in this video game. At the same time, drinking dirty water also results in game over.

‘The Mandalorian’: Theories About The Armorer’s True Colors

Fans of “The Mandalorian” know that there are so many characters to look at, not just the adorable Grogu of David Acord. Among them is The Armorer. There is an ongoing debate about whether this female Mandalorian is a good guy or a villain. There is no resolution yet as of now, but what you can access are theories about her true colors. Find out more in this discussion. 

What Is ‘The Mandalorian’?

For those of you who do not know or are not aware of this Disney+ series, “The Mandalorian” is a space Western TV show. It is historic as it is the first-ever live-action series in the Star Wars franchise, which starts five years after the events of the movie Return of the Jedi. The story revolves around a lone bounty hunter protecting Gorgu, a Force-sensitive kid, from the remnant Imperial forces.  

Starting five years following the movie’s events, which premiered in 1983, then the fall of the Galatic Empire, “The Mandalorian” follows the story of the lone bounty hunter named Din Djarin, working in the outer reaches of the Star Wars galaxy.

Eventually, he gets hired by Imperial remnant forces to take back Grogu, but instead, he takes on an adventure to protect Grogu. While reuniting Grogu with his kin, ex-Imperial Commander Moff Gideon pursues them. Now, Moff Gideon wants to exploit the child’s connection to the Force, so the child and Djarin travel to Mandalore so the latter can redeem himself. 

This three-season show features a stellar cast, including Pedro Pascal as the Mandalorian, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Dave Filoni, Nike Nolte, and more. 

Who Is The Armorer?

Believe it or not, the Armorer is a woman, that’s right. She came from Mandalore, led the Tribe, and was a Children of the Watch member during the New Republic Era. After the Great Purge of Mandalore, she lived with the Tribe while disguised or on a covert mission on the Nevarro planet, where she wielded weapons and forged armor for her co-Mandalorians. 

In nine ABY, the Armorer forged a brand-new armor set for Djarin using the beskar he provided. This is the reason the Armorer is a significant character in the series despite not being the main act. At this time, she stopped an altercation between the bounty hunter and another Tribe member, Paz Vizsla, where she reminded them of the way of life they were supposed to lead. 

During the aftermath of the attack on the Empire’s covert mission, she made it her goal to salvage what beskar she could from the Mandalorians who passed away. Upon meeting Djarin and his allies, she helped the hunter restock his supplies, then declared the establishment of his clan after forming his signet and embarked on a journey to return Grogu to his kind. However, he stayed behind to keep collecting the beskar, and cover up for the escape of Djarin and his allies. Upon completing these, she evacuated herself to a new covert on Glavis Ringworld, which she founded with Vizsla.

Her life adventures are pretty hectic. Furthermore, she and Vizsla were later joined by the bounty hunter, who helped them rebuild their new covert. After she made the confirmation that the hunter had accomplished his mission, the Armorer reforged his beskar spear into armor for the child, then recounted the Darksaber’s story and the Night of a Thousand Tears, which their sect had survived since they were cloistered on Concordia’s moon. 

The Armorer also trained Djarin on using the Darksaber, but their training was stopped by Vizsla, who challenged the hunter to a duel, which the hunter won, of course. The Armorer stopped Djarin from taking the life of Vizsla, asking them if they had removed their helmets. The bounty hunter said he did, and the character in discussion here claimed he was no longer a Mandalorian unless the Living Waters redeemed him.

The True Colors Of The Armorer: Theories

Alright, hearing those facts, it would seem that the Armorer is an average innocent character. However, several theories say otherwise, such as what some “The Mandalorian” fans say on Reddit. Then, there’s another popular theory involving the Rook Kast. Read on.

If the Armorer had indeed been around throughout the takeover of Maul, she would have likely been part of the Death Watch, considering that the militia’s views align with hers. Even if Maul was not officially a Mandalorian, it was probable that the Armorer was willing to sacrifice things for her to accept him as their leader since he also won the Darksaber in battle. 

Now, if the Armorer simply followed the one who wielded the legendary Star Wars weapon, this could mean her allegiance would shift to Gideon the moment he took the Darksaber from Bo-Katan throughout the Great Purge. Also, note here that the Armorer’s sudden change of heart about Bo-Katan came about just following the latter, saving the hunter and becoming the rightful owner of the legendary weapon. 

Thus. If the Armorer was an ex-Death Watch member, she could be no other than Rook Kast, a Maul loyalist. Creepy. 

Is Rook Kast The Armorer?

First, there’s a commonality between the two. Rook Kast was also a female Mandalorian warrior. However, she was known to have led the super commandos of the Shadow Collective during the Clone Wars. She, together with Gar Saxon, was behind the freeing of Maul from captivity, helping him reclaim power. They also clashed with the Separatists and later captured Count Dooku and General Grievous. 

Multiple assaults were hurled at here, but she was able to escape from them, with her joining the Siege of Mandalore, where she trapped Ahsoka Tano, but was defeated eventually. Before you can defeat the Warden, there are things you must prepare:

  • Special items like snowballs, torches, cobwebs, and more

Here are the steps to beat the Warden:

  1. The moment you get to the ancient city, begin sneaking right away. Then, look for an open space connected to the city’s structure and construct your tiny underground base. You can use a trapdoor and pressure plate for added security.
  2. The Warden will never spawn until you make some noise, so do so. Then, quickly craft a six-block tower next to your underground base opening. It is advisable that you place cobwebs above the tower, on its side, and the opening’s bottom portion. The top area shall cancel out his shrieking ability’s knockback. Meanwhile, placing a cobweb at the bottom will help you land safely.
  3. As soon as you reach the top, attack the Warden with arrows. The best weapons are those with bow enchantments. 
  4. The Warden loves to fight with its combat attack rather than its sonic shriek. Quite clever, right? But, if it works on its shriek, stay on top of the tower to heal, or jump into your base opening, healing yourself and making another opening.

These steps may be repeated, but there are also alternatives for the picky “Minecraft” gamer. They can use end crystals to stop the Warden, trap him underground, and more.

Though she is only a minor character in the game, the truth about her life offers a surprising plot twist that further deepens the story’s already ornate layering. 

To start with, Kaori’s identity is mysterious. It is revealed to have been manipulated by the evil sorcerer Kenjaku, just like how the sorcerer in the ballet “Swan Lake” influenced the identity of the Black Swan. 

Now, Kenjaku, notorious for possessing other people’s bodies to advance his malevolent goals, has successfully taken over Kaori’s body. Thus, it will follow that her son, Yuji, won’t entirely be human since Kenjaku’s experiments and manipulations influence his existence.

So, that’s the twist. You’ll, therefore, think now that the sorcerer is partly Yuji’s parent. This, then, challenges his sense of identity and raises questions about whether his superpowers came from Kenjaku’s genetic interference and, therefore, must be repaid in gratitude.
