ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal Set to Release This 2021

The development team for ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal has recently announced that they will be launching a Kickstarter campaign for the game starting this September 15th. As such, they have even released a trailer to celebrate this project.

ARISEN is a brand-new story-driven RPG published and developed by Maratus which features mature themes. The game takes you on a journey to freedom, as the character you play has been taken away and sold into slavery by foreign soldiers.

It’s basically a narrative card game wherein you can express yourself through cards, and every choice you make matters. As you continue on with your journey, you will be able to unlock new cards to add to your deck.

Now, this Kickstarter will help Maratus Games raise more funds in order to cover the game’s development and production costs.

If you’re interested in checking the game out, you can actually download the Prologue for free over at Steam. This free demo will include 15-30 minutes of the game, and it will allow you to be more familiar with the ARISEN’s mechanics and lore.

As for the full game itself, ARISEN: Chronicles of Var’Nagal is scheduled to release in 2021.

Epic Games Will No Longer Allow Apple ID Logins This Week

For those who use their Apple ID to login to Fortnite and other games by Epic, we have some bad news for you. Epic Games has announced that starting this week, players will no longer be able to login using their Apple ID due to its ongoing legal battle with Apple.

That said, there’s still a way to save your account but you have to do it fast. At this point, you have to let go of your Apple ID login and set up email/passwords instead. To do so, you’ll need to head over to Epic Games’ General Settings page and update your account information with your current email and password.

On the other hand, if you are having trouble updating your password, you can go ahead and do the usual password reset.

The process may not be as easy for those who don’t update their account on time, though. If you’re too late and the Apple ID option is no longer available, then Epic “may be able to recover your account manually,” but this process requires you to contact them directly. More instructions regarding this matter can be read here.

This whole debacle began sometime in August when Epic Games released a Fortnite update that allowed the players to bypass Apple’s payment system. Apple retaliated by removing the game from the App Store, after which Epic filed a lawsuit against them.

Later, a restraining order was granted to Epic which prevented Apple from blocking them from access to the development tools. However, on August 31, Apple terminated Epic Games’ developer account on the App Store.

With that in mind, make sure that you update your account before it’s too late!

Sea of Thieves’ New Update Goes Live

Vaults of the Ancients, the newest update for Sea of Thieves, has finally been released. This new update brings with it a whole new voyage type, perfect for those who are bored of finding individual treasures of gold.

The story goes like this: the Gold Hoarders are starting to think that their Treasure Vaults are not as secure as they would like. As such, only those who are the most trusted are tasked to find the hidden Vault Keys and bring them back to the Hoarders (or open up the chests themselves!)

It’s worth noting that these Treasure Vault Voyages will only be made available to you only once you’ve reached level 25 with the Gold Hoarders. You will be given a compass that will lead you to map fragments that you will have to assemble once you have enough pieces. From there, the assembled map will lead you to a vault key.

At this point, you have two options: you can either sell the key and move on to other tasks or track down the Vault yourself for massive treasure. It’s a pretty high-risk task, though, as the door will close if you don’t get the treasure in time.

Vaults of the Ancients also includes the much-awaited feature: dogs. The Pirate Emporium is now full of dog options, all of which are looking for new pirate owners. You’ll find different breeds such as Inus, Alsatians, or even Whippets.

The Emporium has dogs with different coat patterns, too, so you’ll definitely find a new sea companion that’s to your liking. If you’re the type who likes things to match, you can even gear up your canine with a suitable outfit.

Vaults of the Ancients has a few more updates and changes up its sleeve, so you can check the game’s release notes for more information.

Treyarch reveals in-depth multiplayer details for COD: Black Ops Cold War

Activision has finally unveiled Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer mode last night and has confirmed that an open beta will be happening beginning October 8, 2020.

PlayStation 4 pre-order players will be the first to get the beta on October 8 and will be followed by the general PS4 players on October 10. The general access for the game will be on October 17, 2020.

Probably the most compelling improvement in Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer mode is the lack of Specialists which were a key feature in the previous Black Ops games. Scorestreaks and Wildcards will be a new feature in the game as well as Field Upgrades such as the Jammer and Field Mic which can be equipped by players in their loadout.

Players can also expect familiar modes such as Search and Destroy, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Domination. There will also be new exciting modes including VIP Escort, Combined Arms, and Fireteam which provides large scale 12v12 and 40-man battles. The multiplayer mode will also introduce new maps such as the Armada, Crossroads, Miami, Moscow, and Satellite.

The developers also confirmed that Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will share its content with Warzone, just as Modern Warfare is currently doing. Black Ops Cold War’s shared progression with Warzone allows players to use items in both games. In addition, Warzone players will still have the ability to access all Modern Warfare content they have previously earned such as weapon blueprints and Operators.

The developers said more information will be unveiled about Black Op’s integration with Warzone in a future event. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has been considered as a direct sequel to the classic Black Ops game and will be released on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and all next-gen consoles on November 13, 2020.

Pre-orders for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War are now live. Players who avail the pre-orders will have early access to the open beta and Sgt. Woods operator bundle which can be used for both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Xbox Series X pre-order date, release date, price confirmed by Microsoft

Microsoft has officially revealed that the Xbox Series X – the company’s primary next-gen console, will have a retail price of €499/£449/$499. Microsoft also confirmed that the Xbox Series X will be launched alongside the Xbox Series S on November 10, 2020.

Interested gamers can start pre-ordering on September 22 and the products’ Amazon store page is already live. If these details seem familiar, it’s because they were recently leaked with what looks like a teaser for the Xbox Series S.

Microsoft also revealed that its financing service, Xbox All Access, will be expanding so it can cater to new tiers for both Series X and Series S. For $25 per month, players can get their hands on the Series S, a Live Gold subscription, and a Game Pass.

Upgrading to $35 per month, players will get the Xbox Series X instead and all other benefits. Microsoft guaranteed that the Xbox All Access service will be available in more countries in November.

Confirmed a few days ago, the Xbox Series S will be a smaller and lesser version of the Series X. Though they both have the same CPU and custom NVMe SSD technology, the Series X has a more powerful GPU, bigger RAM, and 1TB of storage space compared to the Series S’ 500GB storage. The Series S also doesn’t have an optical disk drive thus, making it an all-digital version.

Now that the Xbox One X has been discontinued, Microsoft’s console line up now consists of the Xbox One S at the lowest tier, Xbox Series S for mid-range, and the Xbox Series X at the highest tier.

Microsoft is planning 1440p and up to 120fps on the Series S while the Series X pushes the limit to 4k resolution at 120fps. Both next-gen consoles support ray tracing, instant game switch, variable refresh rate, variable rate shading, ultra-low latency, velocity architecture, and 4k video streaming.

The current Pokemon Video Game Championships has made a total overhaul in the competitive meta. The new rules imply that all players joining the VGC Series 6 are no longer allowed to use the top Pokemon from the previous VGC Series 5.

This means a lot of new and old faces are appearing in the new meta. Here are the best Pokemon picks in used in the championships so far:

Amoongus

All the problems Amoongus dealt by Torkoal, Incineroar, and Togekiss are now left behind. This Pokemon is now considered as the best support Pokemon in the current tournament.

Rage Powder and Spore help this Pokemon control the battle and having the Regenerator ability gives it the power to recover its health when it goes down. Amoongus works well in almost any team and is guaranteed to be a top pick for the rest of VGC Series 6.

Arcanine

Incineroar had a lot of time in the spotlight but now that it’s gone, Arcanine is now the best Intimidate user in the tournament. Along with this ability, the Pokemon has exemplary support moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Snarl to help fellow Pokemon stay safe while dishing decent damage. Arcanine can also be utilized as a damage dealer with moves like Wild Charge and Flare Blitz.

Primarina

This Pokemon is a decent damage dealer thanks to its over the top Special Attack, decent health, and Water/Fairy typing. Its passive ability, Liquid Voice, lets it hit all opponents with Hyper Voice.

Talonflame

Now that Whimsicott is gone, this Pokemon now has no problems rising to the top of the meta. The Pokemon’s Gale Wings ability perfectly sets the Tailwind ability. With this advantage, Talonflame’s partners will receive an immediate speed increase. The Flying/Fire Pokemon can also deal decent damage with moves like Brave Bird and Flare Blitz which makes it a great pick for the tournament.

Dusclops

Dusclops has always been there in the Pokemon meta but lost its fame when Porygon 2 was introduced into the game via the Isle of Armor DLC. Now that Porygon 2 has been banned from the VGC Series 6, Dusclops is now the best Trick Room setter in the tournament. Its natural high health and making it hold  Eviolite to make it really slow makes it the perfect Pokemon to utilize Trick Room.

All the New Content in ‘League of Legends’ 10.19 update

The League of Legends 10.19 update is now online on the Public Beta Environment servers and will be released on the main servers on September 16. Riot Games is about to unleash another monster update this year since the new patch contains several new content including Samira, PsyOps, and TeamFight Tactics mode.

Even though the patch is already released on the PBE servers, they are still subject to adjustments and changes, so every existing content on these servers won’t be final until it is officially released on the main servers. However, looking at these massive updates, everything looks like they are already set in stone.

Samira

Since this year started, the ADC position has been a mess. However, the arrival of Samira looks like the answer to the situation. First things first, the new champion extremely strong but every champion released this year has been ludicrously overpowered.

She’s packed with jazzy skills with high damage and hitting enemies with alternating attacks boosts her Style. Style grants Samira bonus damage as well as enhances her movement speed. Her passive allows Samira to dash forward and immobilize enemies she hit.

Her Q is her main damage ability, her W provides AOE damage while destroying all enemy projectiles, her E deals damage while dashing and will reset when she gets a kill. Lastly, her ultimate ability deals massive damage if her Style has reached its maximum.

PsyOps

This new event will provide players a selection of new skins. The new skins look badass and are tech-inspired which makes them look like they came from a cyberpunk universe. In addition to this event, the True Damage Yasuo Prestige Edition skin will also be coming alongside this event. The new Yasuo skin features a jaw-dropping stylish look which was collaborated with AAPE.

TeamFight Tactics: Fate

Originating from the Galaxy set, TeamFight Tactics is about to invade the Fates with new visual effects and a unique set of traits. Fixing and readjusting from the past sets, this new update has guaranteed to remove all problems from the previous patch.

 

Call of Duty Warzone: All Sins of the Father Intel Locations

Sins of the Father is the most recent Intel Mission to be included Call of Duty Warzone and is considered one of the most challenging task yet. This may be true since players will need to go through incredibly difficult terrain if they really want to accomplish this multi-part challenge in Warzone.

Here is a comprehensive guide to help players who are up for the challenge:

First Intel

The first task for players will be to “find the location in the message Ghost sent”. To start the mission players must traverse the map and go to the Zordaya Prison Complex. Upon reaching the location, players must go to the northeastern tower and pick up a coin that is lying in the center of the area.

Second Intel

After obtaining the coin, players will receive another clue telling them that “a CCTV near the metro exits may have spotted something”. Following the clue will lead players to the Verdansk International Airport’s metro station.

However, players must not go down the station since the intel they are looking for is the CCTV camera located outside the building beside the metro’s entrance.

Third Intel

After interacting with the CCTV camera, players will receive another clue that “a shipment was moved from the metro”. To progress the mission, players must enter the Atlas Superstore to collect the third intel. This challenge may take some time since the intel is hidden on a pallet rack beside a mattress and toy bear.

Fourth Intel

The next clue “the shipment was tracked to the Stadium” will task Warzone players to go to a rather familiar location. To find the fourth intel, players must look for an open box truck parked in the exterior area of the Stadium’s southernmost corner.

Fifth Intel

The fifth mission is where the Sins of the Father challenge gets complicated since players will now have to finish the Warzone Stadium Easter egg. Watch the video below and follow every sequence in order to get the stadium code. Once players have entered Suite 320, they must grab all three pieces of intel from the bulletin board inside the room.

Sixth Intel

Players will have to revisit the Stadium again for the sixth intel. However, they are only going to need the P2-16 card. The card will already be inside the inventory if players followed the video above. The sixth and final intel is found on a table inside a locked room located in the parking garage.

Hardcore mode coming to ‘Call of Duty Mobile’ Season 10

There are a load of new features coming to Call of Duty Mobile Season 10: The Hunt. One of them has been announced by Activision earlier today called the hardcore mode which is coming to the game on September 25.

As the name implies, the gameplay will really be hardcore. The mode features higher damage output, players have lower health, and will not even regenerate health. To add more chaos, friendly fire will be enabled.

The hardcore mode was previously tested by the public in July. Players loved the test mode since it’s realistic. Players have to be cautious to not get eliminated by the enemies as well as make sure allies won’t get caught in the line of fire.

Aside from hardcore mode, Season 10 will also receive headquarters mode. In this mode, teams need to capture a “headquarter”, defend it, and earn points in order to win the game. However, the team that successfully captures a headquarter will not spawn as long as the area belongs to them.

In addition to these two additional modes, two new maps will also be added into Call of Duty Mobile Season 10 too. These maps are called Pine and Terminal which were inspired by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The Terminal map will be playable on all classic modes but the Pine map will only cater 1v1 and 2v2 gunfight modes.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 10 will begin tomorrow and similar to previous seasons, will only last for a month. The game will celebrate its first year anniversary during Season 10. The developers previously revealed that they will add exciting additional content in celebration to its anniversary.

Call of Duty fans has been eagerly and patiently waiting for the new addition to the franchise – Black Ops Cold War – ever since a closed alpha test for the title was found to be existing inside PlayStation servers.

Today, Treyarch has revealed the game’s release date and a few trailers so fans could finally settle down and relax. The game’s developers have been consistently updating fans with bits of information about the upcoming multiplayer mode for Black Ops Cold War.

A few hours ago, Treyarch released a teaser for the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer on Twitter, just two days before the actual reveal date for the game. The teaser features an all-terrain vehicle along with the words “2 days” and a date, “9/9/20”. There is no doubt that these indicate the date of the multiplayer’s reveal.

Call of Duty’s official Twitter account has been posting teasers every day following up to the day of the release. The teaser released yesterday featured different areas on the map marked with a red dot.

One of the locations clearly shows Miami while another shows South America’s western side. Fans were quick to speculate that the map shown in the trailer might be what data miners call as the “Cartel” map. With so much information from the countdown teaser trailers, fans can only wait until the game’s reveal tomorrow.

Renowned Call of Duty YouTuber XclusiveAce was provided exclusive confidential footage for Black Ops Cold War. He accidentally posted the video and had to remove it immediately because of legal issues. Later on, he gave several details about the game such as the two new additional weapons which are the AK 5 assault rifle and SPAS-12 shotgun.

Treyarch also revealed a few details about the characters that make up the main campaign’s storyline. Fans have been introduced to Russell Adler, Woods, Mason, Sims, and Lazar through a series of character introduction posts by the developers.

There are only a few hours left before Treyarch fully reveals everything about the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer mode and from the looks of it, everyone is in for one fun ride.
