Get To Know The Most Wonderful Mods Of ‘Civilization VI’

0

Though the seventh installment of the “Civilization” game series has clearly overshadowed what “Civilization VI” can do, the latter’s fins still paddle like those of a fish slaughtered for food. Nothing compares to being able to play this award-winning game when you have mods by your side. However, there is a fine line that separates a good mod from a bad mod. In this guide, find out the best mods in “Civilization VI.”

Movable Districts

This “Civilization VI” mod is your ultimate tool for enhancing how your city is user-friendly when it comes to urban planning. Basically, the mod lets you shell out Gold to move a district, even if it is still under construction.

You will realize how useful this is as your game progresses because it is highly likely districts are never placed in their intended ideal location on the first attempt. As your city’s borders grow and develop, as well as districts built, you’ll also realize how adjacency bonuses from initial placements won’t always be optimal. Thanks to this mod, these issues are resolved.

Thrones And Palaces

No, this isn’t “Game of Thrones,” but Thrones and Palaces. This mod is perfect for you if you are a fan of throne rooms from “II” and palaces from “III.” It adds new visually remarkable spaces where you can upgrade not just your palace building, but also develop the throne inside it, offering you the best of both worlds.

However, note that these elements do not have perks or effects, even benefits, for the gameplay, so you can simply add them to games you have in progress now. There are upgrade points you must accumulate to upgrade your spaces, which you earn as you play. So don’t worry.

Extended Eras

Now, for players who wish to focus on balance and pacing, the Extended Eras mod is for you. Here, you overhaul the speed and flow of your game by editing the research costs and carrying out other adjustments. Sure, this sounds counterintuitive, making eras longer and thus, shortening the overall game by allowing players to fully utilize each era’s attributes. Therefore, despite the mix of perks and setbacks, you have stronger victories.

Furthermore, what’s great about this mod is how it solves a significant area for “Civilization VI,” preventing civilizations from getting ahead of others or falling too behind. In other words, all is justice. Yet, doing so incurs exponentially higher Technology and Civic costs, lower Culture and Science production from citizens, and also diminishes Eureka and Inspiration boosts from 40 percent to 25 percent. This also changes each era’s base length based on the modified research costs from earlier, providing your gameplay the perfect balance you are aiming for and want after all.

Sukritact’s Oceans

Meanwhile, this mod is brilliant as it enhances the way the game’s oceans look like. This is because Sukritact’s Oceans efficiently fixes the dullness of the oceans, introducing a brand-new game mode that adds more resources, characteristics, and even gameplay mechanics.

Kelp forests are introduced as a new terrain feature, together with two new bonus resources and three luxury resources, supporting the Monopolies and Corporations game mode introduced from the New Frontier Season Pass. Isn’t that amazing?

Production From Population

This Production From Population mod will give you more reasons to give the YouTube ads and ditch Facebook and play “Civilization VI” for hours. After all, nowadays, things are getting toxic on social media platforms.

This mod is part of a collection from its creator, a community contributor, enabling “tall play.” How this mod works is straightforward. It adds production from each member of the civilization, just as how the base game has Science and Culture. This passive boost to your Production encourages you to focus on Popular Growth rather than sending Settlers throughout the map.

A mod that also allows you to build massive and powerful cities that pump out units, districts, wonders, and more in just a fraction of time, the Production From Population mod is useful when you want to reduce imbalances late in the game, where you get more opportunities to expand your cities with the limited resources you have. Amazing, too!

Hillier Hills

This is the “Wonder Woman of ‘Civilization VI’” It’s coming to the rescue when the perks from working with the “Civilization V” visual mod isn’t enough. Think of Hillier Hills as a cherry on top. Think PVP Live isn’t sufficient in elaborating this mod? Share this article around and let us know your thoughts in the caption section.

Fast Forward AI Turns

Next up is the Fast Forward AI Turns. This fantastic mod is what you need as much as you need a Boy Scout or Girl Scout in your group of friends. This is touted as an absolute essential for quicker gameplay and for anybody who wants to actually try to finish off a campaign. How this mod works is pretty self-explanatory, but it delivers what it has promised.

Basically speaking, the mod enables AI-controlled players, such as City-States and Barbarians, to use both Quick Combat and Quick Movement to their best advantage to speed and patch things up.

The creator of this mod has others in their collection, but it is the Fast Forward AI Turns mod that’s touted as a game-changer. It is also a sure time-saver whose benefits will shine and get realized by players when they reach the Industrial Era and later. Did you know it also makes the endgame slog less tedious? Try this today.

In conclusion, these are a few of the best “Civilization VI” mods designed to offer a more thrilling and wondrous gaming experience, adding balance to your gameplay, overhauling the user interface, and even adjusting the artificial intelligence so your entire experience is better. As you access and enable these mods, be sure to separate those that can just glitch your game and those that are really working. Play “Civilization VI” now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac, and Microsoft Windows. It is also playable on GeForce Now.

Who Are The Best Characters In ‘Spy x Family’?

0

“Spy x Family” is a manga and an anime that has won the hearts of fans around the world. From the creation of Tatsuya Endo, its story follows an enigmatic spy – think of James Bond or K-Drama “Vincenzo” – who must “build a family” as part of a mission, not realizing his adopted daughter is a telepath, and the woman he agrees to marry is a skilled assassin. For PVP Live, he cannot feel bad as those could be a blessing in disguise. That also shows how there are several interesting characters in this series. Who are the best? Read on.

Loid Forger

Of course, there is no question that Loid Forger is the best character here. That name looks real, but his actual name is unknown, as he has thrown away everything from his past to work for Westalis, his home country, as an undercover spy with the codename “Twilight.”

For this new mission, he must get wed and have a child, so he travels to Ostania, creates his “Loid Forger” alias, and stars the Forger Family because he is the adoptive dad to Anya and enters into a fake marriage with Yor Briar. But, little did he know he was about to embark on a roller coaster ride.

Anya Forger

Is it frustrating if you knew you were just born out of a spy mission? Well, Anya always has to live with that fact. This adopted daughter of Loid and Yor Forger shines in the story as a first-year pupil in Cecile Hall, Class 3. But, spoilers ahead, she is also a telepath who got this power from an experiment an unknown organization has conducted.

Yor Forger

Yor Forger, your forger, that was witty, but don’t look at her name, rather her ambition in the game. She is a certified wolf in sheep’s clothing, being an ordinary office clerk by day, and leads a secret life as a Garden assassin under the code name “Thorn Princess” by night.

She now needs a cover to continue her work as an assassin, so she agrees to marry Loid. She believes this deal will help her reach her goals.

Damian Desmond

With a look that will remind you of Syaoran Li of “Cardcaptor Sakura,” Damian Desmond is a recurring or support character. He attends the same school as Anya and is her rival. He looks innocent on the outside, but he has some of the most potent superpowers around.

Yuri Briar

This recurring and supporting character is Yor’s younger brother, a 20-year-old who works in the State Security Service. But for whatever reason, he keeps this job a secret from his sister and instead pretends to be a normal civil servant. Oops.

The list of the anime’s best characters is completed by Becky Blackbell and Bond, their pet dog. Be sure to catch the episodes of “Spy x Family”!

Navigate The Boldest Maps Of ‘ARK: Survival Evolved’

0

Even if they are not simulation games per se, video games, in general, are close to real life in a way that gamers must consult the game’s map from time to time, or they will lose track of everything. Games like “ARK: Survival Evolved” feature some of the boldest maps in gaming history. Let’s get to know these maps in this role-playing game.

1. Aberration

Note that maps in “ARK: Survival Evolved” are not literally maps you unroll, but really places. What Aberration is, is what it sounds – challenging, eerie, and deadly. Yes, deadly creatures lurk in every corner. For instance, falling from too high elevations ensures you will get injured, no less, and the map also induces radiation sickness, affecting players who don’t know what to do.

The map may be perilous, yet it houses rare minerals and crystals that offer lucrative trade opportunities. The map also allows you to customize your system to meet your needs. Classic.

2. Ragnarok

Ragnarok claims the second spot. It is unique because it came from the minds and hearts of those who love video games, so it’s made with careful thought, planning, and design. It features beaches, storage caves, towering plateaus, ocean platforms, and repurposed ruins.

Plus, its surface reveals a fantastic range of biomes, including a live volcano, a Wyvern trench, broad deserts, lush forests, and epic mountains, encouraging deeper exploration that can even get more taxing with more – that means sea monsters, water trenches, and vast dungeon networks. No, you’re not in “God of War.”

3. Scorched Earth

The name of this map sounds boring, but it is not. Scorched Earth is, of course, all about intense heat worse than the hottest summers, dry sandstorms, and blistering sun.

Thus, you must stay hydrated, or you will perish. To do so, you may spot an oasis on the landscape, offering temporary relief. Second, there are and will always be hostile creatures adapting to the harsh climate. There are strategies and gear to own. Be prepared for frequent sandstorms, too.

4. Fjordur

This map does not only have fjords but fjords Norse-style. Delving into Norse mythology can be unbecoming for some “ARK” players. It’s not what they are looking for. But, this map, named Fjordur, is living up to the hype created about it. Each realm in the map is gelling perfectly into the game, offering a new exploration experience that can keep seasoned players entertained.

Talk about dinosaurs, they’re here. Plus, you will love its progression system. Will you feel offended if there are “Lord of the Rings” elements in this map?

5. The Center

The Center is a map from a separate studio, so it is different from the traditional layout of Ragnarok and Island, offering a breath of fresh air. This map appeals to fans of lush greenery, towering trees, and calming water bodies. When it comes to detail, this map takes it up notches higher.

The resources you can find here follow the same pattern as the Island, with particular regions containing denser deposits. So, the best observation skills must be present here. Once you do, you can buckle your seat for the most unexpected twists, turns, and frequent dead ends. Yikes!

6. The Island

This brings us to the map we talked about earlier: the Island. It’s the first map in the game that wins over gamers’ hearts because of its nostalgic value. This was the first map several players will have played on, responsible for making more and more gamers fall in love with it all over again. It deserves an award.

Though smaller than other locations in this video game, making it more challenging to sell for some seasoned players, it is a fantastic PVP map and one of the best options for newer gamers. If there is a drawback, it is that it lacks ocean variety, even if its name is like that.

7. Crystal Isles

Crystal Isles is also somewhere to immerse yourself into. Its most significant edge is that it is one of the largest maps in this video game. The map’s layout makes it appear like countless various islands – find biomes, jungles, snowy tundras, vast canyons, pristine white shores, and a large volcanic area.

When you’re here, don’t miss visiting the Apotheosis, a network of floating islands that capture the imagination of gamers. Not only are they breathtakingly pretty, but they are also the perfect location to build a base in the skies. Somewhat like “Minecraft.” Make sure to take a look at the Tropeognathus, the newest dino on this map.

8. Valguero

The next stop is Valguero. This “ARK: Survival Evolved” map is not the largest map here, but it retains some elements from other maps, forming the beauty and diversity you are looking for – spot rainbows, auroras like the Northern Lights, and shooting stars. But don’t linger too much into stargazing because you can find the Lost Temple here, too, opening your path into the most challenging underground caverns.

Perhaps the most interesting feature of this map is the Aberration Trench, allowing you to get in touch with content exclusive to the Aberration map. Valguero also lets you hunt Wyvern eggs to breed a powerful tamed version. Be sure to find a ruthless and relentlessly aggressive dinosaur here.

So, those are eight of the best and boldest maps in “ARK: Survival Evolved.” Regarding these maps, aesthetics is the name of the game, not action. Don’t you dare blink. These maps will make you ditch the IMAX.

Deciphering The Ominous Black Stakes In ‘Pokémon Scarlet And Violet’

0

“Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” is fun but also mysterious at the same time. It is mysterious because of in-game features such as the Ominous Black Stakes. What are they, and what happens when you obtain them? Read on.

Explaining What Ominous Black Stakes Are

In playing “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet,” you must keep your eagle eyes open or miss the most essential items that can give you the biggest rewards, such as the Ominous Black Stakes. These stranger items look innocent as they only stick out of the ground. But you can pull them out to unlock four shrines throughout the Paldea Region, sealing away four Ruinous Legendary Pokémons.

Where To Find These Ominous Black Stakes

All the Ominous Black Stakes across Paldea are categorized into four color sets: Purple, Yellow, Blue, and Green. Each set unlocks one shrine, and each shrine houses one of the four Legendary Ruinous Pokémons, such as Chi-Yu, Ting-Lu, Wo-Chien, and Chien-Pao. Here are the summarized details on the Stakes’ locations:

Purple Stakes

Head over to the South and East Provinces of Paldea to unlock the Purple Stakes so you could also unlock the Grasswither Shrine, the shrine from the Purple Stakes. There are eight here before you can catch and own Wo-Chien.

Yellow Stakes

Next are the Yellow Stakes. They are situated across Paldea’s West and South provinces, which unlock the Icered Shrine, the shrine for this Stake. You can find eight, then take on Chien-Pao. Ka-pow!

Blue Stakes

Meanwhile, the Blue Stakes can be found across the North Provinces and Glaseado Mountain, at the map’s northeast. These unlock the Blue Shrine’s stake, the Firescourge Shrine. Fierce! Take on eight as per usual before taking on Chi-Yu.

Green Stakes

Ting-Lu will wait for you when you succeed in getting the Green Stakes across Casseroya Lake, West Province, and Glaseado Mountain in Paldea. These unlock the shrine for this stake, the Groundblight Shrine. Find all eight to grab the reward.

This guide should make orienteering for these Ominous Black States a bit easier. “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” is an RPG game that takes place in the Iberian Peninsula-inspired region of Paldea, featuring an open world.

Every Protagonist’s Birthday, Age, And Height In ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’

0

The story of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” revolves around the Joestar family, whose members one day discover they are destined to hunt and take down supernatural enemies using their superpowers.

Being the largest ongoing manga series Shueisha published based on the Shueisha number of volumes, with its chapters collected in 136 tankōbon volumes, the pressure is high for its story to be engaging, and it is. The anime adaptation’s story is split into distinct parts, each following a family member who carries names abbreviated to the titular “JoJo.”

Its characters are as interesting as its story. Here are the birthdays, ages, and heights of the protagonists in “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”!

Jonathan Joestar

  • Age: 20 years old
  • Birthday: April 4th
  • Height: 6’5″

Jonathan Joestar is the first JoJo in the family in the series. With a superhuman body, he is the son of George Joestar I, and is an honest, a kind, and gentle guy whose life was stricken with tragedy the moment he met his adopted elder brother, Dio Brando, who isn’t part of this list of only protagonists. Ripple is an energy form in martial arts. Jonathan also became a Ripple user under the tutelage of Will Anthonio Zeppeli.

Joseph Joestar

  • Age: 91 years old
  • Birthday: September 27th
  • Height: 6’5″

Joseph may be 91 years old, according to Game Rant, as of this time of writing, but never looks old. Vampire? Maybe. He started as a protagonist in the story, but later became ally in the latter parts. He is the second JoJo in the family, a natural-born Ripple user and Stand user later on, wielding Hermit Purple, the psychic photographic Stand. The way he conquers threats around him in his life is with his initiative attitude and impressive ingenuity, interestingly battling Vampires, Pillar Men, and Stand users.

Jotaro Kujo

  • Age: 40 years old
  • Birthday: 1970
  • Height: 6’5″

The first protagonist on this list, who does not bear the name “Joestar” yet is still part of the family, Kujo, is a traveler. However, he is a delinquent living an ordinary life until Dio, the old enemy of the Joestar family, returns. He then travels to Egypt to save his mom and stop the Vampire once and for all.

He wields the incredibly potent Star Platinum, thus Kujo became the first JoJo introduced knowing the Standa and is among the most popular characters in this popular series.

Josuke Higashikata

  • Age: 16 years old
  • Birthday: 1983
  • Height: 5’11”

Ah, the fashionable 16-year-old Higashikata. Age definitely does not matter as this high school first-year student in Morioh town learns he is the illegitimate son of Joseph after he meets Kujo, who informs him about that. After his grandfather dies, he vows to protect his town from the evil Stand users. He possesses Crazy Diamond, a mighty Stand that can repair almost anything.

Giorno Giovanna

  • Age: 26 years old
  • Birthday: April 16th
  • Height: 5’8″

Also, a young boy dressed in the anime like a feminine, Giovanna is the fifth JoJo and the illegitimate son of Dio, conceived with the stolen body of Jonathan. It is interesting because though he is the son of a villain, he is actually a protagonist.

He has always wanted to be part of Passione, a powerful gang, and become a Gang-Star. He is a natural-born Stand User wielding the life-giving Gold Experience in battle.

Jolyne Cujoh

  • Age: 19 years old
  • Birthday: 1992
  • Height: 5’8.7″

Besides being the first woman in the series, Cujoh is the only female JoJo to date. She is Jotaro’s daughter, but you can notice that their surnames are different, which is quite interesting. That may be because she was imprisoned and in prison, she awakened her string-based Stand known as Stone Free.

Johnny Joestar

  • Age: 29
  • Birthday: 1872
  • Height: Unknown

“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” may be one of the weirdest animes ever, for aside from characters who are said to be in their 90s but still look young, there are also characters born in the 1800s but age 29. Seriously! Like Johnny Joestar.

The seventh JoJo, this former horse-racing-prodigy-turned paraplegic, decides to participate in the Steel Ball Run race to uncover the secret behind the Steel Balls of Gyro Zeppeli. Throughout the race, Johnny became a Spin and Stand User at the same time. Find out how by streaming the anime now.

Josuke Higashikata

  • Age: 19
  • Birthday: August 19th
  • Height: Unknown

The PVP Live team is not wrong here since there are two Josuke Higashikatas in “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. ” One is from Part 4, titled “Diamond is Unbreakable,” while the other is from Part 8, titled “JoJolion.” Quite interesting!

Jodio Joestar

  • Age: 15
  • Birthday: Unknown
  • Height: Unknown

Last but certainly not least is Jodio. Hailed as the ninth JoJo in the series, Jodio is a budding gangster, a resident of Honolulu, Hawaii, with his elder brother Dragona and his mom, Barbara Ann Joestar. Like the others, he is also a Stand user, but he wields the November Rain power, allowing him to create localized raindrops that may look weak, but these raindrops can crush enemies.

Those are all the protagonists in the series, with their age, height, and birthday. Some anime lovers would like to know these details as they want to relate to the characters of the animes they watch, for instance, if somebody is the same age as them.

You can stream “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” on Netflix, Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Peacock. Be sure to stream this show on those platforms to ensure you won’t get episodes with glitches.

Complete Guide And Walkthrough Of ‘The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’

0

“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” transports you to a fantasy world you can explore and progress into in a non-linear fashion as you explore this unstructured world called Hyrule.

In Hyrule, you find yourself at the end of the Zelda timeline as you control Link, suffering from amnesia, as he embarks on a journey to save Princess Zelda and prevent Calamity Ganon from destroying their world. Along the way, you collect items and complete objects like puzzles and side quests.

The vastness of the world of “Breath of the Wild” is as wide as the things you can do in the game. Let this concise guide walk you through everything you need to know when playing this game. It will be a few-minute read only, unlike jumping from one guide to the other.

Main Quests

“The Legend of Zelda” offers 15 Main Quests, all giving you the chance to navigate across the vast open world of the game, into the four Divine Beasts (Vah Ruta, Vah Rudania, Vah Medoh, and Vah Naboris), and ultimate battling with Calamity Ganon. While these Main Quests are pretty straightforward, you may get stuck with them occasionally. These Main Quests are:

  • Captured Memories
  • Destroy Ganon
  • Divine Beast Vah Medoh
  • Divine Beast Vah Naboris
  • Divine Beast Vah Rudania
  • Divine Beast Vah Ruta
  • Find the Fairy Fountain
  • Forbidden City Entry
  • Free the Divine Beasts
  • Locked Mementos
  • Reach Zora’s Domain
  • Seek Out Impa
  • The Hero’s Sword
  • The Isolated Plateau
  • Follow the Sheikah Slate

Side Quests

Unlike the Main Quests, Side Quests in “Breath of the Wild” are more extensive, totaling 76. They are a fantastic way to prolong your time in the game and earn the best rewards. That being said, some of these Side Quests are tricky to complete, so the following guides will help you accomplish the toughest of these complex tasks. The top five most difficult ones are Lost Pilgrimage, A Gift for My Beloved, Under A Red Moon, Zora Stone Monuments, and The Eighth Heroine and the Forgotten Sword. You must have a lot of patience with them.

Shrines

When it comes to Shrines, you will find a whopping 120 Shrines across “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” and they are a way to acquire Spirit Orbs. For complete clarity, you can exchange these Orbs at Goddess Statues for Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, making them incredibly important items.

However, completing a Shrine and claiming its Spirit Orb can be challenging. The top 10 Shrines are:

  • Blue Flame: Shora Hah Shrine
  • Katosa Aug Apparatus: Katosa Aug Shrine
  • Korgu Chideh Shrine: Stranded on Eventide
  • Kuh Takkar Shrine: Melting Ice Hazard
  • Lakna Rokee Shrine: The Stolen Heirloom
  • Maka Rah Shrine: Steady Thy Heart
  • Shora Hah Shrine: Blue Flame
  • Toh Yahsa Shrine: Trial of Thunder
  • Tawa Jinn Shrine: The Three Giant Brothers
  • The Current Solution: Hawa Koth Shrine
  • The Spring of Wisdom: Jitan Sa’mi Shrine

Great Fairy Fountains

The game has four Great Fairies, and those interested in upgrading their Armor Sets must find them all.

Cotera

The Great Fairy Cotera is the first Great Fairy in “Breath of the Wild.” She is located on the hilltop in Kakariko Village. Wake her up by bribing her with 100 rupees, but you must first find the Tal’noh Naeg shrine and then proceed to the forest behind it.

Mija

Great Fairy Mija can be found on the northeast, directly east of Akkala Tower. Heading east from the Tower, you must glide over Lake Akkala to see a forest on the cliffside. Bring yourself to this forest to find her. If she is your second fair, you must give her 500 rupees.

Kayasa

In the west of Hyrule, south of Tabantha Tower is Great Fairy Kayasa. Find her by gliding south of this Tower until you spot a plateau slightly located southeast in this area. You want to pursue the plateau with a small lake by looking at the map. She needs 1,000 rupees to offer her services.

Tera

The Great Fairy Tera does not want to isolate herself, but her hideaway is far from those of the other fairies above. She is tucked under a skeleton toward the map’s southwest region in Gerudo Desert, just a bit southeast of the Dragon’s Exile. Picking her location on the map to remember it as you ride a sand seal toward that direction is recommended.

Korok Seeds

Regarding the all-important Korok Seeds, you can choose from 900 of them in the game, though you must have only 441 Seeds to upgrade your inventories. In the process of acquiring them, you will need assistance to reach that number.

Gear

Without gear, armor, and weapons, your “Breath of the Wild” gameplay can be boring. For sure, you don’t want just to walk around. The right Armor Set can improve Link’s stealth and help him win against a brutal enemy. The best Armor Sets in this game are:

  • Barbarian Armour
  • Climbing Armour
  • Dark Link
  • Flamebreaker Armour
  • Rubber Armor

Cooking

“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” is very exciting because it also allows you to experience how to cook. Cooking is an excellent way to get a steady supply of consumable items. While cooking is not a requisite like earning Skills in “The Sims 4,” cooking occasionally produces food items that can help you overcome certain obstacles.

The best food to cook here are Tough Meat-Stuffed Pumpkin, Enduring Mushroom Skewer, and Baked Apple.

Aside from those, you must also know about the game’s Cities and Villages, enemies, and mounts. Now, you are more than ready to start playing “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”

Things Gamers Hate The Most About The Remake Of ‘Resident Evil – Code: Veronica’

0

Maybe you’ve heard of “Resident Evil,” but not yet “Resident Evil – Code: Veronica.” That’s okay. Don’t bother to learn about it because most gamers do not want what they see in that game. This minute-read will tackle what gamers hate the most about the remake of “Code Veronica.” Yes, the remade game has not been released yet, but the hate is already there. Go check this story out.

Tidbits On ‘Resident Evil – Code: Veronica’

“Resident Evil” has been a phenomenal game through the years, but somehow, things changed for this video game since “Code Veronica” was released.

The story of “Resident Evil – Code: Veronica” takes place three months following the events of “Resident Evil 2” and the concurrent destruction and fall and Raccoon City as gamers have witnessed in “Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.”

Here, Claire Redfield and her brother, Chris Redfield, go on a mission to survive a viral outbreak – a common theme in “Resident Evil” stories – at a remote prison island in the Southern Ocean and a research facility in Antarctica.

The gameplay is as thrilling as the previous installments. Still, unlike the pre-rendered backgrounds of the last “Resident Evil” games, “Code Veronica” is all about real-time 3D environments and dynamic camera movement.

A Remake Is Coming Soon?

Last year, netizens saw an unofficial teaser for a remake of “Code: Veronica,” following in the footsteps of the “Resident Evil 4” remake. Shortly after, Capcom released an official teaser, confirming the rumors, but fans did not like what they saw. Read on why.

Things Gamers Hate The Most About The Remake

It Isn’t As Ambitious As The Other ‘Resident Evil’ Remake Games

Those who have seen teasers concluded that the “Code: Veronica” remake will likely be patterned more closely on the remake of “Resident Evil 3,” which, you should know, was a disappointment compared to “Resident Evil 2.” For context, “3” was scaled back compared to the original, and many felt it was a huge step down from what the “Resident Evil 2” remake brought to the table.

The Huge Pressure

This means that “Code: Veronica” is filling in big shoes, considering how major the previous “Resident Evil” remakes are, especially that of “Resident Evil 4.” Gaming experts said “Code: Veronica” needs more work to modernize itself, so it will be a challenge for this game to go through remaking.

The Hate Has Been There Since The Original Game

Interestingly, the dislike of fans for “Code: Veronica” has been present from the time the original game was released.

Camera Panning

The way the game’s camera is panned is essential for enjoyment, but in “Code: Veronica,” panning is very awkward, causing gamers to go in the wrong direction, wasting their time.

Graphics

If a gamer continues playing a game with bad graphics, their patience is admirable. The graphics in “Code: Veronica” are awful, very far from the graphics of the other “Resident Evil” games. For instance, the textures of objects have low resolution. Not good.

Nonetheless, some gamers are still looking forward to the remake. Are you one of them? Share this article online, and let us know your thoughts. Good night!

‘Skate 3’ Guides: Find Out How To Speed Glitch

0

The popular skateboarding video game “Skate 3” features the concept of speed glitching. Speed glitching is a technique that can make you move faster than usual. It’s even faster than sprinting and it’s similar to moving like The Flash. You can see yourself speeding up on screen.

Gaming media say there are three significant types of speed glitches in “Skate 3”:

  • Backwards man speed glitch – This technique can make you move unnaturally fast, but it is a bit tricky to do.
  • Superman launch glitch – You may be moving like The Flash, but this glitch named after Superman launches you into the air at extremely high speeds by performing the trick on a slope or slanted surface.
  • Meta park parking lot glitch – This will remind you of parkour as this speedy glitch involves spawning on your feet, throwing your board, jumping – and then pressing some console buttons at the jump’s peak – prior to returning to the board when hitting the ground.

How To Do The Speed Glitch

While there are various ways to do a speed glitch depending on its type, you really don’t have to try all of them, as the movement and visuals are generally the same for all speed glitches in this game. So, here is how to do a speed glitch the right way.

  • First, start by standing backward like a swimmer preparing to dive. Now, you must be away from the direction you want to speed off to.
  • Then, get away from your board. Ditching it means not standing on it or even holding it.
  • This time, press X on your Xbox if you are playing “Skate 3” here or the Square button on PlayStation to jump.
  • Get the perfect timing to spot the peak of your jump as you press RB.
  • Then, press Triangle on PlayStation and Y on Xbox. That’s it! See the results?

However, for those who did those steps but failed to see themselves on screen, speeding, don’t worry. It happens to several gamers. It won’t work on the first try, but you will certainly get the hang of it.

Once you have mastered the science and art of the speed glitch, you can reach more outrageous distances and heights than you can imagine.

Also, there are various speed levels to achieve since speed glitches are not pre-determined in any way, so you might have to try and try until you get the desired speed.

Pro tips: Try speed glitching before hitting ramps and bumps to get some solid airtime, too. However, if you stray too far, that is, go too high, the game automatically respawns you down at the point where you started. So, it’s a matter of skill, timing, and expertise.

Overview Of ‘Skate 3’

“Skate 3” hails from 2010, around the time of former United States president Barack Obama. This skateboarding video game is the third installment in the “Skate” gaming series and the direct sequel to “Skate 2” from 2009. Its developer is EA Black Box, while its publisher is Electronic Arts.

In this game, you maneuver around Port Carverton, which you cannot find on Google Maps or other kinds of maps because it is a fictional city. Port Carverton is divided into three distinct districts, each offering unique design elements and skateboarding challenges.

“Skate 3” offers a breath of fresh air from the darker themes of its predecessor. It is cleaner and more colorful. Here, you get to experience everything from the slick rails in the Downtown area to the open spaces of the in-game University. Plus, there’s also an Industrial District that’s screaming with so much allure. Go for it.

You play as the nameless The Legend, who has quite a backstory, too. The Legend wants to redeem themself after a failed stunt by starting their successful skateboarding team. Now, they must sell a million skateboards by accomplishing various challenges.

To reach these goals, various gameplay modes await you, such as the Easy Mode for beginners and the Hardcore Mode for the more realistic, well, hardcore gamers. You can push your skateboarding skills to the limits in the latter mode. Combining speed glitches with cheat codes will make you forget the stresses of life around you.

Games Like ‘Skate 3’

When you find “Skate 3” somewhat dull, or if you need to take a break and seek inspiration for doing the speed glitch right, try these games that give off similar vibes as “Skate 3’:

‘Session: Skate Sim’ (2022)

It’s a skateboarding video game launched over a decade after “Skate 3,” so you know the gameplay, mechanics, and graphics are intense. It’s also quite unique because it’s an open-ended video game presented in the style of a fish-eye lens from a mini DV format camera.

‘Skate It’ (2008)

Older than “Skate 3,” “Skate It” is a game that can be considered a spinoff of “Skate” and “Skate 2,” predecessors of the game being tackled in this article. It is set between the events of those two games, where several earthquakes have caused immense damage and mass evacuation in this city, ironically leaving players free to skate alone and undisturbed.

‘True Skate’ (2012)

Created and launched a few years after “Skate It,” “True Skate” is regarded as a skateboarding game closest to real-world skateboarding. It is available on Google Play and Steam, with additional content available through in-app purchases.

Wrapping Up

Skateboarding, now an Olympic game, has amassed and recorded over 85 million participants worldwide, according to LinkedIn. However, especially during the pandemic, skateboarding enthusiasts could not proceed outside their houses, so there was nothing they could do but experience the excitement of skateboarding at home. The fanaticism for skateboarding games continues today, as evident with the “Skate” gaming series. Play this today, and check out the speed-glitching maneuver.

Steps To Getting The Quicksilver Storm Exotic Auto Rifle In ‘Destiny 2: Lightfall’

0

If you’ve been playing “Destiny 2” for a long time already, are you looking at the sidelights to stumble upon expansions that improve your gameplay? If not, you should be aware that the main “Destiny 2” game has an expansion pack known as “Lightfall.” In this guide, you will learn about how to get the Quicksilver Storm Exotic Rifle in this game with the expansion.

All About ‘Destiny 2: Lightfall’

“Destiny 2: Lightfall” is a primary expansion pack for the popular free-to-play online first-person shooter video game. This game’s story focuses on Calus, the exiled Cabal emperor, who is also a recurring character in “Destiny 2.” In “Lightfall,” he is already a Witness Disciple, as he, the Witness, and their Shadow Legion Cabal and Tormentors army attack Neomuna, the secret, technologically advanced human city on Neptune, to procure Veil, a mysterious being to herald a second Collapse.

Furthermore, “Lightfall 2” has added a second Darkness subclass for players known as Strand, characters with superpowers based on suspending, unraveling, and severing enemies via manipulating reality through the Weave and extra-dimensional matrix. Plus, the game also offers extra new content, from a PVP map to two new dungeons. Those sound complicated, so you should see for yourself.

The Quicksilver Storm Exotic Auto Rifle

The Quicksilver Storm Exotic Auto Rifle in this “Destiny 2” expansion game is not just a rifle but also a rocket launcher and grenade launcher. There are two glaring features of this Rifle. The first is how it fires.

The fury of the Quicksilver Storm may be compared to a regular auto rifle, but it also unleashes a micro-missile after some bullets hit your enemies. Its Grenade Chaser perk is also what you should look forward to.

This perk loads three grenades you can fire one at a time. Gamers can reload the buffer between every shot when they hit reload right after pulling their trigger.

How To Get This Exotic Rifle

You must pay to get this Exotic Rifle. Right now, it is available for order to anybody who purchases the Annual Pass edition of the “Lightfall” expansion. But this will all be worth your purchase because you will also get other bonuses, such as a cool banner, an Exotic Ghost shell, and an Exotic Strand emote. Also, you will be rewarded with extra Upgrade Modules, Ascendant Alloys, and more.

Once you have the expansion pack pre-ordered that way, you can pick up the Rifle from Master Rahool in the Tower. Simply head over to the social space, speak with Rahool, and grab Quicksilver Storm from him via his vendor page.

Some avid “Destiny 2” players say the Quicksilver Storm, as it is more popularly known, is among the best Exotics in the game. They identify it as versatile, fun, and sleek, so if you ask us here on PVP Live if it’s for you, with no question.

‘God Of War Ragnarök’ Walkthroughs: The Vanaheim Veiled Passage Nornir Chest

0

Vanaheim, the home of the Vanir gods and every manner of perilous plant life in “God of War Ragnarök,” you can find a total of 35 Nornir Chests. These Chests, also known as Rune Chests, offer some of the best in-game rewards, such as raising Kratos’ Health and Range for locating Apples of Idunn and Horns of the Blood Meads.

However, getting these Chests in Freya’s home realm requires you to solve the most complicated and confusing chest puzzles in the entire game, urging you to think outside the box and think on your feet to claim the coveted rewards. Here’s your guide to finding and obtaining the chest.

You can find the Nornir Chest inside the Veiled Passage. Access this area by entering from the river’s south to Goddess Falls. As you row through the cave, keep an eye on the right-hand area for a tiny shore you can beach on.

You will spot a lava rock dispenser here. Grab one, then proceed right and throw it over at the golden rocks to clear your way toward the Nornir Chest.

Then, you will find three Bells to the West on the cave wall’s far end. The right-hand side bell is drenched in Red Fungi Bramble, both this with the left-hand side ball are behind cages, so don’t bother getting your Leviathan Axe because it won’t work here. Instead, grab your Hex Bubbles with Sigil Arrows.

Below are the steps:

  • First, destroy the Red Fungi Bramble, cloaking the right-hand bell. Be sure you set up a Hex Bubble on this.
  • Then, get your lava rock from the dispenser and throw it at the bubble. This fire detonates it, burning down the Fungi Bramble.
  • Now, the Bramble is gone. You should then put two Hex Bubbles proximate to the left- and right-hand Runes.
  • Then, place the third Hex Bubble midway, then fire thrice to expand it to its biggest sizing.
  • Lastly, get a lava rock from the dispenser pot to throw at the Hex Bubble you placed in the middle earlier. It sets off all three bubbles and rings all the bells simultaneously. You’re done.

Launched in 2022, “God of War Ragnarök” is an action-adventure game from the development of Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Loosely based on Norse mythology, this video game is set in ancient Scandinavia with the hero being Kratos, who, with her teenage son Atreus, work their way to preventing the Nine Realms from being shattered by Ragnarök, the eschatological event famous in Norse mythology, foretold to happen in the prequel after Kratos murdered Baldur, the Aesir god.

Use your PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows to play “God of War Ragnarök.”
