A talented “Overwatch 2” gamer took to Reddit to share a skin concept they created, which combines the game’s Sombra with Lucy from “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners,” and the community is loving it.

“Overwatch 2” is a first-person shooter game from the development and publication by Blizzard Entertainment. Since this game is a hero shooter, players are divided into two teams as they choose a “hero” from a roster of 35 characters.

One of the characters in “Overwatch 2” is Sombra. Sombra is a Damage hero in “Overwatch.”

According to her profile page on “Overwatch’s” official website, Sombra is among the “world’s notorious hackers.” She uses information to manipulate those in power.

Meanwhile, “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” is a web anime series based on CD Projekt Red’s “Cyberpunk 2077.”

One of the characters in “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” is Lucy, known by her full name Lucyna Kushinada. She is a netrunner and deuteragonist in the web anime series, which takes place during 2076 in the “Cyberpunk” series.

Lucy worked as an Arasaka netrunner during her childhood, only to flee with some of her colleagues after the daemon-related incident unraveled that their work was far riskier than it was worth.

‘The Indigo Disk’ Overview

“The Indigo Disk” is the second part of the game’s two expansions. The first part is “The Teal Mask,” now available, where players discover beyond the Paldea region as they embark on a school trip to Kitakami. Even before its launch last September 25th, “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty” has already been generating quite a lot of buzz. Gamers are excited, and there is no reason why they wouldn’t be.

“Phantom Liberty” is the newest DLC of “Cyberpunk 2077,” a new spy-thriller adventure where players can return as the cyber-enhanced mercenary V and embark on a demanding mission of espionage and intrigue to save the NUS President.

Set in the dangerous Dogtown district, the game challenges players to forge allies within a web of fractured loyalties and the most sinister political machinations. Do you have what it takes to survive?

The game, believe it or not, has also received nominations such as The Game Award for Best Performance and The Game Award for Best Narrative.

Topping 4.3 million copies

Now, the award-winning developer of “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty,” CD Projekt, has announced that the DLC has successfully cleared 4.3 million sales in just the first two months from its release, following its three million sales during the first week.

CD Projekt is also the mind behind other favorite games such as “The Witcher,” “Canis Majoris,” and “Project Orion,” among various others.

“We are very pleased with the launch of ‘Phantom Liberty,’” said CD Projekt’s chief executive officer Adam Kiciński. “Successful release of the expansion, along with Update 2.0, which introduces a slew of additional improvements, elevates Night City gameplay to another level – in terms of quality.”

Kiciński added that this is an “important achievement,” considering that the company even has plans “to further develop the franchise.”

The main game, “Cyberpunk 2077,” itself has sold more than 25 million copies since its launch in December 2020, the CEO said. Meaning to say, it is selling way faster than “The Witcher 3” after its release.

“Cyberpunk 2077” is an action role-playing game set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe. In this game, players take on the role of “V” (not BTS’ V), a mercenary in the fictional Night City, where they deal with the fallout from a heist that has gone wrong, resulting in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand’s engram threatening to overwrite V’s mind gradually. As the story goes on, the two must join forces to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.

‘Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition’ arrives today
