New Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies Details Revealed By Treyarch

The official release of Call of Duty: Vanguard is just a few days away, which means that Zombies lovers will soon be able to enjoy a whole new chapter of the Dark Aether saga. Treyarch has revealed a variety of facts regarding Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies in order to get fans even more psyched for the game’s November 5 release.

The story of Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies is related to some of the most promising information. Thanks to new personalities like Gabriel Kraft, Oberfuhrer Von List, and Kortifex the Deathless, operators will be more communicative this time around.

This is excellent news, considering that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s major flaw was the lack of character speech. Furthermore, the Dark Aether beings chosen by the player will frequently speak, injecting dark comedy and rich narrative into every match.

Treyarch has also released some new Zombies music, the latest of which is dubbed “Damned 5.” The new track retains the main elements of “Damned” but adds some violins and a darker vibe that fits the new occult focus.

Due to the removal of green from the roster, weapon upgrade levels will also change, albeit only marginally. Players can now find Pack-A-Punched weapons from the Mystery Box as well as destroyed mini-bosses, which is a welcome addition.

Treyarch has also stated that Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies will feature new perks, but they have simply renamed versions of certain classics. Fiendish Fortitude, like Jugger-Nog, provides a maximum health boost. At the same time, Diabolical Damage, like Deadshot Daiquiri, makes critical hits more effective, and Venomous Vigor, like Quick Revive, provides faster health regeneration.

Demonic Frenzy and Aethereal Haste complete the launch perk list, with abilities that mirror Speed Cola and Stamina, respectively. Surprisingly, the base bonuses will be free, and players will use points to upgrade to tiers 2-4 as the game continues.

The new Altar of Covenants feature was the final part of Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies that was discussed in further depth. Treyarch has revealed that the Altar will begin with an incredible 32 upgrades, ensuring that players will be able to gain new improvements with each match.

It was also stated that each upgrade would have a separate tier, rather than some being legendary and others being rare. As a result, some players may encounter a rare version of Brain Rot in one match and a legendary version in the next.

While all of this is fantastic, the post appears to confirm that Season 1 of Call of Duty: Vanguard will not include a new round-based map. Instead, a new Objective will be added to Der Anfang, as well as some setup for the game’s first main mission.
