Nintendo has been putting forth game trials as part of its online membership lately, as Dead Cells was lately made available as a trial through Nintendo Switch Online. Now, a chaotic couch coop multiplayer title is next on the list.
Overcooked 2 was well-received and received good reviews when it launched a couple of years ago. While it still is a popular game, there are likely many who have not yet had the opportunity to play it, so it being a game that is temporarily free with Nintendo Switch Online is a great gesture from Nintendo.
For now, the game is confirmed to be a trial game on the Nintendo Switch Online in European countries, but it definitely could come to other regions as well. The free trial will run beginning today until February 16, 2021.

Overcooked 2 allows players to create various dishes for customers in topsy-turvy fun in crazy and bizarre settings. The coop nature of Overcooked 2 only adds to the madness, usually riding the line between amazing teamwork and a kitchen that is engulfed in flames.
The week-long free trial on the Nintendo Switch Online is great for gamers, but it is also interesting that Overcooked 2 was included in Xbox Game Pass. Nintendo Switch Online gives a solid service with original NES and SNES titles, along with trials and games such as Tetris 99, but it sure does not seem quite as good when a week-long trial is included in the service when compared to the same title being inside of Xbox Game Pass and available to play endlessly.
Nonetheless, Overcooked 2 is surely a game that can be enjoyed on all platforms with family and friends.
