Christmas is still a few weeks away, but it will certainly feel like it this week, with Xbox offering its Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions with up to 40% discount, and up to 60% off for selected games, over a week before Black Friday. All quarantined players, charge!
The Xbox Game Pass was first released in June of 2017 and offers its subscribers access to a massive collection of Xbox games, available depending on the type of subscription, for the console, PC, and Android devices through cloud streaming.
The service is split into two levels, the standard subscription valued at $10 per month and the Ultimate subscription at $15 a month, which includes cloud streaming for Android devices, and other perks including free Disney+ monthly trials and EA Play. Both subscription types are bought by the month so that they last for as short or as long as the owner likes.
For gamers who preferred to purchase three months or more of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Microsoft is returning its Black Friday savings deals a little earlier than usual, based on an announcement on Xbox Wire.
Starting today until November 30, gamers will be able to avail of a 40% discount on three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate when they buy three months or more. With EA Play already integrated with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, for just ten dollars a month, players can enjoy their Xbox Series X|S running popular EA games such as FIFA 20, Titanfall 2, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, among others, in addition to the Game Pass’s already massive library.
The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription also means that, in addition to console and PC, gamers will be given access to these games on their Android phones via cloud streaming for an exclusive mobile gaming experience.
Microsoft is killing it this #BlackFriday . Did anyone catch their deals? Here is a synopsis:
1. 40% off Game Pass Ultimate for 3 Months

With the smell of the new Xbox Series X|S still lasting in the air now is the best time to build up game collections as Microsoft is prolonging its early Black Friday sale to select digital games at 55% discount such as NBA 2K21, FIFA 21, Watch Dogs Legion, Far Cry 5, Forza Horizon 4, and Marvel’s Avengers.
PC owners can also take advantage of 60% discounts on games such as Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition, Gears 5, and Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition. The discounts are already in effect and will continue even after Black Friday until December 3, 2020.
The coronavirus pandemic may be bringing a bit of hindrance to the festivities during this year’s holiday season, but Xbox is making it simpler and more inexpensive to stay amused during these tough times. While Xbox Series X|S consoles will not be a part of the Black Friday discounts, players can still take advantage of great discounts on accessories, controllers, and games to help keep their Christmas spirits high.
