Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot fans have been on the lookout for the game’s upcoming second DLC, and now Bandai Namco has finally revealed the release date. Even though many fans were disappointed with the publisher for the lack of communication on their part, the fanbase is still brimming with excitement following this announcement.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the whole Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC controversy, Bandai Namco has been receiving a lot of criticism from fans recently because it has remained silent for several months regarding the progress of the expansion.
While fans were naturally frustrated at first, they seem to be relieved now that Bandai Namco has finally broken its silence. Excited players can finally battle it out with Golden Frieza and his minions this November 17.
Among other things, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC 2 also features Goku and Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue form, which players will be able to utilize. We speculate that when maxed out, these Blue forms will give a 250% boost to all the stats. If this is the case, then it’s highly likely that these two Saiyans will be extremely powerful characters in the game’s roster.
DBZ: KAKAROT DLC 2 will be released on November 17, 2020.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has been known to not follow patterns when it comes to its DLCs. This time around, however, it appears that the game followed one. More specifically, the second DLC is scheduled to release one week after the announcement was made. The same thing happened with the first DLC.
That being said, this still doesn’t provide fans with enough information if they wish to predict the release date of the third DLC. However, there’s a high chance that it will have a release window of Summer 2021 if the developer remains at the same pacing.
In any case, no official announcements have been made regarding that, so we’ll just have to remain patient. After all, DLC 2 hasn’t even been released yet, so it’s better if we look forward to that instead.
There’s a lot to be excited about in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC 2. If you take a peek at the gameplay screenshots posted by Twitter user DbsHype, you might notice that both Golden Frieza and Vegeta are at level 170.
Based on this, we can infer that players will most likely experience different versions of the Golden Frieza battle similar to Beerus. That being said, we have yet to find out if there will be a level cap increase once this DLC goes live.
However, players should still be able to fight Golden Frieza at the level cap as well as at level 170, like in the screenshots, since a lot of players have already reached level 250 at this point. Overall, the frustration and disappointment that the fans felt a while ago have been replaced with relief and excitement.
It’s really impressive how loyal the fanbase is towards Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, since their dedication didn’t waver even though they had to wait for such a long time for any news regarding DLC 2.
The timing of the DLC’s release is pretty strange though. After all, the highly-anticipated next-gen consoles are going to be released this week, so this could potentially distract fans from the DLC’s release.
