How To Get Aiden Pearce in Watch Dogs Legion

Aiden Pearce, the original protagonist of the Watch Dogs series, will always have a place in the hearts of fans. Now, Watch Dogs Legion owners have the opportunity to get the beloved character.

Every fan who has played the previous Watch Dogs games knows who Aiden Pearce is. While fans will always have their own favorite character, the original hero will always be a memorable icon even after being replaced in future entries. Now, Ubisoft is bringing back the adored character to Watch Dogs Legion and it’s up to players to take him back in control.

Watch Dogs fans surely know that Aiden Pearce is the OG protagonist of the series that debuted in 2014. While Watch Dogs Legion will on a different controllable character, Ubisoft is bringing him back as a playable character.

However, Pearce will not be appearing in the main campaign of Watch Dogs Legion. Rather, he will be heavily involved in the game’s first DLC expansion releasing next year. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait for too long to get their hands on this endeared character thanks to Ubisoft currently rewriting some parts of Watch Dogs Legion’s campaign to include Aiden Pearce.

Lathieeshe Thillainathan, Watch Dogs Legion’s head producer revealed on Reddit that:

“We are writing the full single-player story again with Aiden’s personality. When you replay the main missions again, Aiden will be integrated into all the original cinematics.”

Aiden Pearce fans will be able to take control of the beloved hero via the expansion by purchasing the game’s season pass. Since this is the only way to get the hero, a lot of fans are frustrated that they will have to spend a few dollars first before getting Aiden Pearce.

However, this trend has been implemented on most of the upcoming games and there are fans who value particular characters a lot that they would be willing to buy the additional content.

Players who own the game’s special edition won’t have to stress themselves regarding the season pass since it will be automatically be included in the bundle. Players who bought the standard edition of Watch Dogs Legion will have to pay an additional $40 to get the season pass and eventually, Aiden Pearce.

Fans of the adored character are still hoping that the development team will add other ways to get Aiden Pearce in a future update. There is still no news if Marcus Holloway from Watch Dogs 2 will also be joining the franchise’s latest entry.

However, Ubisoft confirmed that several familiar characters will also be joining Watch Dogs Legion including Wrench from the original Watch Dogs game as well as Darcy from the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Ubisoft still has yet to announce a release date for the first Watch Dogs Legion DLC expansion called Bloodlines.
