Presidential aspirant Joe Biden is once again trying to reach the younger generation of voters through the wholesome world of Animal Crossing New Horizons, and this time Biden put up his own island where players can visit him.
With only a few days left before the US Presidential Elections, Joe Biden’s campaign team is doing everything they can to promote their bet including setting up a virtual Biden HQ in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
This is not Biden’s first try at reaching younger voters online, or even his first use of Animal Crossing. Last month, Biden’s campaign team released a set of in-game yard signage for Animal Crossing players.
The signage had four unique designs and could be downloaded for use via QR codes. Players can then put up the signs over their islands to show support for the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party. In relation to this, Biden also launched his official VoteJoe Twitch Channel.

Now, Joe Biden’s campaign team has arranged a rather exceptional Animal Crossing New Horizons island that players can visit through a game feature called Dream Island. Biden’s HQ in Animal Crossing can be visited through this code: DA-7286-5710-7478.
The island features different memes from Biden’s campaign such as aviators, ice creams, and trains. There is also a polling place adorned with voting booths which advertise ways on how people can participate in this year’s election.
There are also the above-mentioned signages scattered all over the island and fans can visit Joe’s personalized design portal to download their own Joe Biden-designed merchandise. For those who don’t have a Nintendo Switch or the game itself, a virtual tour of Biden HQ can be watched through the KindaFunnyGames Twitch channel.
In addition to the very Joe Biden-decorations, the island itself is well-designed. Even the homes players can visit are embellished very alluringly, and it’s obvious that someone who is a huge fan of both Animal Crossing and Joe Biden played a role in creating this island.
Possibly the best part of the island is Joe Biden’s avatar of himself which can be found roaming around the streets of Biden HQ. If players are fortunate, Biden might stand long enough so they can take a selfie with him.
Animal Crossing New Horizons has sold more than 22 million copies across the globe, so hopefully, Biden’s campaign is worth all the effort. The younger generation of voters in the United States is infamous for their poor voter attendance.
If anything can be taken out of Biden’s campaign, it is apparent that he is very innovative with his attempts in reaching out to young voters. While most politicians have stepped up their game when it comes to using social media platforms in the previous years, Joe Biden is the first presidential aspirant to utilize Animal Crossing New Horizons as a campaign tool.
