Price Check Of The Rarest Cards For ‘Magic: The Gathering’

0

If you are looking for something that could give you a relatively good future to live, you might want to get your hands on “Magic: The Gathering” cards. By toymaker Hasbro – the minds behind the world’s favorite toys and pop culture characters, such as Peppa Pig, Play-Doh (for sure you played it), Power Rangers, Transformers, and more – this fantasy trading card game is regarded as the first trading card game in the world, not “Pokémon.”

Players of this trading card game represent formidable dueling wizards known as Planeswalkers. They duel and battle until somebody emerges victorious. This tabletop and digital collectible card game was started in 1993, so some of the cards in its collection are already considered rare nowadays. What are the rarest cards for “Magic: The Gathering,” and how much are they today?

Rarest Cards For ‘Magic: The Gathering’

1. Black Lotus

Price: Around $19,200

Let’s start with the winner and it’s Black Lotus. Looking at the image of the flower on the card, it looks more blue than black, but nonetheless, it has the reputation of the most valuable card for “Magic: The Gathering.” This is because it is dated from 1993, the founding year of the game. Furthermore, just around a thousand copies of this card were printed and distributed. When it was marketed, it sold for several bucks.

2. 1996 World Champion

Price: It Once Sold For $17,500

Some lists have this card instead of Black Lotus on number one, and the contention is understandable. The 1996 World Champion has only one of them that exists. With the image of a shadow wearing what appears to be a Vietnamese headpiece, this card was given to Tom Chanpheng after beating Mark Justice. He was prompted to remove and replace some of the cards with lands due to technical issues and those in the game. All the other cards were destroyed after the game’s ceremony.

3. Mind Twist (Beta)

Price: Around $1,051

On this card is an image of what looks like a hermit. Mind Twist can be used to urge your opponent to discard their hand. Not the most powerful and not the greatest. But, thanks to the magic of mana generation cards like Black Lotus, these cards can work together to potentially destroy your opponent’s hand before they can even start to play. Is this reminding you of a card in “Yu-Gi-Oh!”?

4. Shichifukujin Dragon

Price: (No Available Information, But Communities Say It’s Around $100,000)

What is it again? It’s Shichifukujin Dragon. Looking at it, you’ll see it resembles the famous Blue-Eyes White Dragon in “Yu-Gi-Oh!” Similar to the 1996 World Champion, only one card is ever printed. That was in 1996, not a coincidence when the company was trying to tap into the Asian market and did so. “Magic” asked Christopher Rush and Mark Rosewater if they could create a card for a tournament being held then in Tokyo, and they did. Thus, you have the Shichifukujin Dragon, a famous creature in Japanese folk history.

5. Lord Of The Pit (Alpha)

Price: Around $2,668

Lord of the Pit also dates from the founding year of “Magic: The Gathering,” specifically its earliest Limited Edition Alpha set, the first-ever set released for the game in 1993. Like other cards on this list, such as Black Lotus, Lord of the Pit is rare in Alpha, with only about 1,000 copies produced. The image looks like a monstrous demon.

6. The 1/1 The One Ring

Price: The One Card Is For $2 Million

The “Magic” team made its way to greatness when it created this The 1/1 The One Ring, whose image is reminiscent of “The Lord of the Rings,” making its “Wizards of the Coast” event a memorable one. Similar to the other cards here, only one of them was printed. You can identify the authentic card since it is printed using Elven script with a distinct border. Moreover, the English Collector Boosters seals it.

7. Copy Artifact (Beta)

Price: Around $925

Copy Artifact is also an enchantment that allows you to mimic an artifact. It showcases a potent effect that only improves as more artifacts come forward. Moreover, it is a shocking deviation from the norm, this card has also made it to the Reserved List. Though rare, you can have it for only around $925. Its image looks like voodoo dolls.

8. Proposal

Price: Around $56,000 Together With 2 Other Cards, According To Online Community

Next up is Proposal. Read closely to see how this card came to be. When Richard Garfield was about to propose to his then-girlfriend Lily Wu, he wanted the proposal to be extra special. He wanted to propose with a trading card, one with the image of a question mark or a couple in some variants.

After they married, copies of the card were exclusively printed and given to family members, as well as to those who helped Garfield obtain the cards. However, the copy given to Quinton Hoover, one of those who helped create the card, was stolen when he made a trip to Japan and was never recovered. A copy did show up on sale at Magic Bazar Paris in 2017, but the community is still debating until now whether this card was authentic.

9. Mox Ruby (Alpha)

Price: Around $19,000

Now being sold at around $19,000, this card that has the image of a classic ruby is touted as a marginally less broken version of legendaries, such as Black Lotus. Each Mox Ruby grants you a single mana for no mana, but unlike Black Lotus, you can use the ruby-inspired card several times. Specifically, it gives the player Red mana and can be used in a wide array of decks. These cards also belong to the Reserved List.

The World’s First Trading Card Game

As you can see, the world of the “Magic: The Gathering” trading card game is so intricate, even more complex than “Yu-Gi-Oh!” and “Pokémon” cards. Many of the “MTG” cards have a story to tell, like a character’s backstory in TV and movies, making playing with them a whole lot of fun. Owning rare “MTG” cards is a feat.

Strongest Entities In ‘Inside The Backrooms,’ Their Scare Factors, And How To Survive Them

0

There’s no way you can hide when you’re in the “Inside the Backrooms” gameplay. Capable of running on GeForce Now and Microsoft Windows, “Inside the Backrooms” is an online co-op horror game where you and three of your friends will fight their way in the hopes you will escape from the various levels of the in-game backrooms. But here’s the catch: you must solve puzzles with a wide range of difficulties.

In this game, there’s the concept of entities. Let’s embark on a journey through the strongest of the entities, detailing how to survive them and their scare factors (not the wow factor). Starting now.

1. Entity Of Level 0 – The Bacteria

You can find this entity wandering around the first level, the Backrooms. Simultaneously, you’ll see this entity chasing you, uttering a loud screech, but at the same time, you may also spend most of your time on this level without running past it.

How To Survive This

  • First, remember the map layout full well. Walk around and try to recall both an escape route for running away from Bacteria or the location of the closest locker.
  • You may also hug the walls. This way, you can sprint around the corners quicker while keeping yourself away from this entity.
  • Stay away from areas where the fluorescent lights emit a hue of the dark orange color. Be stealthy.

Scare factor: Fifth in the ranking

2. Entity Of Level 0 – The Smiler

The Smiler is the most annoying entity in the game since it just doesn’t know how to quit. Here’s how you can survive it.

How To Survive This

  • The best way is to evade the darkness completely. Rely on Anxiety Pills to keep yourself sane.
  • The perfect way to fight back is to ignore this entity. This negates all the effects it can hurl against you.
  • Use your Flashlight to know if this entity is near you.
  • Avoid its gaze.

Scare factor: Second in the ranking

3. Entity Of Levels 0 And 35 – The Hound

Third is the Hound. If you find the Smiler annoying, the Hound is even worse. This is because there’s just one way to handle and survive this entity.

How To Survive This

  • Whilst in Level 0, listen out for the Hound crawling across the vents to reveal its location.
  • When you hear it lurking, simply run away until you cannot hear any sound from it.
  • Whether you’re in Level 0 or 35, you can stare down at it, automatically staggering it. Immediately run for your life afterward.
  • Also, when you’re in Level 0, you can use a Screwdriver to lock it down. Stay by a door or make use of the sewage water that this entity cannot access.

Scare factor: Sixth in the ranking

4. Entity Of Level 22 – Skin-Stealer

Yikes, right? Clue on how to survive it: it isn’t a vampire but is attracted to blood.

How To Survive This

  • Make sure to patch yourself up if you find yourself suffering from wounds from the past Levels. It typically roams around Cark Park, looking for its next victim.
  • It acts like Bacteria, so you might want to position yourself ahead before it starts chasing you.
  • When in doubt, hug the wall and stay near the closest safe room. You won’t want to forget to keep the doors open every time.
  • Those playing co-op should listen to its unique footsteps.

Scare factor: First in the ranking

Here are some the rest of the other entities ranked from scariest to not-so-scary:

  • The Partygoer
  • The Dog
  • The Facelings
  • The Window
  • The Clumps
  • The Duller
  • The Howler
  • The Plague Goblin
  • The Plague Doctor

Which Are The Best Charms?

Out of those on the list above, only a few are regarded as the best Charms. They are the Wayward Compass, Gathering Swarm, Stalwart Shell, Soul Catcher, Shaman Stone, Soul Eater, Dashmaster, Thorns of Agony, Spell Twister, Steady Body, Heavy Blow, Quick Slash, Longnail, Mark of Pride, Flukenest, Quick Focus, Deep Focus, Lifeblood Heart, Lifeblood Core, Grubsong, Grubberfly’s Elegy, Hiveblood, Spore Shroom, Sharp Shadow, Nailmaster’s Glory, and Dream Wielder.

Getting Overcharmed

In “Hollow Knight,” there is such a thing as being Overchamed. This happens when you equip a Charm that requires more Notches than what they have. “Hollow Knight” allows this, but you will get penalized with a 50 percent increase in damage from every source.

In an Overcharmed state, your health bar displays a purple aura. However, allowing yourself to be Overcharmed can be a viable strategy for those who want to survive the 50 percent damage increase. But, you have to be skilled enough or geared well enough for this.

To place yourself in the Overcharmed state, you should have at least one Notch space remaining. Ideally, use them for the more powerful Charms, as listed above, but need a significant number of Notches. To illustrate, the Soul Eater or Mark of Pride, for instance, has the added advantage that can offset or counter the negative effects of getting Overcharmed.

“Hollow Knight” is a Metroidvania game from 2017 where you get to control the Knight, an insectoid warrior exploring a fallen kingdom known as the Hallownest that is plagued by a supernatural illness. For insights on Charm Notches, visit this link. Happy weekend!

The Strongest Forms Of Ichigo Kurosaki From ‘Bleach’

0

The famous 2004 anime “Bleach” has a story that revolves around the action-filled yet whimsical adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, the main protagonist who dons the same type of clothing as Rurouni Kenshin and also wields a sword after he acquires the powers of a Soul Reaper from another Soul Reaper. In the story, Soul Reapers are a personification of death for Grim Reapers. Kurosaki’s newfound powers force him to take on the responsibility of defending humans from evil forces and spirits and then guiding departed souls to the afterlife.

“Bleach” viewers know that Kurosaki wears many forms. This is for him to gain the upper hand against his enemies. These forms, or transformations, are present since he is of multiple origins and can accomplish the most rigorous training in a relatively short period. In this PVP Live list, you’ll see how the strongest forms of Kurosaki rank. Let’s start.

True Bankai

In this anime, several of Kurosaki’s forms feature him with ink-like black marks on his skin, such as his True Bankai form. Otherwise known as the Horn of Salvation, this is his most potent form yet, which he attained during his final bout versus Yhwach in the anime’s Thousand-Year Blood War arc.

The True Bankai form represents the perfect fusion of his Hollow, Shinigami, Fullbring, and Quincy superpowers, which grant him immeasurable strength and speed.

Here, a horn protrudes from his head while the Hollow mask covers half his face. Meanwhile, his attire resembles his Fullbring Shikai look.

True Shikai

This is Kurosaki’s second-best form, achieved during his fight with Jugram Haschwalth with the spirit Zangetsu. With this form, Kurosaki wields two blades, not just one, giving his enemies proper trouble and the power that makes him dominate the playing field.

One of those blades is an enormous cleaver-like sword, symbolizing his Hollow abilities. The other is a tinier, dagger-like sword representing his Quincy quirks.

Vasto Lorde

This Vasto Lorde form of Kurosaki is that which involuntarily transforms him to during his fight against the potent Espada, Ulquiorra. After a fatal attack, he lets his instinct take over, resurrecting him and turning him into this form, the highest Hollow class.

This form is incredibly compelling, taking pride in its increased speed, strength, regenerative ability, and deadly Cero. The appearance is less angelic and more monstrous. There’s a white-colored bone-like mask he is wearing. But, this form has a downside. It is dangerous to be on as Kurosaki tends to lose his control, turning him into a wild force that can destroy even himself.

Final Getsuga Tensho

Most of Kurosaki’s forms are achieved during his battles. In the last moments of his fight versus Sōsuke Aizen, the Shinigami can attain a new level of power that Kurosaki isn’t able to conquer initially. Thus, he needs to activate this form, the Getsuga Tenso form to let him defeat and incapacitate Aizen long enough and lock him up behind the shadows.

Kurosaki also achieves this Final Getsuga Tensho while in training in the Dangai. Thus, when he fights the merged spirit Tensa Zangetsu, he acquires this form while accepting the spirit’s powers. This is how he is able to achieve the Final Getsuga Tensho form, enough to weaken the formidable Aizen.

Fullbring

Meanwhile, Fullbring isn’t something unique with Kurosaki as it is a power manifested by humans affected by the Hollow spiritual energy prior to their birth. Coincidentally, after losing his Shinigami abilities, he gains the Fullbring abilities. His Fullbring form is known as the Substitute Badge, which transforms his Substitute Soul Reaper Badge into a form that compares to his old Shinigami outfit, therefore enhancing his physical prowess and agility.

With this form, he can project energy just as the Getsuga Tenshou can. Thus, Fullbring is a temporary stepping stone for the anime’s hero, bridging the gap on the loss of his original powers and regaining his authentic Shinigami abilities.

Merged Hollow

Pictured above, Kurosaki’s Merged Hollow form makes its debut during the Thousand Year Blood War arc of “Bleach.” He gets this form while fighting Yhwach, the strongest character during that part of the story. The Merged Hollow form also appears near the end of the manga, when Kurosaki assumes this by merging all his powers.

In this form, he is fast and strong beyond belief, urging Yhwach to defend himself like a boxer, dodging his opponent’s punches. His attack in this form manifests his existence as both a Shinigami and a Hollow.

Full Hollow

Speaking of Hollow, Kurosaki’s Full Hollow form is attained while in training with the Visoreds, representing his struggles with his Hollow. The moment his inner Hollow takes control of him, his transformation to this form commences, turning the anime’s hero into a monstrous and berserk being. In this state, he has a white, skeletal mask, while his body features a Hollow hole. Fearsome.

Furthermore, his speed, strength, and durability are improved, but costing his sanity and control. But thanks to the training with the Visoreds, he can harness this form’s true power without losing control.

Post-Dangai

There was a particular point in the plot of “Bleach” when Aizen manages to defeat all of the companions of Kurosaki, since this was when his father, Isshin, tells him to travel to Dangai, a different dimension between Soul Society and where the humans are. It’s comparable to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in “Dragon Ball.”

While in this Post-Dangai form, he trains hard, spending nearly three months in Dangai, equivalent to an hour passing in the real world.

After he returns to his world, he already has long hair and is extremely strong. He also now has a better connection with his Bankai and is capable of overpowering Aizen, countering his attacks.

Re-live the most unforgettable “Bleach” moments. You can stream “Bleach” now on platforms such as Crunchyroll, JustWatch, Hulu, Disney+, Netflix, and others.

How to Manage Your Rental Properties While You Travel

0
a red and white building with a blue sky in the background

Every now and then, you’ll need to be away from your investment properties, whether you take a much-needed vacation or need to travel for business.

While you’re away, it’s important that you have a way to keep an eye on your properties and take care of your tenants.

Here are some tips for making this process easy and smooth.

1. Hire a property manager

The first and most important task is to hire a property manager to look after your tenants and buildings while you’re away. You can hire an individual if you only have a single property, or you can hire a professional team. There are benefits to both, but if you have more than one property, it’s better to hire a company.

The biggest benefit of hiring an individual is the cost. It’s much cheaper than paying for professional services. However, if you need more than just someone to answer the phone, you’re better off with a professional.

For example, Sugar Land property management company, Green Residential, takes care of their clients’ properties from top to bottom, and investors don’t need to worry about what’s going to happen while they’re away. When you have a professional team of property managers, you can rest assured that all repairs and emergencies will be handled promptly and efficiently.

2. Let your tenants know you’ll be away

It’s important to communicate with your tenants, let them know when you’ll be away, and provide them with a list of both emergency and non-emergency contacts. Stress that they are to contact the people on your list and not you. If they don’t get an answer right away, ask them to wait or try again, but make sure they know not to contact you.

The contact list you provide tenants should include the person you’re leaving in charge who can make landlord decisions on your behalf, and 24-hour emergency service providers, like a plumber and an electrician. Your tenant can still call your main point of contact in an emergency, but it’s nice to give them contact information for a company you trust, just in case they can’t wait for a response, like if a pipe bursts and they can’t figure out how to turn off the water.

Also, set expectations for your property manager so they know they are on call 24/7 and can’t delay returning calls or checking voicemail messages. If your tenants need something, they need to jump into action.

3. Schedule chats with your property manager

Schedule some time to chat with the person you put in charge of your properties. If you’re only gone for a week, you probably only need to check in once, but if you’re leaving for a month, check in once a week.

Even though it’s unlikely that anything eventful will happen while you’re away, it’s still a possibility. If your temporary property manager is new to the job, then it’s even more important to touch base at least once a week to make sure they are doing okay and to answer their questions.

4. Plan your travels for the right time

With the exception of a month-long vacation, plan your time away with intention. For example, if you’re gone during the first of the month, it will be hard to collect rent and send out late notices. Your property manager can do this for you, but it’s still easier if you can avoid this and other inconvenient situations.

You can also avoid problems with rent collection by setting up electronic rent payments through an online tenant portal on your website. It’s easy to set up, and it will make your job a whole lot easier. Tenants will also be able to have rent taken out automatically each month if they choose.

5. Tell your usual contractors that you’ll be away

Since you’re the one who contacts people, like plumbers, roofers, and other contractors, you’ll want to give your service professionals a heads up that they might get a call from your designated property manager, or directly from your tenants in an emergency.

7. Handle important tasks before you leave

Handle important outstanding tasks before you travel. If your tenants have been nagging you about replacing a broken screen, that may not seem important to you, but it is to your tenants. Before you head out, tie up any loose ends.

Enjoy your travels

Don’t feel obligated to stay connected to the world through the internet while you’re traveling. Trust that the person you put in charge will handle your business. If they need you, they’ll let you know. Until then, relax and enjoy your vacation.

‘Hogwarts Legacy’ Guides: The Location Of Every Landing Platform

0

The “Harry Potter” novels and movies have Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, a hidden platform at London’s King’s Cross Station where young wizards and witches about to study at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, disguised as Muggles or ordinary people, should walk or run toward the Platform which acts as a magical portal that will take them to the station where the Hogwarts Express is – unless the Platform is bewitched and you encounter the same fate Harry and Ron had in “Chamber of Secrets.”

But, there’s another “platform” in the “Harry Potter” franchise: the Landing Platforms. However, these Landing Platforms are exclusive in the game “Hogwarts Legacy,” alongside other features distinct to it, such as Ancient Magic, the choice of your Hogwarts House, and raising fantastic beasts, making these Landing Platforms a must-try experience in the game.

The Landing Platforms in “Hogwarts Legacy” are less of a portal but rather a collectible found across the game’s Wizarding World. These are spaces that work as landing spots for your broomsticks. Each Landing Platform gives you a Quidditch-related reward. But where can you find those Platforms? This guide will instruct you.

There are a total of 20 Landing Platforms in the game.

  1. At the North Ford Bog, you will find one Landing Platform. It’s just outside Pitt-Upon-Ford.
  2. Head to Hogsmeade Valley and you will see two Landing Platforms. The first is to East North Ford Bog Floo station’s east. The other is found to the right of Hogsmeade Village.
  3. Fly to the North Hogwarts Region to find two more Landing Platforms. The first is located to the left of the East North Hogwarts Region floo. The second is at the Korrow Ruins’ far right.
  4. As you proceed to the South Hogwarts Region, you will find another Landing Platform. It is to Arranshire’s south.
  5. Head to the Hogwarts Valley Region to find three additional Landing Platforms. You can find the first at the floo location of the West Hogwarts Valley. The second is located southeast of the last Landing Platform, which is near the East South Sea Bog floo location.
  6. Moving further, you will find more Landing Platforms in just one area. There are four Landing Platforms in the Feldcroft Region. The first is near the South Feldcroft Floo, and the second is proximate to the Iron Dale Floo, to the left side, and over the waters. Find the third at the floo location east of Feldcroft, while the last is near the North Feldcroft Floo.
  7. At Poidsear Coast, you can find one Landing Platform. It’s at the south of the South Poidsear Coast floo.
  8. The famous Marunweem Lake keeps two Landing Platforms. Spot the first next to the Marunweem Bridge floo. The second is situated south of the Coastal Mine.
  9. In Manor Cape, you will find two additional Landing Platforms. The first is south of the floo location at the south of West Manor Cape, while the other is awkwardly positioned behind the crumbling mansion along the coast.
  10. Continue your quest in Cragcroftshire to find just one Landing Platform. It is in the south of Cragcroft.
  11. Are you taking notes and counting? There is another Landing Platform at the Cragmar Coast. Particularly, it is located at the map’s southernmost part, together with some jagged cliffs.

There you have it, the locations of all the Landing Platforms in “Hogwarts Legacy.”

After Finding The Landing Platforms, Here’s What Else You Can Do

As soon as you’ve found all the Landing Platforms in “Hogwarts Legacy,” there’s not much to do. It is recommended that you continue your hunt for collectibles. You can find several Daedalian keys in Hogwarts and Demiguise Statues all over the map’s regions. Note that there may be Infamous Foes you must battle with. However, these things are optional, and it is perfectly alright if you choose not to chase the collectibles.

The Rewards: Is Finding The Landing Platforms Worth It?

Once you’ve found the Landing Platforms, four outfit Quidditch-themed cosmetic rewards will be available. These rewards complete the Quidditch Captain fashion set you also obtain after completing this challenge. Yes, there’s no Quidditch in “Hogwarts Legacy” yet, but these apparel are incredible to keep in your inventory since you can use them anytime for flight classes or when accomplishing broom time challenges in quests, such as the Flight Test side quest.

About ‘Hogwarts Legacy’

From the creative geniuses of Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games, which come from the same label as that which produced the “Harry Potter” movies, “Hogwarts Legacy” is an action role-playing game set in the Wizarding World during the 19th century, or about 100 years before the events in the “Harry Potter” novels.

You play as a student enrolled in Hogwarts who learns to use magic and objects, taking advantage of every possibility to make things happen. With the assistance of your schoolmates and professors, you take on a quest to uncover an ancient secret, leaving the Wizarding World baffled. There’s no Lord Voldemort here, but the villain is just as evil.

You can now play “Hogwarts Legacy” on PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. You can head to this link to find more “Hogwarts Legacy” guides and updates by the PVP Live team. Did you like this article? Share this around with your family and friends.

Dino Domination: 12 Pokémons Inspired By Dinosaurs With Their Best Move

0

Dinosaurs are a common sight in pop culture. Even without looking up on Google, you can identify famous dinosaurs in mass media. Name them: Godzilla, Barney, and Rex from “Toy Story.”

In the Pokémon franchise, some of your favorite pocket monsters have designs inspired by dinosaurs. So, let’s get them stomping their feet now on Earth as you get to know the most popular Pokémons inspired by dinos.

The Most Popular Dino-Pokémon Is… Haxorus

Haxorus is the leader of the pack. This Ace Pokémon trained by Unova Gym Leader and Champion Iris has dino features that are uber identifiable. It is inspired by the design of the heterodontosaurus or the different-toothed lizard.

Best move: Giga Impact

Other Popular Dinosaurs In The Pokémon Franchise

Let’s continue the countdown.

Tyrantrum

Sadly, Haxorus is not the most powerful dinosaur-Pokémon. If this list were that of the most powerful, Tyrantrum would be on top. This Rock- and Dragon-type fossil Pokémon will be very familiar to you as it takes inspiration from the design of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, commonly known as the T-Rex. This Pokémon has tiny arms – like Rex in Disney’s “Toy Story” – a big head with a mouth filled with sharp teeth, and a bipedal walking movement like the prehistoric dinosaur.

Best move: Head Smash

Dialga

Name a legendary dinosaur Pokémon, and Dialga will surely be on your list. This monster can manipulate time, so it is often revered as an ancient deity. Its appearance won’t immediately remind you of a dinosaur, as it has blue, icy-like features. In the Pokémon story, it is believed that its birth gave rise to the first movement of time. Its design is based on the sauropod Amphicoelias, with its lengthy neck and quadrupedal form.

Best move: Roar of Time

Meganium

In “Pokémon,” you have fearsome dinosaurs, and then you have cute and adorable ones, such as Meganium. This beautiful dinosaur Pokémon is the last evolution of Chikorita in the Johto game series. It is of the Grass-type and takes its design’s cue from sauropods, particularly the Brachiosaurus – as you see in “Jurassic World” – with its long neck, then smaller head and limbs.

Best move: Leaf Storm

Baxcalibur

Now, that name is quite classic. Baxcalibur is a Dragon- and Ice-type Pokémon who can spew cryogenic air that can freeze everything that goes against its way – Mr. Freeze from “Batman,” is that you? It also has a dorsal blade that can finish off weapons in battles.

Some fans link Baxcalibur with Godzilla, as its design is based on the Concavenator or Spinosaurus, which has sail-shaped thorns along its spine. This Pokémon is a scary foe to fight with as it can sustain itself in hailstorms with its icy body.

Best move: Glaive Rush

Sceptile

Sceptile isn’t proud much of its fangs but proud of its tail. This last evolution of Treeko is a fan-fave as it can run at high speeds. Its reptilian-like look resembles that of a Velociraptor. This is also a Pokémon you don’t want to mess with.

Best move: Leaf Bade

Archeops

You might get too engrossed with dinosaurs roaming the land, but look up in the sky, and you might see flying dinosaurs. Scarier, isn’t it? Archeops is touted as the first Bird Pokémon who can run at 25 miles per hour before launching itself into the sky. Think of an airplane about to take off.

Its appearance can be hinted at its name, a wordplay for Archaeopteryx, a real-life winged dinosaur, also known in scientific history as the “first bird.”

Best move: Head Smash

Rampardos

This Rock-type fossil monster is characterized by its thick skull and limb structure comparable to that of the Pachycephalosaurus. It is the evolution of Cranidos. Its movesets include the Zen Headbutt and Head Smash using its formidable skull. It also knows ancient powers and the move called Stone Edge. If there’s a dinosaur who loves sumo wrestling, it’s going to be Rampardos.

Best move: Head Smash

Rhyperior

Ah, the superior Rhyperior. When you have the Pokémon Rhydon that holds the Protector, it evolves to Rhyperior, a dinosaur with a carapace to protect its body and strong arms with holes that shoot rocks at its enemies.

Its design is based simply on the rhinoceros, but looking at it more closely, particularly at its tail club and carapace, will lead you to conclude that its design is also based on the armored dinosaur Ankylosaurus.

Best move: Rock Wrecker

Bastiodon

Bastiodon, a Rock- and Steel-type Pokémon, is the mirror image of Rampardos. It’s got some frills and horns that will remind you of those of a Zuncineratops or Triceratops. Iron Head and Heavy Slam are among its movesets.

Best move: Iron Head

Lapras

If you’re watching the opening billboard of the first-ever “Pokémon” show, you’ll spot Lapras drifting on the waters. Believe it or not, this Pokémon is based on a dinosaur. What’s unique about Lapras is that it can understand human speech. But, because of this ability, Lapras species were poached and became extinct. Thankfully, protective regulations were imposed to prevent its disappearance from Earth, so there is now a large population of Lapras species that people also rely on for sea transportation.

Lapras is a crossbreed between a tortoise and the Plesiosaur, a Mesozoic aquatic reptile. Forgive PVP Live for spending too much time on this character, as Lapras is gorgeous. It is believed to be the descent of the Loch Ness Monster from Scottish folklore.

Best move: Freeze-Dry

Groudon

Groudon, not Groupon. But kidding aside, this legendary Pokémon is also among the most powerful. It is one of the weather trio legendaries introduced in the third generation of the franchise. Its spikes can be compared to those of the Ankylosaurus, but it also resembles the Theropods.

Best move: Eruption

Conclusion

Note that dinosaur Pokémons are distinct from dragon-inspired Pokémons, though some of the dinosaurs on this list are Dragon-type. Dragonite, Dratini, Salamence, Altaria, Bagon, and Garchomp are some of your dragon-inspired monsters.

‘Minecraft’: How To Use Allays To Your Best Advantage

0

When the 2021 Minecraft mob vote came, the game added this new feature: the Allays. What are Allays, and how can you use them to your best advantage? Let’s find out in this edition of PVP Live.

What Are Allays In ‘Minecraft’?

Story-wise, Allays are tiny fairies in “Minecraft.” They will remind you of Navi in “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time,” who looks like a blue Snitch (based on “Harry Potter”). But Allays don’t look precisely like Navi or the Snitch as it carries the design of every other character in “Minecraft.”

Allays fly in the area and are more proximate in appearance to the villainous vex mobs Evokers summon in Woodland Mansions.

But Allays are more than just looks and flying creatures. They are of good use, specifically helping you throughout your Minecraft journey.

Allays may be flying, but they’re generally passive. They can move around and deliver items for players like you. They’re interested in Note Blocks and jukeboxes.

In other words, Allays are your floating assistants. You can’t cast Harry Potter spells like Accio in “Minecraft,” so your best bet is to get Allays by your side. Their neon, light blue texture makes them stand out in the dark.

Where Can You Find Allays In ‘Minecraft’?

Unlike other Mobs in “Minecraft,” there are just two spots where Allays spawn, so don’t overthink: the Pillager Outposts and the Woodland Mansions.

The first are towering structures filled with warriors wielding crossbows. Allays here can spawn in several biomes.

Meanwhile, Woodland Mansions are great places to find Allays, but the flying creatures here spawn rarely. Often, you will just see them in dark forests.

Some Mansions have cells inside, which a Vindicator usually locks and guards. Most cells are empty, but there will always be a chance that you’ll find some Allays locked inside.

How To Catch Allays

The moment you see trapped Allays, go ahead and break into the cell bars to free the creatures. The only way to have them follow you is when you give them an item to look for, so do so, then lead them to a safe hideout.

How To Tame And Use Allays In ‘Minecraft’

You’ve read the preview on this in the previous section. To tame Allays, you must hand them an item. For instance, this could be as simple as a button or as rare as a diamond.

But remember, when you take the item back from them, they will just fly away and stop following you. This isn’t what you’ll want.

Alternatively, if you don’t want that option of giving them an item, you may also use a lead on Allay so they won’t run away, even if they’re not working on an item. Conversely, you may also swap out and hand them another item.

Allays are some of the newest Mobs in “Minecraft.” It’s fantastic to have them around. Windows, Xbox, Amazon, Linux, Xbox, and Samsung Gear VR are some of the platforms and consoles where you can play “Minecraft.”

Remembering Lance Reddick And His Most Unforgettable Roles

0

According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death across the globe, claiming around 17.9 million lives every year. Average people are not spared. Even celebrities are not spared.

Because of coronary artery disease and atherosclerotic heart disease, actor Lance Reddick died at the age of 60. That’s too young. Maryland-born actor Reddick was known for his roles in popular movies, such as the “John Wick” franchise, “White House Down,” “The Wire,” “Fringe,” and “Bosch,” among others. Let’s re-live the most memorable roles of Reddic in this story.

Cop Cedric Daniels In ‘The Wire’

“The Wire” is a movie close to Reddick’s heart because its setting is in Baltimore, his birthplace. Its story covered the synergy of cops catching drug dealers and working with journalists to resolve systemic corruption. One of the reasons this movie is remarkable is the portrayal of its characters by talented actors, such as Reddick as the cop Cedric Daniels. This cop was determined to do the right thing, providing a heartbreaking contrast to the plot’s nefarious dealmakers. Reddick was the perfect actor for the role, embodying the character with so much awareness as he himself was born and raised in Baltimore.

Detective Johnny Basil In ‘Oz’ Season 4

The story of the wizard of Oz and its inspirations are so popular, transcending beyond theater, but also TV and movies. You know of the upcoming “Wicked” movie featuring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande this Thanksgiving. But before this, the “Oz” TV series took the world by storm. But it’s not like your usual Oz story.

In here, Reddick portrayed Johnny Basil, a detective with a prisoner alter ego, which he used to try to infiltrate the substance trade in Oswald State Correctional Facility. It’s a role that not every actor can portray as it demands absolute detail. For instance, Basil is somebody too good at his job to the point he got addicted to it to prove his commitment.

Conglomerate CEO Christian DeVille In ‘Corporate’

For an actor to be considered versatile, they must have the talent to portray a wide range of roles. This is because some actors would turn down roles they are not strong at, but not Reddick. Aside from playing roles in crime drama, he was also able to play the CEO of a conglomerate, such as in “Corporate.” In this sitcom, he was able to combine his baritone acting with his funny side.

New York City Hotel Concierge Charon In ‘John Wick’

Charon may be a hotel concierge, but he isn’t a minor dude, especially with Reddick portraying him in the “John Wick” series. Reddick was able to make Charon instantly iconic, not letting his gentlemanly fashion with his bespoke tailored suits get in the way of getting humorous. As you know in the story, Charon moved with the hotel’s owner to tackle the scariest dudes uniquely with a wick and smile.

The world will truly remember Lance Reddick.

Why ‘Destiny 2’ Enemies Cringe Seeing Izanagi’s Burden Catalyst

0

Several weapons in “Destiny 2” can obviously defeat enemies, but if you want to kill them in just one shot, your best bet is to use Izanagi’s Burden Catalyst. What is this all about? What can it do, and how can you obtain it? All the details are here. Read on.

Izanagi’s Burden Catalyst

What Can Izanagi’s Burden Catalyst Do?

Izanagi’s Burden Catalyst gives the weapon a boost so it can generate orbs on multiple kills, not to mention adding the Peerless Edge perk when completed. This perk boosts the damage of the Honed Edge, provided that four bullets are consumed.

Since the introduction of “Destiny 2: Shadowkeep,” the process of acquiring the Catalyst has changed. The requirements can be challenging, but this PVP Live guide is here to assist you.

Steps To Get It

Here’s how you can obtain Izanagi’s Burden Catalyst in “Destiny 2”:

Requirements

Head to the Monument to Lost Lights in the Tower to buy the sniper rifle. But the seller won’t just give it to you on a whim. You must have the following:

  • One Exotic Cipher
  • 150,000 Glimmer
  • 250 Spinmetal Leaves
  • Two Ascendant Shards

How To Obtain It

It is quite a process before you can own Izanagi’s Burden Catalyst in “Destiny 2.” First, it is true that it is complicated in the Menagerie. Since the Menagerie came to a close, and the eras of Beyond Light and The Witch Queen were started, the Catalyst can be earned by participating in playlist activities. You must focus on the Crucible, Gambit, and strikes to see Izanagi’s Burden Catalyst dropping.

Keep playing playlist matches and wait for one of the enemies to drop the Catalyst after they are killed. However, the odds and chances when they’ll drop the Catalyst are pretty irregular and fluctuating. Some “Destiny 2” gamers say they just need a handful of kills, while others don’t see the Catalyst dropping even if they’ve made a lot of kills. Really, it’s trial and error, but this PVP Live guide should have helped.

Developed by Bungie – the game developer behind other popular video games such as “Halo,” “Marathon,” “Crimson: Steam Pirates,” and “Myth: The Fallen Lords” – “Destiny 2” is a free-to-play online first-person shooter set in a mythic science fiction dimension.
