The MAPPA Legacy: 10 Best Animes From The Studio

0

What makes your favorite anime unforgettable? Is it about the story? Is it about the characters? Is it about the voice actors? Sometimes, it’s also about the studio where it was produced.

One of the leading animation studios today is MAPPA. This animation studio is based in Suginami, a special ward in the Tokyo Metropolis, and was founded in 2011 by Masao Maruyama, an anime producer and businessman, interestingly, when he was already 70 years old.

Some of the most familiar anime titles to you, such as “Attack on Titan,” “Chainsaw Man,” and “Jujutsu Kaisen,” are from this studio. These and more in this list of the best animes from MAPPA.

‘Attack On Titan: The Final Season’

You might be surprised to see “Attack on Titan” here and in the number one spot. Well, we’re only talking about the anime’s final season here, as this season was transferred and entrusted to the hands of MAPPA, with the previous seasons produced by Wit Studio.

In the groundbreaking final season, the story of Eren Yeager and the rest of the characters continues as they journey through the anime’s post-apocalyptic world, where the ongoing conflict between human beings and titans deepens further. This final season, despite being made by a different studio, was able to stay consistent with the stories and themes of the previous seasons.

‘Vinland Saga’ Season 2

Like what happened with the final season of “Attack on Titan,” the second season of “Vinland Saga” was redelegated to MAPPA from Wit Studio, and MAPPA did not fail the fans.

In “Vinland Saga” Season 2, Einar is brought to Denmark together with other prisoners. They were about to be sold as enslaved people, but he escaped only to be recaptured and beaten brutally. Ketil, a big landowner, was able to buy him. He was tasked with working on Ketil’s large farm in the country’s southern region.

‘Fighting Spirit: Rising’

“Fighting Spirit: Rising” is the third season of the favorite sports-themed anime. This season’s production was moved to MAPPA from Madhouse. It continues the tale of Ippo Makunouchi, now a featherweight champion, as he faces more challenges and discovers the real meaning of strength. The season also inspired the fans with its riveting animation and character development.

‘Jujutsu Kaisen’

Another big title for which MAPPA is credited is “Jujutsu Kaisen.” Unlike the previous animes on this list, this has been from MAPPA from the very start. It tells the story of Yuji Itadori on his journey to safeguard humanity from the evils of cursed spirits. Fans have come to love its diverse characters playing with the backdrop of a well-written and relatable story. Who would forget its thrilling action sequences and emotional scenes that will take you on a roller coaster ride?

‘Chainsaw Man’

Similar to “Jujutsu Kaisen,” “Chainsaw Man” was a MAPPA production ever since. It revolves around a young man named Denji who obtains the power to merge with evil spirits, known in the anime as devils, following his untimely and shocking death. He then uses these newfound powers to serve as his weapon against those devils. But, despite the weight of what has been bestowed upon him, he constantly yearns for a peaceful life and a beautiful partner by his side. These inspire him to keep moving forward.

If you don’t mind heavy themes of humanity’s dark side, power, and responsibility, you should see “Chainsaw Man.”

‘Dororo’

Then, you have “Dororo.” It is a breath of fresh air from the other animes here as it is a historical fantasy show. Quite unique. In Japan during its feudal years, “Dororo” follows the adventures of a young, innocent orphan named Hyakkimaru. He was born with no limbs, eyes, nose, ears, or even skin because of a dangerous deal his dad made with demons.

Mixing fantasy and historical themes, the story follows his quest to reclaim his body and seek revenge not on his father but on the demons with which the latter entered into a deal. Along the way, he begins a friendship with Dororo, another orphan boy, as they fight for survival in a world overrun by beastly demons.

‘Yuri On Ice’

You got used to sports-themed animes that talk about basketball, volleyball, or soccer, but take “Yuri on Ice” differently. The central theme is figure skating.

The story follows Yuuri Katsuki, a Japanese skater who struggles with self-doubt due to his losing streak. One day, a world champion named Victor Nikiforov decides to mentor him after seeing a video of Katsuki going viral. This partnership is the beginning of many great things for Katsuki. This anime beautifully captures the elegances of figure skating that other shows do not showcase.

‘Banana Fish’

“Banana Fish” is an anime of the crime thriller genre. But it is unlike “Conan” in such a way that it isn’t shallow. Here, Aslan Jade Callenreese, a young gang leader, finds himself in a risky plan involving a mysterious substance called Banana Fish. As you continue watching the show, you’ll see Callenreese’s connection with a photographer named Eiji Okumura, who joins him in a fight versus conspiracy. It’s the perfect anime for those interested in family, politics, and corruption.

‘Kids On The Slope’

Last on this list is “Kids on the Slope,” a coming-of-age anime from MAPPA based on jazz music. Set in the 1960s, the story centers on a transfer student named Kaoru Nishimi, who settles in a small village. He makes friends with a young man named Sentar Kawabuchi, who loves jazz music so much.

‘Dorohedoro’

“Dorohedoro” revolves around a man not only suffering from amnesia but with a reptile head (yes, he’s a half-human, half-animal) on a quest to actually uncover his true identity. You are reading that right because this anime is filled with dark humor, action, and fantasy that can transport you to a whirlwind of emotions.

How about you? What do you look for when deciding which anime to watch? Well, for others, they consider the studio that created the anime, and they can’t be blamed. These studios are the sources of the talent, tools, and skills behind the scenes that are making these shows possible.

A Friendly Shadow In ‘Stardew Valley’? How To Solve The Winter Mystery Quest

0

Wintertime is so cold that even the strangest creatures, like shadows, will lurk around you to maybe ask for a blanket. But what if this creepy shadow won’t cause harm but is rather friendly? Here’s how to complete the Winter Mystery Quest in “Stardew Valley,” where you’ll meet this shadow.

Unlocking The Quest

Unlocking the Winter Mystery Quest in this game is the easiest part. Simply leave your farm for a while and proceed to the bus stop, but be sure it’s any day during wintertime between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m, of course.

Upon arriving at the bus spot, a cutscene will play where you’ll see the shadowy figure walking around. Be alert, as they’ll eventually spot you and sprint in the other direction.

After the cutscene, you will have the quest in your journal. A creepy Shadowy Figure running away? Yes, and so you must find it again and see what they’re up to.

Completing The Quest

This quest is really just all about finding the Shadowy Figure. While it isn’t hard, it requires some of your attention. Work on your detective skills as you track the shadow from their footprints in the show. Follow these footprints, leading you to a bush near the Community Center. We hate to spoil the surprise, but interacting with the bush will have the Shadow Figure popping out.

Could you even believe that this shadow talks? Yes! They will briefly speak with you and offer you a Magnifying Glass. This allows you to locate secret notes, which provide details about the townsfolk – including their likes and dislikes, interests, and relationships – and some unique items. Notes that will give you information about other people? Now that’s creepy.

After this, the quest is complete.

Where To Obtain The Secret Notes

Don’t fret. Those secret notes are the big rewards of this quest. But you must first know where to get them. You can unlock these notes by performing tasks such as finding artifacts, fishing, chopping trees, removing weeds, harvesting resources, and even those that’ll make you commit evil acts, such as killing monsters.

While doing these tasks, you’ll eventually find these secret notes randomly. Just make sure to keep your eyes wide open. They’ll be in your inventory, ready to be read.

That’s our guide on completing the Winter Mystery Quest in “Stardew Valley.” Hopefully, this has helped you figure out how to find the quest’s shadow and unlock their rewards. HBO’s ‘The Last Of Us’: Is Tommy Alive In Part 2?

0

HBO made a great decision to produce a TV adaptation of Naughty Dog’s popular video game, “The Last of Us.” Thousands of gamers play “The Last of Us” every minute. The TV adaptation is just as successful.

Across HBO Max and linear channels, the series’ pilot episode was watched by 4.7 million viewers, making it HBO’s second-biggest episode since 2010. In just two months, it reached a whopping 40 million viewers.

There are so many interesting characters in HBO’s “The Last of Us,” such as the caring and compassionate Tommy Miller. While the cable network did its very best to ensure the series was as close as possible to the game, it took risks and made some changes to some characters.

In the game, Tommy and his brother Joel have a strained relationship. But in the series, they are very close. Let’s get to know Tommy a bit better. What happened to him after the outbreak? Is he still alive in the upcoming second season?

Who Is Tommy Miller?

Portrayed by “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” star Gabriel Luna, Tommy is Joel’s younger brother. In both the game and the TV series, Tommy is depicted as an idealistic and a compassionate person who often contrasts with his brother’s more hardened and pragmatic demeanor.

Prior to the outbreak, he fostered a closer and supportive relationship with Joel, embodying a sense of resilience and hope. The series also featured his military background, showing his adeptness at combat and survival, crucial skills in the post-apocalyptic setting of “The Last of Us.”

His character arc delves deeper into themes of morality, loyalty, and search for redemption. HBO depicted him as somebody who, in spite of harrowing circumstances, strives to keep his humanity and sense of justice intact.

Furthermore, his interactions with other survivors and his passion for building society highlight his inherent goodness and leadership qualities. His journey throughout the TV series delves into the sweet and sour moments of brotherhood, the impact of trauma, and the hope for a brighter future, making him an unforgettable character in the HBO show’s narrative.

What Happened To Him After The Outbreak?

In HBO’s “The Last of Us,” Tommy’s journey after the outbreak is both transformative and challenging. At first, he and his brother struggled to survive the pandemic, relying heavily on the skills they have and each other. As society collapsed, his innate sense of hope and morality urged him to seek a greater purpose.

Thus, he found himself being part of the Fireflies, a militant organization focused on developing a cure for the outbreak and resisting the authoritarian policies of military quarantine zones. His time with this group is marked by difficult decisions and exposure to the grim realities of life in a post-apocalyptic world. However, his disagreement with the group’s violent tactics led to him parting ways with them.

Afterward, he sought a new beginning, so he found refuge in Jackson, Wyoming. There, he contributed significantly to the building and maintenance of a thriving survivor community. This place represents a rare beacon of safety and normalcy amid the widespread chaos and devastation. His initiative in rebuilding the community reflects his desire to create a space where people can live with dignity and security.

Throughout his stay in Jackson, he becomes more deeply connected with Joel despite their differences in approaches to survival. This, though, allows Tommy to stand back to his ground and reclaim a sense of purpose and stability.

Is Tommy Alive In Part 2?

With a brand-new season premiere of “The Last of Us,” fans are asking, will they see more of Tommy in Part 2? The good news is that he is alive and well as the story continues. He will be with his wife, Maria, in Jackson, the settlement he founded and leads. You’ve watched how Tommy and Joel longed for each other when they saw each other again for the first time in decades. Joel even confided in Tommy, saying the latter helped prevent the Fireflies from killing Ellie Williams, the girl Joel was taking care of, thus thwarting their plans to find a cure. Tommy assured his brother he would have done the same.

For years, the two go on patrol together. Looking back at the game, these brothers are the ones who save Abby Anderson from the Infected. However, after the three take refuge at a lodge where the Washington Liberation Front soldiers (this is Anderson’s group) are staying, things turn muddy for the brothers. The soldiers and Anderson realize who they are, so they launch their revenge on Joel.

Though Tommy triumphantly stops them from killing Joel, he gets injured. His wife, Maria, refuses to send a group from Jackson to pursue Anderson and her soldiers, so Tommy heads over to Seattle, where the group is headquartered, to exact revenge himself and save Williams from further trouble. While it’s not yet clear how HBO will present Season 2, it is evident that Tommy will still be part of this brand-new season.

Wrapping Up

Those are everything you need to know about whether Tommy will be part of “The Last of Us” Season 2. You can read about what we know about Part 2 here. The show’s second season will be available for streaming in 2025.

Tips And Tricks You Must Know Before Starting To Play ‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage’

0

Assassin’s Creed Mirage” is an action-adventure game from Ubisoft, the video game publisher whose other popular titles include “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown,” “Far Cry 6,” “Star Wars Outlaws,” and “Just Dance.”

In “Assassin’s Creed Mirage,” you play as Basim Ibn Ishaq, a cunning street rat and thief haunted by his nightmarish visions seeking answers and justice. If you are a fan of Middle Eastern history, this is a game you don’t want to miss.

However, some parts of this game can be challenging. These include stealth-based missions, complex parkour mechanics, intricate puzzles, and engaging in difficult combat scenarios. You need the right strategy, precision, and adaptability to beat these.

Let us here on PVP Live help you conquer those challenges. In this discussion, we’ll teach you tips and tricks you should know before you launch the game, from befriending your eagle and petting a cat.

1. Your Best Friend Is Your Eagle

In “Assassin’s Creed Mirage,” you must unleash your inner animal lover. Like how several main characters in pop media have animals as their partner in crime, your character in this game will have an eagle as your best friend.

By pressing up on the D-pad, you’ll control the eagle named Enkidu. You’ll also be able to highlight keys for doors and chests, as well as secret entrances while controlling Enkidu.

Before doing any type of mission, summon your best friend and survey the area around you. Tag every enemy as much as possible so that you won’t get caught off guard. Informally, it would be best if you also made sure that there’s a better route into the base of the enemy other than the front door. Doing this leads us to the next tip.

2. Remember, You Can’t Fight Your Way To Safety

Learn from those who have played the previous “Assassin’s Creed” games. They will tell you the same thing. You can die in just a few hits and deal minimal damage when you don’t know what to do. The most straightforward way to kill and defeat enemies is through assassination. But you can only perform this if you haven’t been spotted yet. In other words, if you find yourself facing more than two guards, choose to run and hide instead of fighting.

3. Guards Will Hunt And Track You

Like in “GTA” games, you can feel free to commit crimes in “Mirage.” But, as you do, your wanted level goes up. There are three levels here. Each time you move up a level, more guards will hunt and track you.

The easiest way to reduce the chances of guards tracking you is to tear down wanted posters. To find these, tap left on your D-pad. This activates Eagle Vision, highlighting key objects in orange.

4. Scouting? Be In Photo Mode

You can activate the Photo Mode in “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” anytime. To do this, press both thumbsticks on your console. Your Photo Mode can sometimes be Enkidu itself, and once you pick this option, you can get an even broader bird’s-eye view of Baghdad.

The Photo Mode is highly recommended for scouting clues when solving Enigma puzzles. It’s so great that you must try it.

5. The Best Skill Is… Pickpocketing

You’ve learned earlier that you can commit crimes in “Assassin’s Creed Mirage.” Therefore, one of the best skills is pickpocketing. Yes, we’re serious. You can obtain so much when you possess this skill, so be sure to get it as soon as you can.

6. Sell Everything

The inventory capacity in “Mirage” has no limits. But the secret to getting rich in the game is traveling light. As you go loot chests and containers, you can get all sorts of random stuff. They will be designated as trinkets if you don’t need them for crafting. It is advisable that you sell these trinkets at once. To do this, visit a vendor, tab over to the “sell” page, and hold down Square if you’re playing on PlayStation.

7. Invest In Tools Early On

Here’s another tip to sneak past those nasty guards: Invest in tools early on. Basim’s tools are the stars of the show, so it is recommended that you unlock as many as you can and prioritize this. You can unlock one tool for free, so take the opportunity to unlock sleeping darts first. For the others – smoke bombs, throwing knives, blowdart, traps, and noisemakers – you must accumulate six skill points. Investing in these tools is worth it.

8. To Stay Hidden, Stab People

Your character can always run up to the guards and strike them in the middle of Baghdad’s streets, but the best way is to avoid this. Did you know that you can stab and assassinate people even while you’re hidden in a haystack, tent, pile of leaves, or other hiding spots?

Another advantage of stabbing from the shadows is allowing Basim to drag the body into where he’s hiding. This way, he can cover the sin.

9. Complete Contracts

Doing so allows you to obtain skill points, XP, and resources you can use to upgrade gear and valuable tokens for bribing people during missions. Be sure to take part in these missions, as they are lots of fun and even feature their own mini-narratives.

10. Go Ahead And Pet The Cat

Petting the cat in “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” is not only cute but also makes you relax and take a break from all the challenges in the game. Cats were highly valued during the Middle Ages in the Middle East, and they were very well-fed.

“Assassin’s Creed Mirage” is just as maddeningly complex and enigmatic as the previous games in the series. These tips should help you kickstart the game in the right ways.

After you’ve finished everything in “Mirage” and wrapped up the big finale, know that you can still keep playing, collecting things and finishing what you missed at your own pace after the credits.

The Best RPGs Right Now On The PlayStation 5

0

Role-playing games (RPGs) are perhaps one of the biggest genres in the gaming world. When you think of a game you play – say “Hogwarts Legacy” or “Elden Ring” – they are in the category of RPGs.

In 2022, the total revenue of these RPGs was projected at a whopping almost $45 billion. It is exciting to play RPGs because they offer immersive storytelling, strategic gameplay, character customization, and the ability to explore vast, dynamic worlds. Thus, they can provide a deeply engaging and personalized gaming experience.

Should you wish to play RPGs, among the best consoles where to do so is the PlayStation 5. What are the best RPGs right now on PS5? Let’s find out.

‘Baldur’s Gate 3’

If you want a role-playing game with combat that feels authentically customizable according to your specific and preferred playstyle, check out this game. Basically speaking, if you’re searching for an RPG that brings together all that you love about “Dungeons & Dragons” in a single plate and converts them into gaming gold, “Baldur’s Gate 3” on PS5 is a must-play.

‘Persona 5 Royal’

Some gaming schools of thought will contest what’s on the top spot, saying that it should be “Persona 5 Royal.” They have every right to do so, as this game defines what an outstanding RPG is. It’s smooth and promising on the PS5.

Looking back at the original “Persona 5,” you’d consider this a masterpiece, but this enhanced and expanded re-release has got gamers rushing to the stores. Balancing elements of simulating daily life with turn-based combat and so much fantastic dungeon crawling, “Personal 5 Royal” is immaculate. Stylish, brilliant, and refined.

‘Mass Effect Legendary Edition’

We can’t publish this list without “Mass Effect Legendary Edition” here. This game takes you on an excursion across the Milky Way itself as you uncover sinister plots and a malevolent force hellbent on wiping out the entire humanity. It is up to you, who plays Commander Shepard, to save the universe and probably even kindle some romance along the way.

If you haven’t tried playing this sci-fi extravaganza with so much space exploration, romance, and combat, what else are you waiting for?

‘Demon’s Souls’

Sony checked all the right boxes when it added ‘Demon’s Souls” to its PS5 lineup. This legendary action RPG spawning “Elden Ring” caught the attention of several studios, catapulting it to become a cult classic. It has gone through a remake, and the results are incredible. Don’t forget to turn your attention to its visuals, as they are among the best on PS5. It is a stunning blend of old and new.

‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition’

It’s not just “The Witcher.” It’s not just “Wild Hunt,” but it’s “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition.” Just by merely looking at its box art, you can see the many awards it has won. Does it deserve them? Of course.

This game will have you playing the role of Geralt of Rivia, the witcher himself and monster slayer. Famed for its equally thrilling side missions, rich world, thrilling narrative, and the depth of its characters, the game is the epitome of how deep RPGs can be. For the PlayStation 5, it has been remastered and updated, so play this right now.

‘Horizon Forbidden West’

The sequel to another breakout hit from its developer, “Horizon Forbidden West,” promises to offer something bigger and better every step of the way. Its open world may appear familiar, but it compensates for this through its storyline and amazing cast of characters. You’ll also find new combat, explorations, intensified action, and a sandbox bursting with diverse biomes and secrets to discover.

‘Elden Ring’

If there’s a much-talked-about game, that has to be “Elden Ring.” This game took the world by storm from the moment of its release. Its narrative may interest only a limited audience. It’s based on Norse and Abrahamic myths. But, you will be swept away by its perilous open-world structure that will test your strength and dedication. So, level up, customize your playstyle according to your advantage, and go conquer The Lands Between!

‘Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’

“Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” is another gaming spectacular. This direct sequel to “Final Fantasy VII Remake,” as Cloud Strife and the gang embark on their post-Midgar adventure, features open-world settings with a great emphasis on exploration. While its story isn’t the best of the best, you’ll love its character interactions. Furthermore, there are a lot of things to see and do. There are side quests, treasure hunts, and minigames. Kudos to Square Enix.

‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’

Truth be told, “Dragon Age: Inquisition” made it to this list because of its superior graphics and defined combat system. Especially when you gather trophies, you will experience a story that follows the character you’ve created as they try to close a mysterious tear in the sky.

Avid “Dragon Age” gamers must play “Inquisition” now as it welcomes all your favorite characters from the series, such as Morrigan, Leliana, and Varric Tethras. In addition, there are some more guest appearances from other fan-favorite characters, get this, depending on the choices you make in the series. Did we mention its story is captivating?

‘Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth’

With its adorable turn-based gameplay, a magnificent array of characters, and a gripping story, “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth” also has something to prove. The main characters, Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu, travel to Hawaii not for pleasure but to look for Kasuga’s long-lost mother. But, as you play it, you’ll realize this quest is just the tip of the iceberg.

Other must-play RPGs on PlayStation 5 are “NieR: Automata,” “Kingdom Come: Deliverance,” and “Fallout 4.”

You won’t make good use of your PS5 if you don’t play RPGs on it. On this console, you will enjoy these games’ stunning graphics, fast load times, and immersive haptic feedback, offering you a gaming experience like no other.

Must-Read Manhwas Evoking The ‘Solo Leveling’ Energy

0

Let’s take a break from all those discussions about animes (and games) for now and concentrate on manhwas, the literature that started some of these animes.

Manhwa is the genre of comic books and graphic novels from Korea. If Japan has mangas, Korea has manhwas.

Looking around for the best manhwas to read, the title will often be at the top of lists: “Solo Leveling.” Have you heard about it? In this article, you’ll learn what this is about and find out what other manhwas you can read that give its same feeling.

What Is ‘Solo Leveling’?

Solo Leveling” is a South Korean web novel that is so famous that it has garnered over two million readers on KakaoPage, a monetized content platform optimized for mobile devices, since 2016.

This web novel has since been adapted into an anime and a game.

It follows the adventures of the main character, Sung Jinwoo, in a world constantly threatened by monsters and other evil forces. During his battles, he turns himself from the weakest hunter to one of the strongest hunters in existence.

Best Manhwas Like ‘Solo Leveling’

Here’s the list of the best manhwas that will give off some “Solo Leveling” vibes.

1. ‘Omniscient Reader’

The story of “Omniscient Reader” begins with Kim Dokja, an office worker who has read the novel “Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World” for most parts of his life. When the story finally ends in the 3,149th chapter, the world in the novel suddenly turns real. Dokja is the only person who knows how the novel’s ruined world will end. So, he tries to change the course of the storyline by conquering challenges facilitated by Korean goblins or dokkaebi.

2. ‘Tower Of God’

Meanwhile, this manhwa has received several game and merchandise adaptations. Its popularity is unquestionable.

4. ‘SSS-Class Revival Hunter’

Out of all the other manhwas around, it has been said that “SSS-Class Revival Hunter” shares the most resemblance to “Solo Leveling.”

But, on a special day, Gong-ja is bestowed with the gift of unreal power that enables him to copy the abilities and powers of other hunters. However, this gift comes with a hefty price, as he has to give up his own life.

5. ‘Nano Machine’

Fifth on the list is “Nano Machine.” This sci-fi action-fantasy Korean web novel follows the story of Chun Yeowun, an illegitimate child of the Demonic Cult Lord. One day, he receives an unexpected visit from his descendant from the future, who inserts nanomachines into his body.

Traumen then kicks off his new life with this new personality while training to achieve his former power level and also surpass it. However, the Demi-gods, the series’ villains, resurface, so he must do everything to defeat them.

7. ‘The Boxer’

“The Boxer” is one inspiring story you should read. This manhwa revolves around Yu, a 17-year-old who has suffered ruthless bullying. This has caused him to become emotionally numb and dissociate himself from reality. In other words, he can no longer act like a normal human being. While he has the talent to dodge the punches of his bullies, he just allows them to beat him down as he no longer finds meaning in his life.

But things start to change when he meets an old boxing trainer nicknamed K, who has raised champions in the past. Yu’s near-superhuman fighting charisma catches K’s attention, so he decides to take Yu under his wing, even if the latter isn’t initially interested.

However, he learns the significance of K’s initiative. He enters a world where he must fight all kinds of adversaries, from the righteous to the monstrous.

8. ‘Return Of The Disaster-Class Hero’

The overpowering appeal of “Solo Leveling’s” hero matches the hero of this manhwa. Filled with betrayals and treacheries, its story features Lee Gun, who returns to take revenge on his teammates who betrayed him by trapping and imprisoning him in a dungeon to fight monsters with incredible abilities. He manages to escape from the horrific dungeon with his immense willpower but carries newfound powers and appearance. His next goal is to show no mercy to his teammates who backstabbed him.

Final Word

CooMeet vs. Chatiw: A Comparative Analysis

User Experience

Both CooMeet and Chatiw offer unique user experiences tailored to different preferences. CooMeet’s focus on high-quality video chats and gender filters makes it ideal for users seeking more personalized and secure interactions. On the other hand, Chatiw’s versatility in offering both text and video chats, along with its simple interface, appeals to users who want a more flexible and anonymous chatting experience.

Safety and Security

When it comes to safety and security, CooMeet takes a more proactive approach with its robust moderation system and focus on user safety. Chatiw, while offering anonymity, may not have the same level of active moderation as CooMeet, making it important for users to be cautious while chatting.

Accessibility and Cost

Chatiw stands out as a completely free platform, making it accessible to everyone. CooMeet, while offering free trials, may require a subscription for continued use. However, the features and quality of service provided by CooMeet often justify the cost for users looking for a premium chatting experience.

Target Audience

CooMeet is tailored for users looking for high-quality, meaningful video chats and is especially popular among those seeking connections with the opposite gender. Chatiw, with its broader chat options, caters to a wider audience, including those who prefer text chats and group conversations.

Both platforms offer unique experiences that cater to different needs, making it worthwhile to try both and see which one resonates with you. Whether you choose CooMeet or Chatiw, the world of random video chat awaits, offering endless opportunities to meet new people and engage in exciting conversations.

‘Diablo IV’ Season 5 To Let You Wield The Most Iconic Weapon In ‘World Of Warcraft’?

0

Like TV series, some games, such as “Diablo IV,” also hype up the excitement by introducing new seasons now and then. A new fifth season has recently been unveiled for “Diablo IV,” following the Season of the Malignant (Season 1), Season of the Blood (Season 2), Season of the Construct (Season 3), and Season of Loot Reborn (Season 4).

For this fifth season, probably the biggest news is how it might allow gamers to wield the most iconic weapon in “World of Warcraft,” also from Blizzard Entertainment. Here’s the story.

‘Diablo IV’ Season 5 launches

Last June 25th, the fifth season’s PTR (Public Test Realm) was opened and will close this Tuesday, July 2nd, after a one-week run.

The PTR has a lot of things to offer. For one, it includes a brand-new Eternal Quest, The Eyes of the Enemy, and a brand-new wave-based event called “Infernal Hordes,” lasting 90 seconds each.

As soon as you manage to defeat all waves within the time limit, you’ll then advance to the Well of Hatred and fight the Fell Council. Upon slaying the Council, you can spend the Burning Aether you gathered in this mode on Spoils of Hell. The four categories lootable are Spoils of Equipment, Materials, Gold, and Great Equipment, with the last guaranteeing you an item with greater affix.

Beyond this, another great thing about “Diablo IV” Season 5 is the possibility for you to wield an iconic weapon from “World of Warcraft.” Read on for the details.

Iconic weapon from ‘WoW’

As the new PTR opens, people at Wowhead, the biggest “World of Warcraft” information site, noticed something that will surely make you leave what you’re doing and start playing the game. They discovered new weapon models with Season 5’s files that resemble the iconic weapons from the other popular fantasy universe of Blizzard Entertainment.

These models are for the weapon known as Frostmourne, the legendary runeblade that Arthas Menethil, the evil Lich King in “Warcraft III” and “WoW,” wields. Two models of this weapon are found in the “Diablo IV” PTR.

However, the purpose of these weapons is still unclear, especially since Wowhead found Frostmourne not among the new Unique items in Season 5 based on their data mining.

The Frostmourne appearing as a weapon gamers can wield in “Diablo IV” isn’t the first crossover between the two fantasy universes of Blizzard. In the past, the developer has offered “Diablo”-themed mounts in “WoW.”

Also, last year, in celebration of the launch of “Diablo IV,” “World of Warcraft” conducted a Treasure Goblin event allowing players to earn various “Diablo”-themed cosmetics.

If you play the game series fervently, you can remember that in “Diablo III,” you were able to wield another “WoW” weapon, the Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.

Whether Frostmourne can be used in the full version of “Diablo IV” Season 5 or planned for the future is still unknown.

How To Install The PTR

You have until July 2nd to enjoy the “Diablo IV” Season 5 PTR. You can install it by launching the Blizzard Battle.net app. Afterward, choose “Diablo IV” from the list of games. Above the Play button, you’ll find a selector which you’ll need to set to PTR. Doing so installs the PTR, boots up the game, and creates a new test character to begin.

Buy It All: Getting Unlimited Money In ‘The Sims 4’

0

Since “The Sims” simulates life, it’s sad to say that money is also required to enjoy life’s pleasures in the game. Without money or Simoleons, you won’t be able to pay your bills, buy items for upgrading your house, or hire the services you need. So, as with real-life, becoming penniless in “The Sims” will make your character unhappy. As they say, no money, no honey. No honey, lonely.

You can get a job, sell items, or have the best saving and budgeting skills to earn money in the game. But, this is rather stressful and time-consuming, as with real-life. Considering the many luxuries the game offers, what you need is a get-rich-quick scheme in “The Sims.” Is this possible? Yes. Here’s your guide to the unlimited money cheats in “The Sims 4.”

First, Activate The Cheats

Before enabling your money cheat in “The Sims 4,” you must first activate them. To do so, launch the cheat console. This is done differently depending on the platform you use.

Press Ctrl + Shift + C or Command + Shift + C for PC. For PlayStation, press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2. For Xbox, press LB + LT + RB + RT.

Once the cheat console is open, type “testingcheats on” to activate the use of cheats.

Ka-Ching! Ka-Ching!: The Money Cheats In ‘The Sims 4’

Here are the cheat codes to enter into the console to get as much money as you want:

  • rosebud – Get 1,000 Simoleons
  • kaching – 1,000 Simoleons
  • motherlode – 50,000 Simoleons

Avid “The Sims” gamers know that “motherlode” is the classic. However, note that it isn’t possible to get unlimited money at all times in “The Sims 4.” But it’s always possible to have an unlimited source of money.

You may also set a specific amount of money for your household by typing “money” followed by a space and the amount.

But everything has a cap here. A household in “The Sims 4” can only have up to 9,999,999 Simoleons. To achieve this, launch the cheat console and type “money 9999999.”

Meet The Ferocious Upper Moons In ‘Demon Slayer’

0

Previously, here on PVP Live, you learned about every known member of the Twelve Kizuki in “Demon Slayer.” While these vicious characters are capable of casting their Blood Demon Arts, it is the Upper Moons who are the most powerful and ferocious. Here’s a look at the six Upper Moons in the anime.

Upper 1: Kokushibo

We’ve talked about Kokushibo in our other stories here. He is the number one and most powerful Upper Moon of all Upper Moons in “Demon Slayer.” His six orange eyes characterize him, and he also eerily resembles the anime’s main protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, particularly with his red-tipped hair and face marked with a flame.

Kokushibi’s story is profound, but to avoid spoilers, we just recommend that you watch out for his connection with the Demon Slayer Corps, especially with Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira.

One of his most remarkable powers is his stunning mastery of the Breathing techniques that the Hashiras use, making him extremely powerful.

Upper 2: Doma

The Upper 2 Moon is Doma. If you look at his photos, you won’t easily discover that he is evil. But don’t let his charming looks fool you. For one, he runs a cult that worships him as a god. He is an adorable god with his sleek hair, cute beret, and wit that can easily make fans fall in love. However, he’s not popular, unlike the other Kizuki. Be sure not to miss his rivalry with Akaza as you watch the anime.

Moreover, he is known for his deadly connection with one of the main characters in “Demon Slayer.” His Blood Demon Art is a superpower that deserves your notice in the show.

Upper 3: Akaza

Then, we have Akaza. As you watch preview clips online, you’ll see Doma and Akaza, with one seemingly being the devil’s advocate for the other. Or should we say rivals? Akaza claimed the life of the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku. The way he was introduced in the series is quite epic.

Akaza doesn’t play a major role in the Swordsmith Village Arc in the manga, though he gets very involved in the following storylines. He likes to highlight his strengths but dislikes weak people. This causes him to find himself in brawls with other strong Demon Slayers.

If Doma is a cult leader, Akaza was a passionate martial arts fighter when he was still human. He is also known for his incredible durability and regenerative powers, which are tougher than those of the other Kizuki. These were because of the significant amount of Muzan Kibustuji’s blood in him.

Upper 4: Hantengu

One of the first scenes where you saw Hantengu was when he was hanging out on the stairs of the Infinity Castle. Hanging out on the stairs? That’s too angelic for such an evil being like him. He stands out for his ability to manifest clones of his younger self. Each of these clones embodies a distinct emotional state from his past. These younger bodies of him are more frightening.

Don’t miss out on his tragic backstory, which greatly defined who he is today as an Upper Moon. Here’s a clue: he lived with trauma.

Upper 5: Gyokko

Gyokko is quite funny. He’s a horrific little guy who resides in a vase. But don’t underestimate this life as his physicality is incredulously so intimidating as where his eyes should be are his mouths, and he has multiple doll-like hands along his arms and back. His primary trait is that he’s an artist.

You’ll see that he’ll be at odds with the artisans of Swordsmith Village, especially Hotaru Haganezuka, whom he sees as his rival. Artistic differences? Probably.

One of his abilities is creating grotesque tableaux with his victims’ bodies. He’s also quite obsessed with his vases and has terrifying summoning abilities.

Upper 6: Daki And Gyutaro

Last is a duo. While Daki and Gyutaro were former Upper Rank demons, they deserve a place here on this list because of their impact on the anime’s story.

Their backstory is quite dramatic, as they were brother-and-sister abused and neglected, pushing them to roam the streets of the Entertaining District when they were still humans. Later on, Doma turned them into demons. The only way to defeat the duo is to behead their heads simultaneously.

“Demon Slayer” follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teenager who strives to become a Demon Slayer after seeing his family slaughtered and Nezuko, his younger sister, is turned into a demon.
