Trials of Osiris returns to Destiny 2. The new Trials vendor and announcer is Saint-14, he and his wares can be found in the Tower Hangar every Friday at reset.
The Trials of Osiris map the and the rewards for winning a certain number of matches change each week. every reward for all players is consistent, although each weapon roll will differ for every player.
Here are the guaranteed Trials of Osiris rewards this week:
3 wins — The Scholar, kinetic scout rifle
5 wins — The Summoner, Solar auto rifle
7 wins — Tomorrow’s Answer, Void rocket launcher
Flawless — Gloves, Gauntlets, Grips of the Exile (Warlock, Titan, Hunter arms)
Note: Players can complete the End Game weekly bounty as of Season of Arrivals. Which only needs Trials match completions (wins give more progress) — for the three-win reward.
Players who get to seven wins without a single loss can go to the Lighthouse social space, which is called a Flawless run. The Lighthouse offers additional rewards, some are unique like a special emblem. Players who reach the Lighthouse get a special armor glow for their Trials of Osiris armor that lasts the remainder of the weekend.
Black Myth: Wukong is an action-adventure game from Game Science, an indie Chinese studio, and has swept the internet off its feet quite recently. It was practically an unknown game, but after its trailer was released, it garnered millions of views and earned approval from gamers across the globe.
This is a big deal because China’s video game community is usually known for free-to-play games, but now, they have a Triple-A contender in Black Myth. Not only did their 13-minute demo reel become viral on YouTube and Bilibili (a Chinese video site), but it was also trending on Weibo, TikTok, and Douyin.
Upon viewing the trailer, you can see just how remarkable the gameplay is and there are no words to describe how good the visuals are. Game Science has yet to announce a release date, but they plan to release it on PC as well as other platforms. As a result, many expect Black Myth: Wukong to be launched on consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, as well.

The formula of the gameplay is very much Souls-like, which is something that a lot of gamers enjoy. The plot is also captivating, as it follows the retelling of Journey to the West, a Chinese mythology epic.

Although the game’s release won’t be anytime soon, many believe that demo couldn’t have come at a better time. After all, Microsoft and Sony are looking for games to to boost the sales of the upcoming consoles.
Ducain23 a level creator says he spent 30 to 40 hours re-creating the Halo Infinite gameplay footage revealed at its Games Showcase last month by Microsoft. For those who want to check it out, download the level from Halo Waypoint and play it inside Halo 5: Forge.
The Halo Infinite gameplay centers on Master Chief the protagonist going through enemies with different weapons inside the Halo universe. It features a variety of familiar enemies, weapons, and vehicles all of which were used in the Ducain23 demo.
An announcement by Microsoft earlier this month stated that Halo Infinite had been pushed back from its expected holiday launch to 2021. Microsoft stated that a variety of factors are to blame, including how difficult and complex it is designing a video game in the middle of a pandemic. The tech giant didn’t, however, acknowledge the graphics concerns players had brought to light.
Even though Microsoft and 343 Industries pushed back the Halo Infinite launch to some time next year, players won’t necessarily need to wait to get a feel for the game thanks to the hard work and effort by one of the community members Ducain23.
A few months ago, 11-Bit Studios announced On The Edge, the final DLC for the city management survival game Frostpunk. As such, players have been both excited and melancholic about the fact that after this release, they can’t expect any future ones.
On The Edge is the third expansion for Frostpunk, and this DLC finally lets you leave the confines of the city where you can create a better and brighter future for yourself. However, just because you get to venture outside of New London, this doesn’t mean you can entirely relax. After all, it’s still a survival game. This means you still have to consider the different ways you can survive.

Project Lead and Lead Game Designer, Jakub Stokalski, says the following about this ending:
“Frostpunk has been a long journey for us and for the players. Years of development and a ton of content released after the premiere, and now the final chapter comes in marking huge growth of the IP on both gameplay and narrative layers. Every expansion introduced new mechanics, twisting and enlarging the game, from the prequel story told in The Last Autumn to the after-storm events presented in the closing scenario – On The Edge.”
Some consider Frostpunk to be a pretty uncomplicated game, however, it can undoubtedly be a bit difficult for those who have a hard time multitasking. With On The Edge, though, players will be faced with an extra layer of difficulty. Not only will you have to manage tasks as well as manage the resources you have, the DLC you trading with other communities, among other things.

Some information in the Naturalist files were found by a code-diver that should make some Red Dead Redemption 2 content creators thrilled.
@VideoTech_ took a dive into the files of Red Dead Redemption 2 July 28 Naturalist update and discovered a “new mention” that wasn’t present in the Moonshiner DLC. What the code-diver found was some text that referenced Director Mode and blocked Jack Marston in this mode, which leads the Twitter user to believe Director Mode will be “likely” coming, sadly without Marston as a playable character.
Director Mode is likely happening. It appears Jack Marston won't be a playable character according to this new mention in the files. This new mention was leftover in 'ambientpedmodelsets.meta' from the Naturalist update.
With Director Mode, content creators will be able to create interactions between characters that wouldn’t be possible in the main game. With a whole new range of options and tools for creators, This would be great for the Machinima and digital movie-making communities that Red Dead Redemption has as a community in general.
There’s still a lot that’s unconfirmed because this is just a leak, although people would be glad to see it coming to the game. It’s uncertain whether it is coming in a future update or to next-gen consoles. Many comments on the original tweet seem to think the latter. For Director Mode to come to RDR2 it would also mean the Rockstar Editor would most likely need to come as well, which hasn’t happened yet. Red Dead Redemption fans are still excited to see Director Mode whether it comes sooner or later.
Since its initial release, Crossfire: Warzone received its very first major update on August 20, 2020. The customization system in the game has gotten a whole lot better since this update, allowing players to sharpen their creativity by better personalizing their characters.
For one thing, players will be able to change base skins as well as add a custom frame to their commander portrait. Not only that, you can even customize the chat bubble and name tag for when you’re in the chatroom. This is great if you want to stand out from the crowd.
Another thing worth mentioning is the new community-driven event called the Alliance Festival. This event gives the players’ in-game alliances the option to appoint different missions to individual members. It’s highly recommended that the mission should be finished before the deadline in order for the alliance to receive a point. At the end of the event, the alliance will add all the points accumulated and the reward they receive will depend on that. In other words, team effort is a must if you wish to succeed in this event.
This major update will also introduce the Challenger Pass, which is Crossfire: Warzone’s version of a season pass content according to a press release. The Challenger Pass will only be 42 days, and those who get to acquire this pass will have the opportunity to earn rewards by doing and completing various missions.
Not only that, but a base skin, a chat bubble, and the legendary officer “Jean” will be given as a reward to those who have a Challenger Pass. What makes Crossfire: Warzone’s pass different than the others is the fact that players can still participate in this even though they don’t have one.
The update is now available for all Crossfire: Warzone players, so get it now in order for you to make use of all these great, new features.

Cyberpunk 2077’s Collector’s edition is sadly sold out everywhere as of the moment.
Launching on October 29, Watch Dogs: Legion is an action-adventure game that so many people are looking forward to this year. However, during E3 last year, it was announced that the characters you recruit and grow to love could die permanently. Understandably, fans all over the world were disheartened by this news, as the chances to grow attached to the characters are high.
The good news is that in a Reddit AMA, creative director Clint Hocking was able to clarify some things for us. There, he stated clearly that permadeath can be toggled on and off.
“Difficulty and Permadeath are separate options. You can play in Easy Normal or Hard, and you can play with Permadeath on or off in any difficulty.”
In an interview, Lead Producer Sean Crooks said that if you do choose to disable permadeath, there will be a 30-minute cooldown time for the characters. It all depends on what happens or what the situation is, though. For example, the character gets badly injured, then the 30-minute cooldown time would be the time they spend in the hospital getting medically treated.
On another note, it was recently announced that the NPCs on Watch Dogs: Legion have a set schedule that they follow. By unlocking a certain ability in the game, you will be able to know each NPC’s schedule, allowing you to control when or how you decide to recruit someone.
Watch Dogs: Legion will be available to play on different consoles, such as the PlayStation 4 and 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, and Stadia.
COVID-19 — a deadly disease that has taken over the world and required everyone to stay within the safe confines of their homes. In response to this, researchers and students from the EPFL College of Humanities (CDH) and UNIL Gamelab collaborated with the Initiative for Media Innovation (IMI) and Le Temps to create an interactive game showing what the past few months have been like as we all isolated ourselves in our houses.
Countless questions and worries go through our head on a daily basis, such as “How do you stay entertained?” or “How can I stay focused as I work from home?” Most of us haven’t seen our friends in a while, nor have we had physical contact just to try and stay safe.
In order to explore and find the answers to our questions, researcher Yannick Rochat believed that a narrative game would be the perfect medium, showing the various ways different struggle and how they respond to it. Rochat states:
“Video games can convey information as well as emotions. The idea behind this game is to have a testimony to this period in history that has impacted us all. For a newspaper like Le Temps and for a researcher like myself, it is important to document and keep an account of these experiences.”
On August 20, 2020, Rochat and his team composing of graphic designers, programmers, and the like, released Quatre Apparts et un Confinement or Four Condos and a Containment. This is a series of choose-your-own-adventure stories that act out the lives of fictional neighbors as they live in solitude.
The game was developed around June and July 2020 with the cooperation of Andrew Dobis (EPFL student), Paul Ronga (Le Temps journalist), Saara Jones (UNIL student), Mathias Hängärtner (graphic designer), and Mounir Krichane (IMI Director).
The game is easy enough to understand, albeit it is in French. All you have to do is click through the different apartments and engage in the lives of each character. You will bear witness to their worries, their frustrations, and other emotional turmoil they may be experiencing during this difficult time. You might even be able to relate to some of the characters.
The game currently has an open-source code, so the creators are inviting others to publish the game into other languages as well, so that more people will be able to experience this one-of-a-kind game.
TERA is a fantasy MMORPG that has recently dipped its toes into MOBA territory by introducing TERA: Battle Arena, a team-based battle game. Battle Arena will be able to provide a fresh look and feel to the way combat works, all the while allowing you to play as characters you know and love from TERA.
“Exploring TERA‘s world of Arborea and playing dungeons certainly is a unique and memorable experience, but we thought it would be great if even more players could experience some of the well-known TERA action in short sessions. Creating content focused on battles everyone can readily participate in without grinding for armor is one of the purposes of developing the TERA Battle Arena”
The developers also mentioned that they made Battle Arena much easier to understand, especially for new players who don’t have prior knowledge to the many skills you can find and use on TERA. The map for the game also has different kinds of objectives that will help teams achieve victory.
Recently, there has been some buzz about the game because the first batch of heroes has been revealed. For now, skills and descriptions have also been released, but these are still prior to change since the game is still a work in progress.
A hero spotlight was posted on the TERA website, along with an overview of the abilities and backgrounds. However, here’s a summarized list on the characters you can expect:
