A year ago, Ni No Kuni developers Level-5 in Japan revealed that they were working on a new title to the hit JRPG game. They also announced that the new game would be available to mobile phone users. A few hours ago, the game now has a title – Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds and will be available on the mobile as a full-fledged MMORPG.

First announced November last year, the game received fresh marketing this week along with its official website going online and a new trailer. The website contains a decent amount of information about the new Ni No Kuni game including its story.
This time, players will play the role of beta testers for a virtual reality game. They soon realize the world they are playing in is actually real leading to an unexpected adventure where they will fight enemies to rebuild the kingdom and save both worlds from chaos.

Game details
According to the developers, Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds is an MMO-friendly spin of the original game which features quick real-time action which players can spice up while utilizing the original game’s unique familiarities.
The game will also feature and focus on kingdom-building mechanics which made the series so famous on the PlayStation 4. Each player will control a kingdom of their own and will be able to fight other gamers in PvP mode. Winning these battles will increase a kingdom’s influence which affects the events that play around it.
The new Ni No Kuni game sounds extremely ambitious for a mobile game. However, the developers stated that Cross Worlds will only be released to mobile devices in Japan for now.
