Launch Date Announced for Tekken 7 Season Pass 4

The Tekken franchise has been around for quite a long time now, and so it unsurprisingly has a huge fanbase at this point. These fans will be happy to know that Bandai Namco will be releasing the fourth season pass of Tekken 7 very soon.

The trailer for the Season Pass 4 was released earlier in September, and back then the only information about its release window was a vague Fall 2020. Now, however, the Tekken Project team has finally revealed the release date for the fourth season pass.

According to a tweet posted by the official Tekken Twitter account, Tekken 7 Season Pass 4 will be going live this upcoming November 10 and it will be jampacked with all kinds of new content.

Some examples of the new additions to the game is a new stage with a Japanese theme called Vermilion Gates, as well as the highly anticipated new character, Kunimitsu, the “Manji Ninja Arts” user.

She will be a new playable fighter in Tekken’s roster, which is always an exciting thing. In addition to that, Kunimitsu will have three unique costumes for players to choose from. That being said, this wouldn’t be the first time that Kunimitsu made an appearance in Tekken, although her inclusion in Tekken 7 will be her first appearance since 1995’s Tekken 2.

Fans will also be happy to know that they will be able to benefit from numerous updates beginning this November 9. All the available characters in Tekken 7 will have new moves along with balance changes.

Not only that, some parts of the game will have updated UIs, such as the health bars that you see during a match as well as the menus. This time around, the developer will be focusing on improving the online play of Tekken.

There will be new ranking introduced as well, and players will be able to make their way to a new rank known as “Tekken God Omega.” Among other things, the new trailer also showcased the celebration of Pac-Man‘s 40th anniversary.

As such, you willd find that Tekken 7 Season Pass 4 will include a themed arena stage that will have a Pac-Man statue in the background. There’s more, though – players will also have access to exclusive in-game items such as UI skins, t-shirts, and plushies.

That being said, other popular names have celebrated the 40th anniversary of the arcade icon as well. For instance, the virtual band known as The Gorillaz has released a Pac-Man song along with a music video. Hasbro also participated in the festivities by creating a unique edition of Monopoly that features an arcade cabinet.

Tekken fans have a lot of things to look forward to in this season pass asides from Kunimitsu. The Tekken Project team has also confirmed at the end of the new trailer that fans can look forward to a new character and stage for the second half of the season pass, which will be released in the spring of 2021.

Despite being such a long-standing game, Tekken is still well-loved by many in the video game community. In fact, the series has sold over 50 million copies overall. As such, fans will still surely gobble up all this new Tekken content.
