For the last couple of weeks, Respawn Entertainment has been teasing fans with details regarding Apex Legends Season 7, such as when the new legend Horizon issued a couple of missions to players in-game.
Fans have been looking forward to the release of Season 7, which was initially set to go live on November 10. However, it seems that this is no longer the case. It’s worth noting that Respawn Entertainment hasn’t made any official announcements just yet, but it appears that the upcoming season will begin on November 4, a week earlier than planned.
This brand-new information was revealed by Shrugtal, who is one of Apex Legends’ most reliable dataminers. According to the leaker, they were able to discover new code in the game’s files which indicated that the season has a new release date.
At first, this information went against the in-game Battle Pass menu. However, this menu has been recently updated, and it now states that instead of 21 days, players only have 14 days left to complete their Battle Pass for Season 6.
In other words, we can conclude that Season 7 will begin as soon as Apex Legends’ Halloween Fight or Fright event is done.

As mentioned, Respawn Entertainment hasn’t addressed this yet. Fans are still waiting for the company to provide some kind of explanation for this sudden change, but there are speculations circulating that it’s probably because of the fact that Season 6 was delayed.
To be more specific, there’s a chance that Season 7’s original launch date was November 4 if Season 6 was not pushed back. The sudden change brings with it both good news and bad news.
On the bright side, this means that excited fans will be able to try out the new features included in Season 7. However, this also means that fans now have less time to finish their Battle Pass for the current season. This can be a cause for concern for those players who haven’t made a lot of progress yet.
While players always have the option to purchase Battle Pass levels by using Apex Legends’ in-game currency, they would have to fork over actual money if they want to easily accumulate enough of the Apex Coins. Obviously, this is something that many fans aren’t willing to do.
In any case, there’s a lot to look forward to in Season 7. Asides from the introduction of Horizon, Shrugtal also discovered through datamining that Apex Legends might be including a new arena mode.

Arena modes are a common feature in many battle royale games these days such as Fortnite, and it’s usually used to participate in professional play. As a matter of fact, Fortnite’s arena mode is where players go to if they want to unlock events related to professional tournaments.
As such, it’s possible that Respawn Entertainment will be offering something similar to Apex Legends fans with this addition.
In other news, it appears that the wall-running mechanic from Respawn’s Titanfall series has been implemented in Apex Legends for its Halloween event this year.
Although this addition is minor enough to be considered insignificant, fans are holding on to the hope that this is an indication that the Titanfall series hasn’t been entirely forgotten just yet.
