Genshin Impact Update 1.4 Trailer Introduces Rosaria

A new trailer for Genshin Impact 1.4 update has been published ahead of its unveiling livestream, confirming Rosaria as the game’s next heroine. After the organization recently released the last part of the already existing 1.3 update, which finally saw the addition of Genshin Impact’s newest character Hu Tao after weeks of leaks and speculation. Now, developer MiHoYo has been steadily revealing details on the 1.4 update.

MiHoYo revealed at a recent developers’ meeting that they plan to make updates to the game’s resin system, including growing the maximum amount of condensed resin that a player may have at any given moment.

The developer also mentioned that it would be making improvements to Genshin Impact’s adventure rank and world level systems, but exact specifics will be revealed during the 1.4 update reveal live stream.

Several hours before the start of the reveal live stream, MiHoYo posted the trailer for Genshin Impact’s 1.4 update. Rosaria will eventually be added to the game’s roster when the update drops on March 17, 2021, according to the teaser titled “Invitation of Windblume.”

The addition of Rosaria to the game’s 1.4 update fully confirms the Genshin Impact reports and rumors that have been circulating over the past few weeks. Venti will be eligible for players to summon again in conjunction with Rosaria’s arrival. When the game first launched in September 2020, Venti was the game’s first limited-time 5-star character, and only a few players were able to summon him.

The game’s upcoming Windblume Festival gathering, which will feature many new mini-games analogous to the Theater Mechanicus from the recently concluded Lantern Rite Festival, was also shown off in the 1.4 update trailer.

The trailer also shows off a number of different guns that players would be able to get as part of the update, as well as what seems to be a brand-new boss that players will be forced to battle, presumably via the game’s main story quests. Finally, the trailer teases many upcoming activities, including a special Oceanid battle, an arena-style game, and new optional questlines.

While the 1.2 update launched the new Dragonspine area and the 1.3 update focused mostly on Liyue, it appears that the 1.4 update of Genshin Impact would return players to Mondstadt, where it all started. The return of Venti, the Anemo Archon, and the release of Rosaria, a member of the region’s Church of Favonius, seems particularly fitting for the occasion.

Mediatonic Reveals Fall Guys Season 4 New Skins

Big news from Fall Guy’s developer Mediatonic revealed some of the new skins that will be arriving in the game’s fourth season. Not much has been announced about the upcoming new season of Fall Guys other than it will be called Fall Guys 4041 featuring a futuristic cyberpunk theme. The new season will be the first to offer 50 levels of prizes for its Fame Path, which is the game’s version of a battle pass.

The popularity of Fall Guys and Mediatonic has prompted Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, to purchase the studio. In contrast, Mediatonic has promised fans that the acquisition would have little impact on the production of Fall Guys.

Though Season 4’s release date has yet to be announced, Fall Guys’ release on Nintendo Switch and Xbox has been confirmed this summer. This allows more people to play the funky battle royale title, which gained a lot of traction since its release in August of last year.

The latest Season 4 skins were unveiled through some of Fall Guys’ social networking sites, including Twitter, Instagram, Discord, and TikTok, with each one displaying one of the four new costumes. A dolphin mask, a Men in Black Fall Guy with a three-eyed alien perched on top of the Fall Guy, a Disco Ball costume with pom pom bracelets, and what seems to be a red hairy alien in a spacesuit are among the latest skins, which have yet to be named.

The four new skins bring the total amount of skins unveiled for Season 4 to five, with the U.F.G. skin becoming the first to be revealed last week. The new skins can be obtained via the game’s new Fame Path or the in-game store on occasion, but the new season will add a new way to obtain the new outfits. Cuphead and Mugman skins were recently launched as part of Fall Guys’ new partnership, and each can be purchased with crowns.

Season 4 of Fall Guys seems to be almost as wild as the previous three seasons, and while it won’t be released on the Switch or Xbox platforms for a while, those that have access to the game on the PC and PlayStation 4 still have a lot to look forward to when the next season starts, whenever that could be. In the meantime, players will also want to take advantage of Fall Guys Season 3.5, which has brought a whole new dimension to the franchise.

Since its modest origins with Disgaea: Hour of Darkness on the PlayStation 2, the Disgaea series has become one of the big cornerstones of strategy RPGs. The Disgaea series had nearly 20 years of popularity, with Disgaea 6 only around the corner for western fans, combining eccentric anime conventions with demanding tactical RPG gameplay.

Disgaea 6 is a Switch-exclusive western title that departs from the previous five games by using “chibi-style” 3D models of the characters instead of standard sprite artwork. Despite the fact that Disgaea 6 is designed with beginners in mind, the game’s gameplay remains unchanged, including its absurdly high level and damage limit.

Following a statement from Sohei Niikawa, President of NIS and developer of the Disgaea franchise, NIS America posted a trailer confirming bonus content for Disgaea 6. Niikawa, dressed as the Disgaea series’ mascot Prinny, comments on the series’ 18-year past. Disgaea was never intended to be popular outside of Japan, far less see a release outside of the country, he admits, humbled by the series’ popularity.

New Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Character Mythra and Pyra Moveset & Release Date Revealed

Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sometime this March, according to Nintendo’s most recent Nintendo Direct event last February 17, 2021. Shortly after, Masahiro Sakurai, the developer of the Super Smash Bros. franchise, held a demonstration featuring the two characters, revealing that Pyra and Mythra would be entering the game’s roster as the ninth DLC fighters later today.

Pyra and Mythra first appeared in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which was released back on December 1, 2017, for Nintendo Switch. Monolith Soft, the first-party Nintendo studio once run by Bandai Namco and responsible for beloved JRPGs like Xenosaga and, on the Switch, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, created the game. The open-world action RPG has been a cult success on the Switch, leading Monolith Soft to release Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition in 2020, a port of the original Wii title.

Pyra and Mythra will be launched on the Nintendo eShop as the newest warriors to enter Super Smash Bros. Ultimate after Final Fantasy 7’s Sephiroth was released back in January, according to Masahiro Sakurai’s presentation. He also went through Pyra and Mythra’s movesets in detail.

Although the two characters share a roster slot, they must be controlled separately; but, like Zelda and Sheik, they can be swapped out in the middle of a battle. Pyra and Mythra’s assaults are both based on their Xenoblade Chronicles 2 attacks.

Pyra’s moveset prioritizes strength with slow but powerful attacks, while Mythra prioritizes speed with quick but weaker attacks, as Sakurai points out in the presentation. Both protagonists have exclusive smash and special abilities, with some of Mythra’s moves inspired by the Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country DLC, which was published in 2018. Sakurai says that the addition of Pyra and Mythra would entice players to play Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but that certain aspects of the characters’ presence would not ruin the game for some fans.

Pyra/Mythra is the fourth character to be added to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass 2 and already has a total of six players. A recent theory suggests that Monster Hunter or Crash Bandicoot will be the next characters to enter the game, but this seems impossible now that Monster Hunter Mii costumes will be released alongside Pyra and Mythra. It is unknown when Nintendo will reveal the next character, although it is expected to happen at the next Nintendo Direct show, which will most likely take place in the summer.

Apex Legends New Chaos Theory Collection Event Revealed

Chaos Theory, Apex Legends’ most recent collection event, will introduce a slew of new features, including a new Caustic-themed town invasion, an escalating limited-time mode (LTM) centered on the ring, and a new Heirloom pack for Bangalore.

The event will last two weeks and will include the standard 24 premium cosmetic items required to access the heirloom set, as well as a free rewards track. It will begin on March 9 and will coincide with the Nintendo Switch launch of Apex Legends.

The latest Caustic town takeover will be a permanent improvement to Kings Canyon, Apex Legends’ first map, which will also remove Mirage Voyage. For starters, BlizzCon Online took place in February, which revealed exciting announcements and updates for a variety of Blizzard games. One of the games that was highlighted during the online event was the highly anticipated Diablo 2: Resurrected.

The event revealed what fans can expect in the remaster, including new and improved visuals and graphics, along with new functionality that transforms the classic game into a more modern one. Despite all the new features, however, the developer assures fans that Diablo 2: Resurrected will still offer the same authentic gameplay and feel that the original Diablo 2 had.

Some fans were skeptical about how serious Vicarious Visions was when it comes to remaining authentic. However, given the information revealed recently, it appears that the developer is dead serious. In fact, the studio even confirmed recently that the remaster won’t have any form of microtransactions, as the original game didn’t have these either. Not only that, it seems that even the players’ original save files can still play a role.

Matthew Cederquist, the producer of Diablo 2: Resurrected, said in an interview that the upcoming remaster will be able to support the save files of the original title.
