Zombieland Headshot Fever VR Game Announced

Inspired by the hit film, Sony Pictures Virtual Reality has announced Zombieland: Headshot Fever, a VR shooter with the same cast of characters as the movie that will be released later this year.

In contrast to other zombie movies, Zombieland was an instant hit when it was released in 2009 and has since been a cult favorite due to its comedic theme and a grim sense of humor. The film, which stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone, is about shooting and destroying zombies, and Sony’s latest VR game will be no different.

The aim of Headshot Fever is to destroy as many zombies as possible in the shortest amount of time possible while taking the role of the same cast of characters: Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock.

Set possibly after the events of Zombieland and Zombieland: Double Tap, the group is safely staying in the finest billionaire’s mansion they could find when they bump into a player hiding inside one of the house’s panic rooms. The quartet then agrees to train the player in the Zombieland Invitational, the world’s worst zombie-killing racecourse, in order to make him the greatest zombie killer of all time.

Zombieland: Headshot Fever, developed by XR Games, continues the running gag of the rules, in which the game boasts a variety of features that seem to be influenced by zombie arcade modes seen in Time Crisis and House of the Dead.

Players will have access to a variety of strong and upgradeable firearms, such as pistols, shotguns, and submachine guns; however, Headshot Fever’s latest Adrenaline system, which slows time, is the game’s key appeal. And it seems that getting high scores can unlock firearms and perks.

In the latest zombie shooter, the quickest time wins so that players can compete against others and their peers in Headshot Fever’s leaderboards. Although it’s unclear if there would be a cooperative mode in which players will mow down waves of zombies with their buddies and roommates, this model by XR Games will be ideal for a co-op mode.

XR Games managed by business experts who have worked with teams at Rockstar, EA, Codemasters, Sunmo, and Team 17. As a fan of the series, Bobby Thandi, the creator and CEO of XR, posted on the game’s announcement, stating that being trusted with Zombieland is “extra satisfying and thrilling.”

Zombieland Headshot Fever is scheduled for a Spring 2021 release for Windows Mixed Reality, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, HTC Hive, and later on, the PS VR.

Valorant Players Using New Agent Astra Discover Game-Breaking Bug

If you’re a gamer, then you’re most likely used to bugs and glitches by now, especially if the kind of game you play still receives regular updates and additions from its developer. It’s an understandable occurrence, and doesn’t really cause that much annoyance and frustration unless it happens way too often.

Let’s take Riot Games’ tactical first-person hero shooter, Valorant, for example. It seems that with every new update, a new bug winds up in the game. In fact, the developer and publisher had to roll back a major update in the past because of extreme technical issues. This time around, fans have discovered a new game-breaking bug that can significantly (and negatively) impact the way players play as Astra.

Astra is Valorant’s most recent agent, who was introduced with the launch of Episode 2, Act 2. Astra is literally and metaphorically heavenly as a character, with her cosmic abilities that allow her to turn the tables. No matter which ability she uses though, they all require her to make use of her Astral Form, where she needs to situate her Stars in different areas of the map and later activate when needed.

screenshot-www-youtube-com-2021-03-05-08_48_34

The bug was first discovered by a Twitch streamer who goes by the handle Lexeratv. Specifically, it occurred when he entered Astra’s Astral Form. After being in this form for a brief moment, Lexeratv soon discovered that he couldn’t move, perform any of the agent’s abilities, and most importantly, he couldn’t seem to get out of the Astral Form.

The streamer had no choice except to remain useless and vulnerable for a period of time. The only way Lexeratv escaped the glitched out Astral Form was when he was shot and consequently eliminated by an enemy player. It appears that other Astra users also encountered this very same glitch when they attempted to leave the Astral Form.

This kind of game-breaking bug is definitely the last thing that Astra users want or need. From the get-go, using Astra’s Astral Form is already a risk for the agent. After all, the real form of Astra is left vulnerable to attacks if ever an enemy comes across her corporeal body.

It’s somewhat similar to the way Omen and Brimstone are left temporarily vulnerable every time they’re busy placing smokes. It appears that this bug happens randomly, which can greatly affect one’s gameplay. It could even cause players to lose a match if the glitch strikes at the worst time.

screenshot-www-youtube-com-2021-03-05-08_47_22

Another possibility is that the Ascent map could play a role in this glitch. This particular map has been ripe with bugs and glitches ever since its release, so it’s possible that Riot Games wasn’t able to optimize the map properly for the new agent just yet. It doesn’t look like the developer is aware of the issue yet, or at least Riot hasn’t acknowledged it for now.

At this point, all we can do is hope that Riot will release a resolution as soon as possible so that players will be able to enjoy Astra again.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut Developer Assures Fans of March Release

Developer ZA/UM revealed Disco Elysium: The Final Cut during The Game Awards 2020, which is basically an extended version of the initial Disco Elysium game. Not only was it revealed to be a free addition, it was also announced that this version will come with a director’s cut.

Naturally, fans of Disco Elysium were thrilled by this news. However, developer ZA/UM hasn’t shared any updates about it recently, which has made excited fans worried that its release would be pushed back. Fortunately, the developer was quick to reassure fans by confirming that Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will still be launching this March 2021.

Apparently, The Final Cut was supposed to be the version of Disco Elysium that ZA/UM wanted to release from the start. Even though the studio’s plans deviated from what they initially wanted to do, Disco Elysium still became a massive hit when it launched back in 2019.

For a little context, Disco Elysium isn’t like your regular RPG, where you have to fight battles and/or defeat powerful bosses. Instead, it’s more of a murder mystery with political intrigue, where you take control of an amnesiac detective. Narrative plays such a significant role in Disco Elysium, which isn’t surprising, seeing as the founder of ZA/UM is a published fiction novelist.

ss_ab38615b3a1d0d4309f06772db4bd9db5c250ef7-1920x1080-2141626

It was still a huge hit despite being an incredibly unique take on the RPG genre, so much so that it was able to win numerous awards and even bagged the coveted Game of the Year award by various publications. With Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, this extended version will simply expand upon the different aspects of what makes the original release a great title.

Namely, it will give you more freedom than ever before to explore the characters, cutscenes, and even the new storylines. Not only that, The Final Cut will have full voice acting from start to end, which makes it up to 1.2 million words. No wonder why both old and new fans are extremely excited about its release.

That being said, developer ZA/UM has been disconcertingly silent about Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, which has naturally made the fanbase worry. Some have even begun to speculate that the game would be delayed like so many other titles these days. Fortunately, a developer from ZA/UM posted a message on Disco Elysium’s Discord server, stating that “the game is releasing in March for sure.”

The developer, who goes by the name “Mikk” on the server, further explained that it’s not that easy for the new features to “sync and cooperate” with the old game, and that they want all the players to receive “the same coherent experience we’ve designed.”

Update by the devs! from DiscoElysium

Even though ZA/UM hasn’t announced a specific release date just yet, fans can rest assured that Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will be released some time within the month. We’re still a few days into March, so there’s still a lot of time. There’s a chance that the developer will launch it as a surprise, seeing as it’s not only popular but highly anticipated too. In any case, keep your eyes peeled.

More Monsters from Monster Hunter World Will Be Added to Monster Hunter Rise

There’s a bunch of games that the gaming community is looking forward to, and included in this list is Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise for the Nintendo Switch. Even though the Monster Hunter franchise was already popular to begin with, it became even bigger with the release of Monster Hunter World, which is a game that slightly deviated from the usual handheld gaming format of the series.

Monster Hunter World was able to bring in new fans of the series, while also introducing brand-new visuals and incredible graphics. Among other things, this highly acclaimed title also brought in new monsters into the Monster Hunter series, and now, it appears that those memorable creatures will be making their way to Monster Hunter Rise as well.

Of course, this doesn’t really come as a surprise. Capcom previously confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will be seeing some familiar monsters from Monster Hunter World. After the limited time demo for Rise was released, fans soon discovered that the monsters Barioth, Tigrex, and Rathalos would also be in this upcoming game. Although, it’s worth noting that these three aren’t only exclusive to Monster Hunter World.

However, Capcom recently posted a brand-new video on the official Monster Hunter Twitter account. Although the video is brief, it shows all the Monster Hunter World exclusive monsters that will be returning to Monster Hunter Rise.

https://twitter.com/monsterhunter/status/1367384320495808517?s=20

Specifically, some of the confirmed returning monsters include the Tobi-Kadachi, Pukei-Pukei, Anjanath, Kulu-Ya-Ku, and Jyuratodus. These monsters actually also have different variants, such as the Fulgur Anjanath or the Coral Pukei-Pukei. However, the clip that Capcom posted simply showcased the original forms of these monsters.

Now that Capcom has announced these monsters for Monster Hunter Rise, the upcoming title now has a total of 55 confirmed monsters so far. But we believe the developer will reveal even more, as we draw nearer and nearer to the game’s release date.

For those who haven’t been keeping tabs on Monster Hunter Rise, the upcoming title will be set in Kamura Village. This village is considered to be the players’ base, where they can rest and recharge before heading out to hunt for monsters. Players will be able to look for village quests from Kamura’s various NPCs, with Capcom previously revealing that Monster Hunter Rise can be completed in about 20 to 30 hours if players purely focus on doing these quests.

Of course, long-time Monster Hunter fans know that the titles in this franchise contain a bunch of side quests and activities that players can do even though the main story is already done. Half of the fun in Monster Hunter games has to do with the crafting—most of the time, hunters spend a lot of time grinding in-game in order to gather materials and resources to craft armor and weapons that can help them defeat stronger monsters.

Seeing as Monster Hunter Rise will be seeing both new and returning monsters, it’s safe to say that players can look forward to some cool-looking armor for pet companions and hunters.

New PS4 Firmware Update Will Add Requested Features But Remove Communities

The latest software upgrade for the PS4 includes several concessions, such as the addition of some requested functionality and the removal of Communities. Many developers are still supporting and developing games for Sony’s last-generation console, and new titles are still launched on it. Though Sony and Microsoft try to expand availability for stores and customers, the new console generation is still finding its footing. Its ancestor remains the go-to for many gamers.

As a result, cross-platform play has grown in popularity among gamers, with games including Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War promoting it. Furthermore, PS5 owners will be able to play several of their favorite PS4 exclusives on the latest machine, including Ghost of Tsushima and Final Fantasy VII Remake, the latter of which recently confirmed the release of the Yuffie DLC for the PS5. If the game market shifts toward the next generation of consoles, holding the prior console generation up to date is vital to maintaining consumer support.

ps4-playstation-4-firmware-update-8-00-original-original-4595540

According to MP1ST, the latest PS4 software update introduces several features while taking out others. The main feature of the update is the ability for users to switch alerts on or off for specific groups in messages.

Additionally, players will also be able to request to enter a game from session leaders, who can then welcome participants to their game. The update also allows players greater privacy while playing secret games since other players would no longer be able to see what they are doing. Finally, Communities will no longer be accessible.

Firmware updates are technology’s unsung heroes. Their application benefits phones, controllers, consoles, routers, and other devices. Despite the fact that it is no longer Sony’s most sophisticated device, the PS4 is indeed a fantastic piece of technical innovation with a large consumer base. Before Sony is able to mass manufacture the PS5 at a faster pace (after the world reopens), many fans will undoubtedly prefer using the previous-generation console.

Gamers have a reputation for being blunt and able to point out flaws. If Sony fails to keep the PS4 updated after the release of the PS5 in November 2020, it will be widely publicized. Fortunately, lockdowns could be removed in the foreseeable future, allowing Sony to bring more PS5s into the hands of consumers and eventually phase out the PS4, particularly if the current-generation device continues to accept backward compatibility with PS4 games.

Apex Legends Now Allows Solo Play with New ‘No Fill’ Option

0
screenshot-www-youtube-com-2021-03-05-08_18_18

Apex Legends players can look forward to a bunch of new features that’s headed for the online title, as Respawn Entertainment has recently confirmed. One of these additions is a new “No Fill” option. According to the update summary on Electronic Arts’ website, this new feature will allow solo players to still queue into a match even though they’re not part of a team.

Without a doubt, Respawn Entertainment’s free-to-play first-person hero shooter is one of the biggest, most popular battle royales available right now. One of the reasons why Apex Legends stands out even though the industry is quite saturated at this point is partly because of its gameplay format.

Specifically, Apex Legends players simply fight other teams in groups of three, unlike other team-based shooters which require five or six players for each team. For quite a while now, Apex Legends players have been requesting Respawn Entertainment to add a feature that allows them to join a match solo in order to avoid teaming up with unhelpful players or players who simply want to mess around. Having this kind of teammate is, of course, frustrating, especially if you’re aiming to win the match.

apex-screenshot-season-8-fuse-knife-games-jpg-adapt_-crop16x9-818p-7779519

With this newest patch, however, it appears that fans will finally get their request. While it will allow players to play solo, it will also come with some limits. If you check the Apex Legends lobby, you’ll now find a new checkbox option called “Fill Matchmaking.” As a default, this box will be marked check, and queuing into a match with this option enabled will put you into either Duos or Trios, depending on which mode you initially chose.

If you want to play solo, however, you simply just have to uncheck the box before queuing into a match. Keep in mind that this means you’ll be thrown into a match with enemy players who are part of a team of two or three, while you’ll have no one to rely on but yourself.

Although Apex Legends was initially created as a team-based multiplayer game, this new solo mode will definitely allow you and other players to come up with unique and creative strategies to ensure they survive against the other teams.

Of course, there are other possible reasons why someone would want to play on their own. In the aforementioned post, playing without a team could be a great way to warm up as well as for doing weekly challenges. If you play solo, you don’t need to worry about dragging down your teammates or being the one dragged—you can simply focus on shooting other players, especially if you just want to practice.

apex-blog-image-chaos-theory-crossplay-jpg-adapt_-1456w-9712309

This is also a great feature to have when a new legend gets introduced into the game, as it allows you to practice the new character and learn how they play. But as mentioned, Respawn Entertainment has implemented some limitations to this new option.

For one thing, the “No Fill” option won’t be available for ranked matches. Not only that, each match will only be limited to having six solo players. In any case, it’s still wonderful that Respawn added this new mode. Not only will players be happy with it, but it’s also a clear sign that the developer is really listening to its fans and making an effort to add in their requests.

However, some fans find that Respawn should have just added a Singles mode to keep things balanced. After all, a team composed of three or two players will undoubtedly destroy a solo player in a match. Who knows? Perhaps Respawn will add this option in the future. For now, players who want an extra challenge can go ahead and queue as a solo player.

Fall Guys Developer Mediatonic Gets Bought by Epic Games

Much to the surprise of the gaming community, it has been confirmed that Epic Games acquired Mediatonic, the developer of the highly acclaimed platformer battle royale Fall Guys. Mediatonic made the announcement official via its social media platforms a few days ago.

Ever since Fall Guys was launched in August last year, the multiplayer title saw nearly immediate success. It brought on a fresh new take on the battle royale genre, as its developer found inspiration in shows such as Takeshi’s Castle and Wipeout. In Fall Guys, payers take control of bean-like characters who wear different costumes.

They then take part in a variety of mini-games to try and win a crown. Fall Guys is currently on Season 3.5, with the game recently revealing that its upcoming Season 4 will have a futuristic theme entitled “Fall Guys 4041.” When Mediatonic broke the news on Twitter, it came with a very disturbing GIF of what looks to be an elongated Fall Guys bean doing renowned Fortnite dance moves.

Image

The developer explains the acquisition further in Mediatonic’s official website, where it revealed that Fall Guys team has apparently “grown massively from 35 to 150+.” Of course, this acquisition has made some fans skeptical, as not everyone is fond of Epic Games and the titles it releases. However, Mediatonic has assured fans that “gameplay isn’t changing,” and that being under Epic Games’ wing will only help the game and the team for the better.

Namely, with the help of Epic Games, Mediatonic will be able to “bring Fall Guys to as many players as possible, while continuing to support the community.” Fall Guys will be on a much bigger and wider platform, which means that it will get the same support as popular games like Fortnite and Rocket League. The latter was also brought under Epic Games’ umbrella when Psyonix was acquired by the company in 2019.

Mediatonic also listed some of the new features that fans can look forward to now that it will be receiving support from Epic. Specifically, account systems, cross-play, squad vs squad modes, and more—features that are already available in Fortnite and Rocket League.

As for any free-to-play announcements, Mediatonic says that there’s no news to announce at the moment. However, interested gamers will still be able to purchase Fall Guys from both Steam and the PlayStation Store. Further in the post, the developer explains why it chose to Epic Games. Apparently, the two companies have been “mutual fans for a while,” and in fact, both have come to find that they also “share a lot of the same goals.”

Thus, it makes sense for them to be working together. In an effort to appease the fans and possibly to avoid getting review bombed like Rocket League was upon acquisition, Mediatonic informed fans that the same team will be working on Fall Guys. Essentially, nothing will change, except for the fact that the developer will now have more resources to help support the game and make it better that it ever could.

The Last of Us 2 Nominated for 13 BAFTA Game Awards

The Last of Us 2 by Naughty Dog has earned a record-breaking 13 nominations for the BAFTA Games Awards. The adventure survival game, which is a sequel to the highly praised The Last of Us, was published on June 19 of last year and earned similar positive reviews. The BAFTA Games Awards, which began in 2004, recognize exceptional technical accomplishments in the video game industry and have a variety of categories.

While the game’s reception was mixed among gamers, The Last of Us Part 2 has received widespread acclaim from critics, following in the footsteps of its predecessor. Since its release in 2015, the game surpassed CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3 to become the most awarded video game in the medium’s history.

At the start of this year, this list of accomplishments, which included both media channel and reader’s choice honors, stood at 261. The Last of Us Part 2 took home seven awards at The Game Awards 2020, including Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, and Best Action/Adventure Game.

With 13 nominations for the BAFTA Games Awards, The Last of Us Part 2 has now set a new milestone for the ceremony. Control and Death Stranding, both of which won 11 awards at last year’s festival, had previously kept the record.

The Last of Us Part 2 is up for awards in categories including Best Game, Game Design and Music, as well as two nominations in each of the categories of Performer in a Leading Role and Performer in a Supporting Role. On March 25, the BAFTA Games Awards will be broadcast online.

Although The Last of Us Part 2 has already received critical praise, the game’s production is not yet complete. A still-unreleased multiplayer feature, which will serve as a sequel to the competitive Factions multiplayer mode from the first title, is scheduled to arrive soon.

Although there are only little details regarding the game’s multiplayer for now, game director Neil Druckmann recently teased that more specifics would be released soon. Rumors also say that the cooperative feature has become too complex to be published as a standalone title, although this has yet to be verified.

The Last of Us Part 2 delivered a satisfactory expansion of the first game’s gameplay while still moving the series’ plot in a daring and surprising direction. Few players considered the plot to be divisive, but several others found it to be a profoundly emotional and nuanced game regarding humanity and morality. With hundreds of prizes already under its belt, The Last of Us 2’s record-breaking BAFTA Games Awards nominations are sure to result in at least a handful more.

Hogwarts Legacy Will Allow Trans Wizards & Witches Character Creation

0
hogwarts-legacy-1

The team behind Hogwarts Legacy is working hard to show that the controversy surrounding it would not define the latest game. J.K. Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, has been scrutinized online in recent years for her dismissive remarks towards transgender people, as well as retroactively turning main protagonists gay to make them more diverse. This triggered some discord within the Hogwarts Legacy team, with several members attempting to try to distance themselves as much as possible for a game that benefits Rowling.

Last summer, Hogwarts Legacy was announced as an original RPG set in the Harry Potter universe. Players will take on the role of a pupil at Hogwarts, a magical academy, decades before “the boy who lived” arrives. The game can reveal several previously unknown aspects of the universe, such as its origins as well as legendary sites.

hogwarts-legacy-knights-of-the-old-republic-5779322

The game seems to be quite promising, but recent events have raised some concerns. Troy Leavitt, the game’s lead designer, has come under scrutiny after journalist Liam Robertson learned on his own YouTube channel that he has a history of promoting controversial Gamergate rhetoric.

Warner Bros. hasn’t explicitly discussed the issue, but it has attempted to solve it in a separate manner. According to Bloomberg, creator Avalanche is attempting to incorporate trans characters in Hogwarts Legacy by allowing character creation freedom.

Regardless of body type, players can choose a male or female voice, as well as whether they’re addressed as a witch or wizard, which ultimately determines their dorm. As it was reported using unnamed information, Warner Bros. and Avalanche have not “officially” confirmed this.

It’s unknown if this was a PR stunt to win over audiences or whether it was something that had been scheduled for a long time. The release date of Hogwarts Legacy was recently pushed back from 2021 to 2022, allowing the developers more time to polish the game and ensure it measures up to the hype. There’s no exact release date yet, so it’s possible that fans will learn more later this year.

Of course, diversity is essential, but it doesn’t solve the problem – in fact, it can exacerbate it. If the developers are working to incorporate trans characters but do not personally accept them, it will have an effect on how they are portrayed. It can be done poorly, in an unappealing manner, or even without the care and attention it needs, serving more as a publicity ploy for Hogwarts Legacy rather than a radical effort at inclusivity.

Inside Online Slot Machines – A Programming Guide to Games

0
A picture containing text, person, slot machine Description automatically generated

Online slot machine games are hugely popular, and this is not a witch-hunt to condemn them, rather reveal to players how they actually work. There are thousands of online options in the category of slots and played without any care in the world with the 100-million-plus players that are online every day across the world. With a bit of insight into how the games are made, we may just help to show a bigger picture of the slot game that goes unknown and can help players pick their next games more wisely next time they log in to play some online slots.

The world of online slot machines

So, how are online slots generally preserved? Well, the common conception is that slots are rigged, to a degree this is not a too far-off statement, rigged might be a tad harsh, but they certainly are made with programming logistics that give a casino a greater edge over winning than the players.

Slots are easy games to play, this adds to their popularity, the rules are as simple as they get, hit the spin button, the reels rotate, and wins are paid out if you align symbols on the reels. The games can feature bonus rounds and jackpots to be won.

That’s slot games in their most basic form. Now, winning is thought to be something that is pure luck and this is, again, somewhat true, but what is luck if the game is built of a program based on measures to make sure it doesn’t payout every 10 minutes.

It is a complex world of gaming when looking at slot machines online so why should players even consider playing them?

How can you make the best of slot features?

There are a number of answers to this question but the most general one comes back to the programming and how games are built and are synchronized with the casino’s management tool. Now, that may already sound like a lot to digest, but we will go through each one of these areas in turn. For now, we will let the Editor-in-Chief of onlinecasinonewzealand.nz to discuss how players can play slots in the most advantageous way if they know what to look for and the advice they give to Kiwi players that use their website.

“Slots are actually a fascinating topic when you delve into the technical aspects of the game. We tell our users in New Zealand that there is more to slots than just hitting the spin button. There is a system at play that players of a casino cannot see, and it happens inside of all the online casinos. Once you know the system, you really see the games for what they are.

“Most people online still aren’t aware that slot games are the biggest player vs. player games to date. It’s all about winning big before someone else gets there. The idea or gaming concept that it is you against the casino is an old concept that no longer applies to the online world of gambling and we feel the information we have passed onto our user has helped them to play better online.”

So, hidden systems, linked networks, casino management tools, what does all this mean?

The gaming development of slots

Online slots are built with algorithms. These control a number of facets of the machine. The RTP or Return to Player will control what proportion of the money put into the game by players is paid out and what is kept by the casino as profit. The typical RTP score is about 96%, thusly, a casino will averagely keep 4% of all monies deposited into all slot games, on average. So, the algorithm will also control when payments can be won and lost. Otherwise, if the jackpot pays out too frequently, there will be a drop in the value of the 4% kept by the casino. Also, the game needs to recoup the money to be able to pay out such high jackpot amounts.

The currency used doesn’t have too much of an effect, so cryptocurrency users have just the same chances of winning as those playing with other forms of currency.

Slots are also linked to a casino’s management tool so that it can store data that can perform a number of tasks from storing data to reconnecting players to games when the internet or Wi-Fi connection cuts.

But let’s take a closer look to see what is hidden from the view of players.

How casino data management works

The management tool is inside of every online casino so is unavoidable. It serves many purposes but mainly data storage. When it comes to playing online slots, it will log how much you deposit on average, how long you play for, your favorite games, how much you win, and how much you lose, it knows how you play and is able to recognize the pattern. It knows if you prefer to play Microgaming slots over Playtech slots. All that you do is imputed into the management tool. This means that the games are hardwired into this system and there is a back-and-forth relay of information.

In conjunction with the slots algorithms, the system effectively knows when you will win and when you will lose. A mistake of players is actually from giving up too soon when they play.

So, is it luck or not?

Is it really luck?

Rule number one of slot gaming is to not give up, now this doesn’t mean you need to play 24/7 nonstop until you land a big win. Wins will come because the algorithms will make it happen. Remember all these games are tested and approved by regulators. If the RTP of a game is paying back 96%, then it will, just perhaps not when you expect it.

Here is a scenario that is commonly played out. A player will deposit money, pick a slot and play. After 10 minutes and $10 gone, nothing has been won and that player gives up and never plays again. Well, this is because either the RTP is too low or the volatility of the game is too high. So, always make sure to research the RTP score which can be found in the gaming details and look for the volatility and try to avoid High Volatility games if you are on a gaming budget.

The lower the volatility the more frequent the game will payout and the higher the RTP the greater the return. Now, as you play the management tool is recording what you spend, and this data is shared to the game and from the game to the tool. When you have paid the RTP average, that is when you can expect a payout.

Often is the case that players who put in hundreds will win a large percentage of it back the following week.

What this all means about playing slot games

There are a number of factors to think about so let’s break these down into understandable pieces.

  • Do not overplay the slot market, stick to a few games to circulate your money and enjoyment. If you put money into too many games, you need to play them all over a longer period of time to meet up with their RTP rate so it can payout. Makes it a lot harder with 10+ games.
  • It is recommended to play Must Drop Jackpot games because you have a countdown of when jackpots will drop and when players are pumping money into a game in hopes of winning the jackpot, more money is paid out.
  • Play popular and newly released games, rather than old titles. Again, working with the theory that popular games get more money put into them, thus, hitting RTP levels quicker and making for more frequent payouts.
  • Become aware of gaming volatility. There are three levels – low, medium, and high. Medium is ideal for those that want frequent wins at a profitable rate. Either side and gaming will tend to be either unprofitable or costly.
  • Learn of your developers and this will give you better ideas of what RTPs they use and what volatility they make their games to. Software knowledge really is a key to unlock more awareness of how games are made and who makes the best ones.

With these principles in place, you will have a far better advantage over gung-ho players that aren’t aware of the gaming facts we have presented to you here.
