New King of Fighter 15 Trailer Video Introduces Three Characters

It has been four long years since the last King of Fighters game was launched and, since then, players of the franchise have had to settle with cameo appearances and mobile spinoffs in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, However, soon enough, King of Fighters 15 will formally be announced next month, following a trailer video that was released a few hours ago.

The third character featured in the trailer is Shun’ei, a fighter first who first debuted in King of Fighters 14. Now, dedicated fans who have extra money they don’t know what to do with will be happy to know that there’s a piece of The Witcher 3 merchandise they can look forward to. To be more specific, Prime 1 Studio has revealed a highly-detailed Geralt of Rivia statue, and it’s mighty expensive.

Prime 1 Studio is a manufacturer that specializes in licensed collectibles, and each one is impressively high in quality. Over the past couple of years, the company has released countless statues and figures that are iconic to pop culture.

For instance, Prime 1 Studio previously released incredibly detailed statues of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker as well as Street Fighter 5’s Ryu. That being said, it’s not easy to obtain any of their products because each one has a hefty price tag — with most statues being priced over $1000.

The Geralt of Rivia statue isn’t any different, as Prime 1 Studio is selling it at a price range of $1299-$1449. At the same time, we somewhat understand its pricing because one look at the statue and we can see just how detailed it is. This Geralt of Rivia statue by Prime 1 Studio is clearly targeting dedicated fans of not only The Witcher 3 but of the entire series in general. Although collectors, in general, might also be interested in this one, especially those who enjoy gathering premium memorabilia.

The statue comes in two versions: Standard and Deluxe. As you can imagine, the Deluxe version is more expensive with a price of $1449 because it comes with more parts. More specifically, Prime 1 Studio’s Geralt statue comes with four swappable head parts, each with different expressions.

These head parts for the Deluxe version include Geralt’s standard stoic expression; Geralt without a beard looking somewhat annoyed; Geralt with the Hearts of Stone mark on the side of his face; and Geralt with dark veins which indicate that his toxicity levels are high.

In addition to that, this 1/3 scale stands on a base that has the iconic medallion that Witcher’s have. In this case, Geralt’s medallion represents the School of Wolf. The statue even comes with Geralt’s trusty dual swords, which accompany him at all times during the game.

Overall, Prime 1 Studio’s statue of The Witcher 3’s Geralt of Rivia is, for lack of an even better word, incredible. Sadly, it’s just not a product that many fans will be able to buy. Those who can shell out that amount of cash, however, will be able to add an amazing piece to their collection.

Atlus Has ‘Exciting Plans’ For Persona’s 25th Anniversary In 2021

You’ve probably heard of the game Persona before while perusing through the internet, and that’s because the Persona franchise has been steadily rising in popularity throughout the years. The series’ popularity increased even more in 2016 when Persona 5 was released and introduced many gamers to the franchise.

Now that Persona is nearing its 25th anniversary, it appears that Atlus has even bigger plans for it this upcoming 2021. Not only did the release of Persona 5 mark the return of the Persona series in general, but it also served as a celebration for the franchise’s 20th anniversary.

Many fans appreciated this, as it was a great way to celebrate and show appreciation for the series. That being said, the community is beginning to see that Persona 5 and its subsequent spin-off titles were just the beginning.

The Producer and Director of Atlus, Kazuhisa Wada, said during the PlayStation Awards 2020 that they have “many exciting plans” for Persona in 2021, especially since the franchise will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year.

Now, Kazuhisa Wada is definitely credible when it comes to anything Persona related. After all, he has been a part of this franchise ever since Persona 2. That being said, not a lot of information was revealed asides from the confirmation that Atlus is working on something big, although fans have been coming up with some theories.

One theory is something that both new and old fans would probably want, and that’s the possibility of Persona 6’s release. While this would be a great way to celebrate the upcoming anniversary, it’s highly unlikely that Atlus will release another game this early.

As you may or may not know, Atlus took its sweet time with Persona 5, releasing the game after eight years of development. As such, we doubt that another mainline entry will be released anytime soon.

With that in mind, there are other ways for the developer and fans to celebrate the franchise next year, albeit these other ways are less ambitious. For one thing, long-time fans have been hoping and waiting for a Persona 3 remake for quite a long time now.

There are a couple of reasons why fans have been wanting a remake of this game. First, celebrating the series’ 25th anniversary with a nostalgic game beloved by many seems like an excellent concept.

Besides, many fans think that remaking Persona 3 instead of Persona 4 makes more sense, especially since Persona 4 Golden’s recent PC version was well-received by fans. Another possible theory would be the remake of Persona 1 and Persona 2.

For the longest time, countless fans have been hoping for Atlus to release a remake of the earliest Persona games possible. It can’t be denied that the developer hasn’t really paid much attention to the series’ earlier games, but a remake is still possible.

After all, Atlus will be releasing a remake of Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne some time next year. With this fact, fans have become even more hopeful for the release of — or at least an announcement for — some kind of remake.

For now, though, all we have are theories. So, the next best thing to do is to simply wait.
