September 2021 PS Plus Free Games Revealed

Sony usually reveals the free PlayStation Plus games on the final Wednesday of each month, but this wasn’t the case with the September 2021 free PS Plus titles. Because new PS Plus games are introduced on the first Tuesday of each month, and the first Tuesday of September isn’t until September 7, Sony decided to announce the next batch of free PS Plus games on Wednesday, September 1.

Three games were originally revealed as free PS Plus games for September 2021. Overcooked: All You Can Eat is available for PlayStation 5, while Predator: Hunting Grounds and Hitman 2 are available for PlayStation 4. Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asymmetric multiplayer game, whereas Overcooked: All You Can Eat is a co-op party game that combines the previous two Overcooked games with some upgrades. Hitman 2 is a stealth action game that serves as a prequel to Hitman 3, which came out earlier this year.

When the PlayStation Store refreshes on Tuesday, September 7, the free PS Plus titles for September 2021 will be available to download. Following the excitement of Gamescom last week, Tokyo Game Show Online 2021 is the gaming industry’s next big exhibition. The event’s schedule has recently been released by the Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association (CESA) and Nikkei Business Publications, providing gamers an indication of which companies and titles will be present.

The release of Diablo 2: Resurrected is rapidly approaching. With less than a month until the highly anticipated title’s release, two new trailers featuring two of the most popular classes have been released: the Barbarian and the Sorceress.

The fan-favorite Barbarian was featured in the first Diablo 2: Resurrected character class trailer. The Barbarian is shown in all of their tanking, dual-wielding, somewhat Batista-looking splendor in this roughly 30-second clip.

The clip shows the melee-focused class using a number of skills and abilities, including what look to be Battlecries, Leap Attacks, and Whirlwinds, interspersed with the tagline “Unleash your wrath.” The Barbarian’s trailer also demonstrates the class’s potential to act as a tank, with hundreds of demons fighting in the midst of a burning pentagram. Barbarians may be customized in a variety of ways, but most gamers utilize them to lead the assault into combat.

On Tuesday, Atari released a trailer for the relaunched game. Although the publisher has yet to set a release date, the teaser reveals how Centipede: Recharged intends to revitalize the series.

The style is comparable to Missile Command: Recharged from last year, and Adam Nickerson develops both games. His favorite game as a kid was Missile Command, thus it was an obvious first pick.

Nickerson also shared his expectations for Centipede: Recharged. The independent game creator wants to remake his favorite old games while adding new features and concepts. He also believes that Centipede: Recharged will bring the classic arcade game to a new generation of players.
