Everything Fans Need To Know About The Jump Force Open Beta

0
maxresdefault-14-11

Bandai Namco has announced an open beta version of Jump Force, which was first unveiled in October 2018. Unlike the previous test edition, all players will play the game without needing to log in or download any special codes.

The open beta will take place in four sessions, the first of which will begin on January 18 and the last on January 20. The below is the exact schedule:

Session #1: January 18th – from 13:00 to 16:00 (CET)

Session #2: January 19th – from 06:00 to 09:00 (CET)

Session #3: January 19th – from 17:00 to 20:00 (CET)

Session #4: January 20th – from 21:00 to 00:00 (CET)

Note that the beta is only available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, meaning PC players will have to wait before the full game is announced since Bandai Namco is unlikely to release a preview until the full game is released.

Bandai Namco announced the open beta on their official Twitter account. We went through the comments section of their tweet to find some fascinating bits of news and knowledge exchanged in the form of answers to a variety of questions posed by some die-hard fans of the game.

To begin, we’re happy to announce that neither PlayStation Plus nor Xbox Live Gold will be needed for the open beta, ensuring that all fans who have been waiting for a long time to check out this game, which can easily be described as one of the biggest anime crossover games of all time, will be able to do so for free.

In response to a question about the announcement of new characters, Bandai Namco mentioned that the release is already planned. There is still a lot to reveal, implying that several more characters will be joining the roster in the near future.

When asked whether the new characters would be from previously unannounced shows, they confirmed that there would be new characters from previously unannounced series as well as some entirely new ones.

They also announced that the game would feature more Naruto characters. This decision makes sense to us as one of the cover stars of Jump Force, since having only Naruto and Sasuke in the game does not do the anime justice. Personally, we’d like to see Madara or Itachi included, or, as Bandai Namco has announced that they want to bring more female heroes to the roster, Sakura so that the legendary Team 7 can be included in the game.

In terms of character collection and steps, the open beta would be somewhat similar to the closed beta. Bandai Namco has announced that, as the previous test version, this one will use custom character presets, but players who want to build a character that’s exactly right for them will have to wait for the complete game.

maxresdefault-4480786

To participate in the beta, players only need to download a client from their respective online stores and jump right in. There are no pre-orders or sign-ups required. Bandai Namco has confirmed that the open beta client could be released as a fix for the closed beta, but whatever the case may be, all you have to do now is go to your PlayStation or Xbox Store and download the app, and you’ll be good to go.

We won’t know the exact number of characters or their names until the full game is out because, as Bandai Namco put it, “they’re holding some guys for the full game to avoid spoiling all the fun.” As a result, the guessing game will continue until February 15th. That is undeniable.

Nubrac Banned For Playing Teemo Mid Support

0
riot-games-bans-nightblue3-league-of-legends

The ADC who flashes when your help last-hits their cs, the mid-laner who starts taking your jungle camps, the tilted top-laner who runs it down mid – we’ve all been there. Trolls, flamers, and afkers are sadly common in League of Legends, and Riot Games does its best to punish them with bans when necessary.

What happens, though, if a player is disqualified for what he describes as a genuine off-meta tactic rather than deliberately feeding? That’s just what the League of Legends subreddit has been debating for the last few days.

The story first gained traction thanks to a post on the League of Legends subreddit, which said that Famous Nubrac had been suspended after fellow streamer Nightblue3 took issue with his Teemo mid support choice and reported him to Riot.

The article, which was skewed in favor of Nubrac and against Nightblue3, included a comparison to a video showing the two streamers’ perspectives during the match in question:

When Nightblue3 notices Nubrac leaving his ADC to help Irelia in the mid-lane, he threatens Nubrac with a two-week ban in chat. In chat, he called Nubrac a “f***ing loser” and told him to “say bye-bye to your account.”

Nubrac defended his play-style at this point, claiming that he had done nothing wrong, citing the 1-0 score and the fact that he had assisted Irelia in getting first blood. He said that his goal was to put Irelia in the lead in the mid-lane and that Sivir in the bot-lane could handle the enemy bot-lane 2v1 and win every time.

However, their squad had 9 deaths and just 2 kills by the ten-minute mark, and Nubrac’s teammates began to give up. They lost the game after afking in their fountain.

“I haven’t broken any laws. That’s what I do: I come up with new ways to win games, ” Nubrac said. “I didn’t take any cs on purpose – I just played like a regular help except in the mid lane.”

With over 400 games with Teemo, he has a 48 percent win rate, but it’s unclear how many of them were played mid-support. He’s played with Nightblue3 in two other games in the last few weeks, one of which they won together when Nubrac chose Leona, and another in which Nightblue3 defeated him on the other side (Nubrac had another Leona pick).

Nubrac received a 14-day suspension for “disruptive behavior in the game such as trolling, griefing, purposely feeding, or intentionally attempting to lose the match.” He sent a ticket to Riot and inquired about the ban’s reasons:

nubrac-ban-reason-7112272

Riot’s reaction shows that the ban is for more than just this match. As detailed in this subreddit article, other famous League of Legends players responded to the news, including those who defended Nightblue3:

Nubrac and Nightblue3 had a one-on-one chat on stream about whether or not Nubrac’s acts were punishable. A few days later, Riot has also banned Nightblue3 for making threatening remarks to Nubrac in the game listed below.

Sylas Revamp Headlines Massive League of Legends 10.1 Update

maxresdefault-13-10

With the launch of League’s next season approaching, a major patch will be released soon to complete all of the preseason updates. Although the latest Elemental Rift, drake scheme, and objects have all been introduced, there will be a slew of other updates in the near future.

Mark ‘Scruffy’ Yetter, the game’s lead combat designer, gave fans a rundown of what to expect from Patch 10.1, which includes some important nerfs for the game’s most oppressive champions as well as some new power choices.

The mini Sylas rework is one of the most significant updates in Patch 10.1. In a December 2019 forum update, Scruffy mentioned that Riot wanted to “shift his mechanics in a way that opens up some flaws for him in very high level play while making him a viable champ for the majority of players.”

Sylas has been simplified somewhat, with the loss of his auto-attack resets on his W and E, which were exploited in pro play for huge burst damage with his passive. That momentum is now moving to his late game, which is about to get a lot more intense.

At level five, all of Sylas’ abilities gained improved damage amounts, and most of them got an AP scaling buff, rendering him better the more items he has. His passive was also completely reworked to give him more AP scaling and bonus attack pace, giving him slightly less burst but slightly more overall damage.

To compensate for the updates, the only big nerf Sylas got was the loss of his shield on his E, but overall, Sylas would be buffed going into Season 10. While he has a lower ability limit, he should still be fun to play.

Aphelios and Mordekaiser, on the other hand, are likely to be heavily nerfed. Aphelios, League’s newest champion, has dominated bot lane since his release, but with nerfs to his movement pace, base health, and Infernum R impact, he will be toned down a bit.

Mordekaiser’s passive has been nerfed, reducing his ability to cling to opponents during long battles. On Patch 10.1, Aurelion Sol and Kassadin’s damage and movement speed were both reduced slightly.

Minor buffs will be provided to Azir, Corki, Jayce, Jax, Kalista, Nami, Sejuani, Shyvana, Varus, Vi, and Zyra during Patch 10.1 to help them regain relevancy. To make Omnistone more viable, Keystone Prototype: Omnistone will get another cooldown buff.

Health regeneration has been added to the Relic Shield and Steel Shoulderguard sides, while mana regeneration has been added to the Spectral Sickle and Spellthief’s Edge lines.

Wukong’s rework, which players planned to arrive after Patch 10.1, was one noticeable absence from the early notes. The champion was already being tinkered with, according to Scruffy, and was “not ready for 10.1.”

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Lost Tales of Greece DLC Is Free, Funny and Deep

Since its debut, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has steadily evolved with live events and new monsters to battle. These events and tests maintain the Grecian world’s sense of risk, but the most surprising and exciting new additions have been a smattering of new quests.

The latest “Lost Tales of Greece”—of which two have already been published, with more on the way—aren’t dazzling, but they’ve given plenty of memorable moments. The first two missions dealt with silly stage productions and enigmatic (and possibly mystical) divine intervention. They’re stories that add meaning to the universe and history rather than just slapping a cyclops on a map.

The Show Must Go On

maxresdefault-1107633

“The Show Must Go On,” the first Lost Tale, was released on November 1st. Thespis’ efforts to write a play about King Leonidas are the subject of the play. Kassandra (or Alexios) must procure wine for the crowd as well as locate Thespis’ lost performers.

It should have been a straightforward fetch search, but there are some stupid choices you can make that will ruin Thespis’ efforts if you want to. Is it worth it to help a shy but talented actor back to the stage, or would you merely employ the stout mercenary who is extorting him for money? A fearsome general is required for the game, and either will suffice.

There’s also a riddle sequence in which you have to figure out who the actual actor is among a group of cultists who have all adopted the same name. You might find him, or you might not. The show must go on in any case.

These small chances to influence the quest’s result are enjoyable, but the true pleasure comes from seeing Kassandra play her grandfather Leonidas. Thespis’ script is riddled with inaccuracies and embellishments, so while you’re on stage, you may deviate from it for something more true. The search allows you to roleplay and see the weird side of ancient art, whether you create a masterpiece or a bumbling flop.

A Divine Intervention

acod_ltog_divine_intervention_promo_image-5345118

The second quest, “A Divine Intervention,” compares well with this. Kassandra is sent on a series of missions by a mystery individual, including an examination to determine if Apollo or Poseidon is the most dangerous deity. In the first, you must dispatch some rabid lions, while in the second, you assist a pirate in dealing with mercenaries destroying a settlement.

Each quest has both aggressive and nonviolent options that, though straightforward, allow for some roleplaying. The quest-giver gets more enigmatic as you progress, and he seems to know a lot about you. Is it just that she’s intelligent and wealthy, or is there something more divine at work? It all comes to a head with a resolution that allows you to flesh out your character’s interaction with myth and the gods.

The Lost Tales of Greece don’t change the landscape drastically or introduce new places to explore, but they allow players to interact with more aspects of Greek culture, such as theater and religion. They aren’t long, but they are more substantial than fans had expected. You should probably try them out if you’re running out of cultists to destroy or beasts to fight.

How To Get The Ancient Tomahawk In Red Dead Redemption 2

0
pagan-online-character-pic-2

In Rockstar’s new open-world western, Red Dead Redemption 2, there are a lot of fantastic weapons to discover. There are several special guns in the game that are easter eggs from other Rockstar Games, including Grand Theft Auto and Bully, but other popular weapons are worth discovering. The Ancient Tomahawk is one of them, and here’s how to find it.

To obtain the Ancient Tomahawk in Red Dead Redemption 2, you must first travel to the area near Calumet Ravine, which is indicated on the map below. Players will find an old target practice stand as they arrive in the field.

A goal is leaned against one of the supports to the left of the stand, and inside the target is the Ancient Tomahawk. The Ancient Tomahawk is attached to your Compendium without the need for a special event; retrieve it from the target.

According to the Compendium entry, the Ancient Tomahawk is a one-of-a-kind tool “a traditional Native American Tomahawk with a striped bound shaft and a sharply polished blade. This weapon has been well handled by one of the locals, despite certain signs of age.” The Ancient Tomahawk is one of the most stealthy weapons in the series, with a one-hit kill at near range.

In Red Dead Redemption 2, you will find 59 different firearms, ranging from revolvers to handguns to rifles and shotguns. The game’s large number of weapons not only encourages each player to enjoy fighting in their own unique way, but it also provides collectors with a fun challenge.

With the addition of the lethal Ancient Tomahawk to your arsenal, you’ll be one step closer to possessing all of the weapons in this massive game.

Best Pagan Online Classes To Beat Down The Horde

0
pagan-online-character-pic

There are ten different Pagan Online classes to choose from, each with its own set of rules. You will only unlock one hero at a time in the beginning, but each additional character costs one hero soul from the extremely difficult list of assassination missions.

Knowing which heroes to unlock first will make all the difference, so we’ve broken down each class in Pagan Online, including their powers, difficulty, and best moves, to help you hack and slash your way through the endless hordes of enemies.

Hector

paganonline_herohector_splashart-min-9270117

  • Melee or Ranged: Ranged
  • Classification: Junker
  • Primary Attribute: Strength
  • Complexity: Beginner
  • Recommended Skills: Flamethrower, 2-Rats, Oil Spill, Scrap-O-Tron

Have you ever considered using a shotgun in an action RPG? Hector is the same way. He’s a ranged hero who has to get close in order to do the most harm with his main attack. Hector has two rat buddies that can handle their own cute turrets, as if running a lot of tech gadgets wasn’t enough.

Flamethrower is ridiculously strong despite its short-range, and the Sorry Not Sorry node causes a funny chain reaction of burning limbs. Flamethrower works well with the Yuck and Action Hero nodes from Oil Spill, dealing extra sunfire damage.

To build a rapid-firing rodent death squad, combine the 2-Rats abilities with Scrap-O-Rodent Tron’s Revelry node.

Elden

erhhekux97jqzvn5yggra6-1985446

  • Melee or Ranged: Both!
  • Classification: Weaponsmaster
  • Primary Attribute: Strength
  • Complexity: Advanced
  • Recommended Skills: Impalement, Shatter, Glacial Armor, Hammerfall

Any other hero in Pagan Online is either ranged or melee, but the frost elemental Elden will switch stances from dual-wielding blades to tossing ice javelins, giving him the best of all worlds. Both of his talents, like Lukian’s, are dual-purpose, with different results based on his stance.

Impalement freezes opponents immediately, and the Frost Nova node adds still more crowd control. Glacial Armor can be used in the melee stance with the Winter Soldier node to reduce injury. Once the freeze and frostbite symptoms have extended, use Shatter, which grants buffs to all three nodes. Hammerfall deals a lot of harm in a short amount of time and works well with Impalement’s freeze effect.

Masha

maxresdefault-4263241

  • Melee or Ranged: Melee
  • Classification: Fortune Teller
  • Primary Attribute: Intelligence
  • Complexity: Intermediate
  • Recommended Skills: Soundwave, Bladestorm, Twirl, Tendon Slash

It’s a first for us to see an actor wielding weaponized tambourines. Masha’s special dodge ability throws a tarot card at her, which grants her one of four buffs. She then uses her Wind Weave passive to keep herself alive by dodging attacks.

Bladestorm is a natural fit for this melee hero: the Prophecy of Doom node boosts tarot card impact, and Lethal Performance adds a nice stun effect.

Twirl gives you some useful versatility, and all three nodes are worth exploring for extra damage and costs. Then, as a debuff, use Tendon Slash with Lethal Choreography to reboot the Twirl. Finally, Soundwave’s Dazed and Confused node can work well with Bladestorm’s stun.

Dameer

maxresdefault-3498213

  • Melee or Ranged: Ranged
  • Classification: Wildborn
  • Primary Attribute: Strength
  • Complexity: Advanced
  • Recommended Skills: Call to Action, Berserk, Feral Souls, Ring of Thorns

Dameer is a druid with a permanent AI bear friend called Vavvan, and he’s one of Pagan Online’s most difficult groups. Dameer will regenerate by merging his soul with Vavvan instead of dodging, and his right click switches the bear into offensive and defensive stances.

Berserk allows us to briefly monitor the bear, which is a safe way to get away from threats. Call to Action is difficult to use since its effect varies depending on the bear’s posture, but all three nodes have useful skills. Our primary AOE attack is Ring of Thorns, but Feral Souls are more powerful once we activate the Tenacity node and summon an entire wolf pack.

Valeria

maxresdefault-2625974

  • Melee or Ranged: Ranged
  • Classification: Huntress
  • Primary Attribute: Strength
  • Complexity: Beginner
  • Recommended Skills: Trueshot, Leash Trap, Smoke Bomb, Chakram

Valeria has figured out how to never have to reload her auto-crossbows, effectively turning her into a handheld death turret. With Jump Out, she has one of the most fun dodge abilities, with the option of making it into a temporary invulnerable AOE attack as she jumps over opponents.

Grab all three nodes for Barrage because you’ll be using her simple attack a lot. Since the squishy archer needs to kite as much as possible to be safe, the Leash Trap is useful for hindering enemies. Toss a Smoke Bomb on top of them with Shadow Kill, jump on top with Jump Out, and finish with Chakram. Trueshot is our only burst damage choice, but it’s a reliable performer. When Leash Trap is on cooldown, the Clutch node offers a rooting alternative.

Lukian

pagan-win64-shipping_2019_04_18_23_53_29_104-5797563

  • Melee or Ranged: Ranged
  • Classification: Arcanist
  • Primary Attribute: Intelligence
  • Complexity: Advanced
  • Recommended Skills: Sigil of Perun/Mark of Dabog, Lightning Ring/Fire Nova, Lightning Incarnate/Living Sun, Lightning Disciple, Fire Disciple

Lukian seems to be a traditional elemental mage with lighting and fire spells at first sight. Either one of his powers, on the other hand, is a two-in-one, capable of casting two separate spells depending on which simple attack he uses as a follow-up. As a result, he is a complex but strong hero.

Lukian’s Lightning Strike simple assault, which auto-targets and hits several targets, is one of the best in the game. The Brand of Perun node from Sigil of Perun makes it much better. Lighting Ring/Fire Nova is great for clearing huge numbers of enemies, while Lighting Incarnate/Living Sun deals a lot of damage while still allowing you to move about.

Finish with the Disciple, not for the feeble summon, but for the Restless Spirit node, which grants a significant damage buff.

Morokh

maxresdefault-8175904

  • Melee or Ranged: Melee
  • Classification: Assassin
  • Primary Attribute: Intelligence
  • Complexity: Intermediate
  • Recommended Skills: Harvest, Horrible Visage, Soul Drain, Decay

The grim reaper wields a large ass scythe and relies on specific combinations to maximize his skills. His key combo is Cleave, which resets Harvest’s cooldown. Morokh deals a lot of harm by piling Curse on several enemies and zipping around with Harvest. Remember that Morokh’s dodge ability Shadow Step also applies Morokh’s curse on any opponent he moves through.

The fear impact from Horrible Visage, as well as Harvest’s The Terror node, are excellent ways to clear any room. We can use Soul Drain with Regenerating Curse to get a good healing boost after we’ve scattered some Curse stacks. We favor Decay over Limbo for locking down enemies due to its higher damage and shorter cooldown. Then, using Claws of the Dead, ensure that they stay inside.

Istok

maxresdefault-1013057

  • Melee or Ranged: Melee
  • Classification: Tank
  • Primary Attribute: Strength
  • Complexity: Beginner
  • Recommended Skills: Overpower, Thunderfist, Rolling Mountain, Sacred Ground

Istok’s tank function is filled by a passive that enhances his damage every time his effective shield is used. Istok’s Shield of the Righteous has a minor effect on partners, rendering him a cooperative teammate who can be helpful.

This tanky kid has terrible agility, but a Rolling Mountain with Bull Rush and Mountain Mastery will help him get around. Both Overpower and Sacred Ground provide healing and defensive benefits, and both can be talented to have teammates in co-op play. Thunderfist is used because it deals ridiculous levels of damage because who doesn’t like watching the field execute an uppercut?

Anya

maxresdefault-9294726

  • Melee or Ranged: Ranged
  • Classification: Lifeleecher
  • Primary Attribute: Intelligence
  • Complexity: Intermediate
  • Recommended Skills: Swarm, Heartbeat, Blood Spikes, Altar of Gore

Anya’s glowing blood whip is one of the game’s most visually stunning simple attack animations. Despite the fact that she uses a melee sword, she has such a long range that she is a ranged hero.

Most of her abilities deplete enemy health, rendering her more difficult to control than melee heroes like Kingewitch, Istok, and Morokh. Increase regeneration, incorporate a stacking damage buff, and reduce cooldowns for all the tiny blood drops we’ll be catching by dumping points into her Blood Rite passive.

With the Rejuvenation tree, Swarm may be used defensively to provide some much-needed resistance. Heartbeat will provide us with a huge burst of damage, while Blood Spikes will provide us with excellent crowd control. For too many healing abilities, stacking as much health and armor as possible is advantageous.

Kingewitch

maxresdefault-2895892

  • Melee or Ranged: Melee
  • Classification: Berserker
  • Primary Attribute: Strength
  • Complexity: Beginner
  • Recommended Skills: Whirlwind, Stomp, Execution, Judgement of Svarog

For someone who has recently completed Diablo 3, Kingewitch is an obvious pick. He’s a Diablo-style Barbarian, complete with whirlwind and leap strikes, as well as a magnificent handlebar mustache. He’s simple to learn and play, making him an excellent pick for beginners.

Whirlwind, preceded by Execution, would be a big part of your arsenal in the game. With their Bloodlust and Judgement nodes, stacking vital chance pieces would help all talents. Stomp is a valuable agility ability for jumping into and out of fights; for even more mobility, snatch Fast Recovery.

Judgement of Svarog completes the collection of skills by including a valuable set-it-and-forget buff. Remember to catch the Guarding Strikes node from your primary attack for a fast stacking boost.

Monster Hunter World: Arch Tempered Zorah Magdaros Guide

0
mhw-at-zorah-min

The Arch-Tempered variant of Zorah Magdaros is now playable in Monster Hunter World on consoles. Everything you have to do is go to the bulletin board’s event quests tab and jump right in.

ArchTempered Zorah Magdaros isn’t all that far from standard Zorah Magdaros (the second fight specifically). However, when you don’t have much time to defeat the beast, any bit of damage counts.

Here’s how to defeat the Arch Tempered Zorah Magdaros:

How To Kill The Monster

Zorah Magdaros is vulnerable to weapons that have a water or dragon feature. Leave your arms that cause status effects in the trunk; they have little effect on Zorah Magdaros. Armor or decorations with the Heavy Artillery ability will increase the strength of the cannon and ballistae shooting, which will be extremely useful in the fight’s second phase.

maxresdefault-8839376

As soon as you arrive at the mission, go to a hitching post and climb on Zorah Magdaros’ back. The first thing you would do is kill the three Magma Cores on its back. They’re all in the same spot they’ve always been, so use the mini-map as a guide.

The magma that the cores emit is much more intense, so you must return as soon as they begin to glow. A tool like a hammer or long sword is good because it deals a lot of damage while also helping you move about. Zorah Magdaros can change form from time to time, but this isn’t a major issue.

When riding on Zorah Magdaros’ back, keep an eye out for stalactites dangling from the ceiling. Slinger ammunition can be used to shoot the barrels on the side of the stalactites, causing them to fall on Zorah Magdaros, causing free damage. So when you first arrive on Zorah Magdaros, make sure to stock up on rock ammo.

Nergigante will eventually appear on the wide, arena-like region in the back of Zorah Magdaros. Nergigante isn’t a big deal; what you have to do is repel it by doing enough harm to it. It’s not even regular-tempered, let alone Arch-Tempered.

You can’t just forget it as you can when battling normal Zorah Magdaros, so repel it as soon as possible. Place bomb barrels in the arena so that Nergigante collides with them as soon as it lands. As a note, ore deposits can be found all over Zorah Magdaros, so stop by and mine them when you have the opportunity.

You’ll eventually hit a brick wall. You must use cannons and ballistae ammunition to weaken Zorah Magdaros and complete the task. Concentrate the efforts on the cannons, which deal much more harm than the ballistae.

Suppose you run out of ammunition for a nearby cannon, attempt to locate a new ammo pile close by. Zorah Magdaros will charge the wall now and then, but it doesn’t do much harm. It does, however, smash cannons and ballistae.

The charge assault of Zorah Magdaros is destructive, however, you can stop it. When it’s charging a threat, the Handler will warn you. When that happens, use a ballista to fire binder ammunition and cannons to disrupt the assault and temporarily stun Zorah Magdaros.

monster-hunter-world-zorah-magdaros-2386197

You will get on the ship’s deck by hopping down from the left side of the wall. Not only does the ship have more cannons, but it still has the Dragonator’s turn. The Dragonator is necessary for defeating Zorah Magdaros because it deals huge damage to it. However, according to US Gamer, it just fires every five minutes, so make sure the beast is right beside the ship before firing.

NPCs will be present to load cannons, allowing you to run around and shoot them until they’ve been fully armed. When the NPC waves to you, you know they’re completely loaded. If you do all of that, you should have no trouble defeating Arch Tempered Zorah Magdaros.

Rewards For Beating Arch Tempered Zorah Magdaros

You will win materials to forge the gamma edition of the Zorah Magdaros armor series by defeating Arch-Tempered Zorah Magdaros. Compared to the alpha and beta sets, the gamma package has significantly more protection and decoration slots. However, some alpha and beta sets’ individual armor pieces have superior abilities than some of the gamma set’s individual armor pieces.

According to IGN, you can get the Critical Status ability by wearing at least three gammas Zorah Magdaros armor pieces, which improves status impact damage when causing critical hits. Status factor builds have been much more feasible with the launch of gamma Zorah Magdaros armor, as you now have a lot more protection and decoration slots to deal with, making you more effective against tempered monsters.

d2sm7o1xcaav0bm-8569109

The gamma armor collection is broken down as follows:

Head – Windproof 2, Critical Eye 2, one level two decoration slot
Chest – Tremor resistance 2, three-level one slots
Arms – Earplugs 2, one level three slot, one level one slot
Belt – Bombardier 2, Critical Eye 1, one level three slot, one level two slot
Legs – Blast Attack 2, Critical Eye 1, one level one slot, one level two slot

You will also get the Origins Layered Armor by completing a distribution quest with the special materials from Arch Tempered Zorah Magdaros.

Effects of Video Games on College Students

Gaming is an art that used to be frowned upon many years ago, but today it’s become part of our everyday lives thanks to advancements in technology. You can now take your games with you on the go thanks to hybrid consoles and handheld devices like the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation Vita. It’s not just consoles in peoples living rooms that have elevated the gaming industry, smartphones have also played their part. Games can be bought or downloaded free from the iOS and android store. This article will look at the positive and negative impacts video games have on college students.

Positive impact video games have on college students

#1. Video games help ease depression and anxiety in students

Pressure to do well from parents and assignment deadlines can bring about depression to students. This can lead to some turning to things like drugs and alcohol to be able to cope. This can further affect their academic performances however, there is a solution that comes in the form of video games.

Games can help students deal with depression if used correctly according to many experts. A professional essay writer Joan Young from AdvancedWriters – essay services said, “People who play video games are more emotionally positive, energetic and confident because gaming minimizes the risk of depression as well as deals with arthritis”.

Gaming for some students is therapeutic because it gives them a chance to interact with their friends and have fun at the same time. This makes them feel less lonely which is one of the major contributors to depression. When your fingers are active and pressing buttons through gaming, arthritis is kept under control which helps you get assignments done faster without feeling any pain.

#2. Video games improve brain activity

The human brain is a very powerful organ and at the center of the decisions, we make in our everyday lives. Making sure it is in tip-top condition is important and this is where gaming can help. When a student plays video games, they will notice an improvement in their memory, motor skills, and organization.

This is because gaming is known to trigger responses in areas of the brain that are responsible for the activities mentioned above. Playing games also improve one’s decision-making skills and increases their reaction time to questions asked in class compared to someone who isn’t a gamer.

#3. Video games can improve a student’s life skills

Even though gaming does have a bad reputation in some quarters for reasons which will be highlighted below, it is a great way for someone to improve their life skills. It helps lonely students make friends and form bonds with people they share common interests.

Many popular games like Fortnite for example have a very large community one can be a part of and interact with others who will improve their life skills. Apart from this, video games help students become more focused, critically analyze things and concentrate on the tasks handed to them. This is because some puzzle-based games require you to analyze clues given to you to solve the problem.

#3. Video games can improve a student’s vision

This is one of the most unexpected and least talked about benefits of gaming which is to improve vision. Gamers are known to accurately tell the differences between different shades of gray compared to non-gamers. Gaming also improves a student’s ability to visually detect the direction in which an object is moving even on a screen filled with clutter.

Gamers are known to be 80% accurate in this scenario while non-gamers are 30% accurate. It is worth noting that sitting very close to the TV while gaming is not a good idea and can damage your vision. As long as you sit at a safe distance while playing games, your vision will not be affected negatively but you’ll notice it getting sharper.

Negative impact video games have on college students

#1. Promotes violence

One of the biggest criticisms of the video industry is how it glorifies violence sometimes. When playing violent video games, students need to control themselves and not act out the things they see. There have been cases in the USA, especially where students have gone on shooting sprees because they wanted to act out what they saw in video games like Grand Theft Auto or Call of Duty. If you feel you can’t control yourself or are being affected by the violence in games, seek help or play games of a different genre.

#2. Video games can be addictive

Just like the point above, self-control is also very important here if one doesn’t want to become addicted to video games. While games are known to improve a student’s decision-making process, being addicted to them affects one’s attendance record and grades. Assignment deadlines can sometimes be missed because a student stayed up late playing their favorite game. If you feel yourself getting addicted to games, try to go outdoors often, socialize with friends and family or seek help before it’s too late.

#3. Students can become obese

Studies that have been conducted over the years have undiscovered that video games make students overweight with every hour they spend playing. Since one is not mobile and staying in one place, it can also lead to muscle pain and sleep deprivation which massively contribute to obesity. To combat this, one has to ensure there’s a balance between gaming and getting some physical exercise.

#4. Video games can isolate someone from reality or real-world problems

Some students use video games to escape their real-life problems instead of confronting them. This is not a good idea because one can become detached from reality and bring the walls down on relationships they have with their family and friends if not careful. Even though one can stay connected with family and friends via games that allow internet connection, nothing beats face-to-face interaction with loved ones.

Despite some of the negatives why video games should not be used in education that have been highlighted above, playing video games is a wonderful way to kill time as long as one doesn’t overdo it. Video games can teach students a variety of things like dealing with depression, improve their vision, enhance their social skills as well as improve their thinking skills.

Jump Force Releases New Giorno Giovanna Screenshots and Gameplay

Despite being different from typical BNE fighters like Tekken 7, Soul Calibur 6, or Dragon Ball FighterZ, Bandai Namco’s Jump Force, created by Spike Chunsoft, has become a hit with fans. Jump Force is an arena-based anime fighter released in February 2019 to celebrate Shonen Jump’s 50th anniversary. It features a roster of characters from various Shonen Jump series.

Jump Force received mixed feedback when released in 2018, with reviewers pointing to the game’s plot as a specific flaw. Despite this, Spike Chunsoft, the game’s creator, has continued to promote Jump Force with two DLC character passes, which incorporate 14 fan favourites from the Weekly Shounen Jump manga series.

Todoroki from My Hero Academia, Meruem from Hunter x Hunter, Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho, and most recently Yoruichi from Bleach are all part of Jump Force’s second season of DLC. The season’s final character, Giorno Giovanna from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, was previously revealed. Bandai Namco has released screenshots of the Golden Wind protagonist in the weeks leading up to Giorno’s anticipated release date.

The screenshots depict Giorno’s gameplay and his Stand, Gold Experience Requiem, as well as how Giorno is supposed to be handled in Jump Power. Giorno’s stand, who plays the part of the puppet archetype in a combat game, fights with several of Jojo’s visual cues, such as fast-paced attacks and over-the-top effects conveyed by screenshots.

Seto Kiba from Yu-Gi-Oh, Naruto’s Gaara, and Rurouni Kenshin’s Makoto Shishio from Rurouni Kenshin fight Giorno Giovanna and Gold Experience Requiem in the teaser. About the fact that the trailer is in Japanese, fans of Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure should be able to grasp the talents and skills shown. Following Bleach’s Yoruichi Shihouin’s return to the game in January 2021, Giorno Giovanna is the 14th DLC player to join the roster, and he appears to be the last.

The Yoruichi trailer was Bandai Namco’s most recent Jump Force trailer, which led to rumors about Giorno’s gameplay. Modders previously had access to a very early build of Giovanna alongside Yoruichi late last year, with the words “early build” being the main words since his appearance seemed to be severely lacking in comparison to the rest of the cast. Following the screenshots, a teaser for Giorno is expected shortly, so Jojo fans won’t have to wait long to play GioGio himself.

Character Pass 3 is, however, still a probability. Spike Chunsoft also produced Dragon Ball FighterZ, which recently completed its third character pack with the addition of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta to the franchise. We will see more content added to the game if Jump Force fans want it.

10 Best Overwatch Skins for Ashe

0
ashe-ptr-1280x720

With Jesse McCree’s defection to Overwatch, Ashe has become the de facto leader of the Deadlock Gang. Ashe is one of the most enjoyable Damage heroes to play in the new roster. Ashe excels at maintaining the middle ground, holding all tanks and squishies at bay in style.

Best of all, she comes with one of Overwatch’s most beloved side characters: Bob! Her available masks, of course, alter both her and Bob’s looks. Despite the fact that Ashe has a limited number of skins due to her status as one of the most recently published characters, all of her skins are excellent representations of her.

Socialite

Steam Workshop::Ashe "Socialite" (Overwatch)

The iconic skin Socialite is ideal for any player who wants to dress like a posh, formal Ashe and make other players look like paupers in contrast. It depicts Ashe in Charity Ball wear befitting one of the rich upper class.

Socialite is ideal for someone who wishes to slaughter the red team mercilessly while looking good doing so. Bob is dressed in a slim-fitting blue suit with a matching monocle and bowtie for good measure.

During the seasonal event of the same name, Socialite is accessible from Archives loot boxes.

Gangster

maxresdefault-5503601

Gangster is the second iconic skin on the list, and it’s a brilliant skin for both Ashe and Bob, portraying them as stereotypical upscale criminals dressed in red and black. The pinstripe trousers look great on all of them, and the suspenders go together with Ashe and Bob’s costumes. Both of their caps are indeed great for them!

Gangster is available all year, and it isn’t tied to any specific holidays or activities.

Safari

ovr_ashe_010-9960383

The legendary skin Safari is next on the list. Safari turns Ashe and Bob into big game hunters, ideal for tracking down the red team’s foes. Both Bob and Ashe are depicted as explorers of unknown deserts and other adventures in the skin.

Safari, like Gangster, is a legendary skin that can be obtained year-round through loot boxes or credits.

Mobster

Steam Workshop::Overwatch - Ashe & B.O.B (PM+NPC) Mobster/Gangster

Mobster is another iconic skin for Ashe, and it’s a recoloring of the Gangster skin with minor changes. Unlike the Gangster suit, which has Ashe and Bob dressed in mainly red and black, the Mobster skin has them dressed in mostly white and purple.

In the end, we concluded that the red and black looked better on the couple, but Mobster’s purple and white with pinstripe trousers and suspenders is still a reasonable option and could be preferable to certain teams.

Mobster is a legendary skin that both credits and loot boxes can obtain at any time during the year.

Jungle

ikytovg-7120892

The next skin on the list is Jungle. Ashe and Bob have a mythical skin called Jungle that depicts them as jungle explorers. They both happen to be natural camouflage candidates for trekking across the Amazon rainforest.

The Jungle skin is a recoloring of the Safari skin mentioned above, and it’s just lower on the list because we thought the Safari coloring and style suited Ashe’s personality better. The jungle is available all year long in all loot boxes only for 1000 credits.

Winter

ashe_winter_overwatch_1544618002498-1320372

So far, Winter is the only epic skin on the list. It depicts Ashe and Bob in icy blue hues that would make any player feel at ease in even the coldest of climates. Bob’s jacket has a snowflake emblem on the back, and Ashe’s hair, with its neon dyed light blue color, looks cold.

With their fur padding, Ashe’s boots are also stunning. It’s so toasty. Winter is available for 750 credits during the seasonal event or from Winter Wonderland loot boxes.

Thorn

uiiskcu-3397056

Ashe’s epic skin, after all, proves that any rose has its thorns. The next skin on the list is Thorn. Ashe and Bob are shown in varying red and pink hues in this skin. With this flesh, the pair seem to be utterly poisonous in their rose-centered designs. Thorn can be purchased for 250 credits or obtained from any and all loot boxes during the year.

Posh

n1xumuf-5134325

Posh is the last of the epic skins to make the cut, and it features white and black recolorings of Ashe and Bob’s default styles. With her gold trimmings on a plain white robe, Ashe looks ridiculously lavish, and Bob follows suit in his recoloring with this skin.

Even their arms are more opulent in gold, and you don’t even have to compete to get the gold pistol for her. Posh can be purchased for 250 credits or obtained from any of the year’s loot boxes.

Sunflower

sunflower-6894240

Since Ashe no longer has any epic or legendary skins (aside from Overwatch League skins, which must be purchased separately from the base game), the uncommon skin Sunflower is next on the list. Sunflower is a special skin that recolors Ashe’s regular skin in all the right places with yellow and deeper black accent lines.

Sunflower is a really inexpensive alternative to having regular skin if you find it lacks a little something and you don’t have any of her other skins. Sunflower is a cheap 50-credit item that can be purchased or obtained from loot boxes all year.

Classic

screenshot-4191-6121919

Don’t worry if you don’t have any other Ashe skins and don’t want to waste credits on anything. Regardless, Ashe’s default skin is a fantastic one for her. Her default style depicts the protagonist in all of the new Deadlock Gang’s glory.

Both Bob and her have striking features that make them two of the best default hero designs in the game right now. This is the one you start with, and it doesn’t need any additional purchases or loot boxes, which is fantastic!
